I want to publicly recognize Nurse Jordan in the Observation Unit at Silver Cross Hospital for saving my life and providing the most empathetic care I have ever received. On August 22, 2025, I was admitted following a frightening syncope episode.
The next day, my condition worsened dramatically, leading to a Rapid Response call where I was diagnosed with Sick Sinus Syndrome. When the doctor explained that, at 35, I needed a pacemaker, I completely broke down. I was terrified and cried hysterically.
Nurse Jordan was there, and she didn't just stand by, she was present. She felt my pain, comforted me, and assured me I was in the best hands. As a nurse myself, I know the difference between good care and truly exceptional care. Jordan went above and beyond her clinical duties; she was my tireless advocate, ensuring I felt safe during the most vulnerable time of my life.
