Alexis left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then lied about an open December appointment. Utilizing words like we only have one doctor that can see people "like you". She then stated that they only have openings for late February. I have never asked for services as a female or Transgender. I'm a guy, period. There is no reason for gender stereotyping because I choose to dress or look a certain way. As such the TSP CPT Dr.Jefferies chose to act with violence during one of our sessions. This is very vindictive behavior. The procedure was painless and went a lot faster then I thought it would. The people working in the Dental clinic really care and treated me wonderfully. I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive. Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities. I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery. I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with. The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for. I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself. PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. The staff was understanding and accommodating. The first few days are made much easier with their care and support. Afterwards, the transfer to an outpatient program on Mill St. for a PHP(Partial Hospitalization Program) and an IOP(Intensive Outpatient Program) is necessary to continue recovery. You'll be met with an amazing staff who will provide extremely helpful skills and techniques to help overcome addiction and assist with mental health issues. Great positive and effective energy here. Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. 17Apr2026 Review changed to 5 Stars. Extremely helpful couple working the mid-counter were able Guide me to the secondary eye clinic, Brenda was super friendly getting me checked into the acute Eye clinic. Additionally while I waited the workers at the coffee lounge we're exceedingly helpful and very cheerful. There was a new female who was very cheerful and was thanking the veterans for there service. In ( the main eye clinc) Dr.Dessler was very thorough ask and educating me on the 4 treatments. Both eye clinics were very transparent. And that is something to be stated. I highly recommend the eye clinics here. 11Nov2025 Downgraded to 1 star Review After " Alexis " (Women Clinic) left a voicemail attempting to get me into an appointment. Alexis left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then lied about an open December appointment. Utilizing words like we only have one doctor that can see people "like you". She then stated that they only have openings for late February. I have never asked for services as a female or Transgender. I'm a guy, period. There is no reason for gender stereotyping because I choose to dress or look a certain way. As such the TSP CPT Dr.Jefferies chose to act with violence during one of our sessions. This is very vindictive behavior. Other than the outstanding lab department & Dr.Riz I do not recommend this location for now. ---------------------- 3Jul2025 (5 Five Review) A great man walked these halls. DR.B will be remembered and mark a standard of care that is yet to be seen at this location. No ceremony for a person who did the right thing always. What a joke how you treat a Doctor who served Veterans for 10 + years. Go to the back where the staff & doctors are sleeping sprawled out on all benches ( like hobos) specifically built gazebos for veterans. Had oral surgery at Hines yesterday. While it still hurts some my experience was positive. Dr. Shahbazian is just fantastic. The procedure was painless and went a lot faster then I thought it would. The people working in the Dental clinic really care and treated me wonderfully. Unfortunately, after the procedure I had gauze in my mouth so I couldn't thank them as much as I wanted to.

So I want to let anyone know who is looking into treatment Banyan was such a fantastic experience for me. I owe them such a debt of GRATITUDE. I am a middle-aged woman with kids who was struggling with drinking - life was just sad for me due to some pretty terrible trauma-I knew I needed to make a change and I came to Banyan. I was scared & ashamed. They treated me with such kindness. The program was well structured & professional. The financial obligation was manageable. Everyone there continues to check on my progress. I have completely been sober since I left and have a completely new life - A+ Banyan. I continue to have great friendships from my time there. Here is one thing i say to people who ask me about getting sober. I have not met one person -not one single person -who regrets getting sober. There are millions of people- hundreds of millions of people - right now regretting drinking, why not make the change now? people get sober for a lot of different reasons.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and my experience might have been different due to my age (late 30s). I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive. Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities. I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery. I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with. The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for. I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself. PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. You literally are the best. <3

I've been to several rehabs. ECS had a different outlook on recovery than the previous rehabs. The staff in the facilities is probably the best part. Most of the staff are also in recovery and provide advice based on experience. The aftercare available and the sense of community is a big reason I'm sober today. ECS showed me that recovery is much more than just getting sober.

I’m a resident of Oxford sober living in Darien for the women’s house. Ten minutes away from Abraxas. I went to Abraxas and loved the staff. I had been to 35 rehabs in total and couldn’t grasp the concept of sobriety. But something clicked for me in there. Now I’m two years sober and giving back to my community. The inpatient facility for detox from alcohol and other substances is the first step to recovery. The staff was understanding and accommodating. The first few days are made much easier with their care and support. Afterwards, the transfer to an outpatient program on Mill St. for a PHP(Partial Hospitalization Program) and an IOP(Intensive Outpatient Program) is necessary to continue recovery. You'll be met with an amazing staff who will provide extremely helpful skills and techniques to help overcome addiction and assist with mental health issues. Great positive and effective energy here. Doctors, Nurses, Therapists and all Staff were friendly and professional.

I went through PHP/IOP at Linden oaks and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I was in the Adolescent Dual program for substance abuse and mental health. I tried to make to most of my time there, since I had never been through PHP/IOP. I had a wonderful time and Kris and Linda were very sweet and always advocated for me and every other patient. We brought our son here to the Naperville Linden oaks back in December I was leery reading the reviews. I want to give a shout out to all the staff Dr kolowski therapist Jillian nurse Sean, but Mason Pablo Christian and Frank those are the names my son still speaks of weeks later as he says helped him get through he mentioned Mason yesterday even bought a pair of converse like Mason wears.. He did 3 weeks PHP and is now 1 week back in school.. I cannot thank you enough! ♥️ aka CHANCE

My first time here at Linden Oaks. I stayed at the inpatient facility, I truly feel I gained new skills and learned how to apply them in different situations. The staff was very nice and accommodating and listened to the patients and myself when needed. After reading some of the other reviews I feel like there is more positive than what was being written. I felt at home and was very comfortable being myself and highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this office. I have seen 3 doctors and now currently see Emily Jensen NP. All have been wonderful and actually care about getting to the root cause. The reason for my review is actually for someone from their administrative team. I had an issue this week and Barbara went way above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. I have never had a negative experience with this office! Thank you to the entire team!

Saving lives and keeping families together is what this place has done for many years people I knew personally and abroad. The number one thing is mental health. That includes substance abuse disorders. If you're not gonna be honest and aren't ready to get clean they ain't gonna put up with your crap. I'm so grateful they were tough. They've seen it all yall. Staff has been there for years. They actually care and they’re not for straight profits like other local places. Still the best in the area 3 years later.
