6 months sober and yall were right life truly does get better :) I came all the way from St. Louis and I felt nothing but love as soon as I walked in the doors. My first time in rehab and 4 hours from home the anxiety was real. Justin, Madison & Alexander truly gave me so many words of encouragement and life advice I will forever hold close to my heart. When I wanted to turn around and walk out those doors and they reminded me it was important to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations because that’s how I would grow. My counselor Angela was also amazing. She made me feel like she was my best friend and connected with me and made sure I truly felt seen. she didn’t seem to try to hard to do that either, it was just naturally done of her. All the workers there made sobriety look so cool. I will forever thank rosecrance for giving me my life back :)

I have seen some pretty nasty things written here about remedies and just want to clear some things up most of these poor reviews are from those under the influence of addiction and are angry because they won’t follow rules, firstly I know quite a few people who have been there long term (years) with no issues, including myself after years I was sent away one day for being 10 mins late it sucked but I was ok and didn’t oversleep again I learned a lesson, they treat everyone fairly but you have to do what your expected to do being fresh at sobriety is hard and their no pajamas and being there before 9am rules seems to be a big issue for most if you can’t be responsible for your basics how can you keep yourself clean? They will help but won’t make you do anything you won’t cooperate with! This is a rehabilitation center not a place to make friends so stay clean, keep away from others and mind the rules these simple things will take you far…..

The treatment provided by both Mike and Kim is beyond incredible, they have differing dynamics of counseling that complement eachother in ways that have helped me with so much more than alcoholism rehabilitation. From my experience, if you take the classes seriously and be honest with them, you can learn more about yourself and achieve a level of personal growth greater than a counselor or medication could ever provide.

I am understanding a bit more context that they don't bring forth immediately, but it is something that I sense. The facility needs more funding so they can grow and provide better support for people. It's not the people that work at the facilities fault it really isn't but rather they really need funding. Please be patient with the staff and emphasize with them. I implore people who attend there to be patient and understand their perspective They will not openly address it because of professional reasons... They are trying. Please be mindful of their needs as well. It's going to be difficult for everyone. đź–¤

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MONEY! They told me I was covered, then billed me anyway. I thought it must be a mistake. Then, when I drove 50 miles for my second appointment, they told me to get lost when I couldn't pay the bill for my first visit. I'm 60 years old. I have never in my life had a worse experience at a mental health clinic. PLEASE NOTE: all any of the negative reviews here get, is a canned response which tells you, "We do to care." If they cared, they wouldn't be treating their patients like piggy banks and responding to complaints with impersonal, canned garbage.

I was there in the 80s. Most memorable time of my childhood. Ended up being there for a year and a half. Even though it’s not a place I wanted to be. I have to say the staff that they had at the time where among the best. Some of the best friends I could’ve made. And with certain ones, I still keep in touch.

I was here in the 80's when it was a place to hold all the children DCFS didn't give back to their parents. I was a different case. My father didn't want me so I was thrown away. These 3 staff were my favorite Teresa and Tony Farrow and Ceola lablanc. I'm 48 now and I still remember the love I felt at 11/ and 12.

All the staff from the check in process to my primary care treat me well. I never feel like I am a burden to the nurses and to my doctor. They take the time to listen and find the best treatment for me. I recommend them highly when I am asked about who to go see for general health care .

Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. Now I have friends and people I really trust. Which is huge to me with my trust issues. Suncloud taught me that I cannot do this alone and showed me that I wasnt alone. For over 13 years, I struggled with addiction. Walking through the doors of Recovery Centers of America (RCA) a few months ago was the best decision I ever made. Today, I am proud to celebrate six months of sobriety. The staff at RCA are truly world-class. From the nurses, case managers and therapists to the cafeteria team, everyone treats you like family. The facilities—including the cottage living spaces and the massive gymnasium—are pristine, well-lit, and fully operational. What sets RCA apart is how they reintegrate "real life" into recovery. Beyond excellent group therapy, I participated in weekly softball games, open mic nights, "On the Other Side" milestones, and speaker events. We even had supervised outings to hockey games, movies, and bowling & pizza. These experiences proved to me that a sober life can be a full life. I want to thank the RCA team and my peers for being a vital part of my success.
