I am deeply grateful to Dr. Garth Summers, Dr. Blaise Waller, and the entire labor and delivery team for the exceptional care I received. On August 16th, I delivered my twin boys, Ozzy and Jameson, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. Dr. Summers expertise and calming confidence made it possible for me to have a natural delivery, even with my second twin arriving breech. His skill and judgment ensured a smooth and safe experience, and I could not have asked for better care. Both my husband and I hold Dr. Summers in the highest regard and are truly appreciative of him and his entire team.

Couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing birth experience I had. The nurses and doctors are genuinely the best. Dr. Goodejohn provided me with so much peace throughout my entire high risk pregnancy, L&D, & am extremely blessed she delivered my baby.. Dr. Summers is just as great & is very calm & reassuring. Nurses are very respectful and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, are very respectful about coming in for checks throughout the night, and privacy. Couldn’t recommend a better place all around!!!

A sliding fee scale is also available for c | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Cfr has literally changed my life in such positive ways I never thought were possible. I was an extremely lost and addicted individual. After 21 of my 34 years of life being helplessly addicted to a number of drugs and gambling my life away, I received a call. The lady on the phone said her name was Shea and asked if I was ready to get help. I don't think I went after that phone call but it got me thinking about my life and the second time she called I knew I needed to at least try, as I was literally on the brink of death. So I did I called my sister and had her take me to guide links.
Cfr saved my life that day and started me on my journey to living a sober life filled with happiness and endless support. My family has began trusting and supporting me as well and I know if it had not been for cfr I would not be where I am at today.
There were a number of individuals at CFR crucial in my successful recovery. Starting with all of the residential techs guiding me through my initial withdraws and struggle I endured while in residential. Successfully graduating me from that program.
Knowing I had a battle ahead of me cfr enrolled me into there IOP program where I'd like to give a shout out to the staff of all cfr. Nancy, Ronda, Hailey, Weller, and Lori you all have changed my life and I am forever grateful... I am 90 days sober today and happier than I ever thought possible.
I attend church every Sunday and also continue my recovery in eop through cfr. I have found happiness and sobriety thanks to all of you at CFR and only hope anyone out there struggling with addiction can also find you guys and receive this gift of a good life as I have.
I love you all and if there is anyway I could help in any way it would be my pleasure.
God bless you all, and thank you for giving me the tools I needed to succeed in my journey to sobriety.

Regarding the walk-in intake, So far I have done intake and the process for that was long. They started at 10am but I had already been there since 8:12am waiting. I was the last person they accepted that day totalling 4 of us. I had to wait until each person in front of me was done, about 45 mins to 1 hour each. I was there a total of about 5 hours beginning to end. At the end you schedule a follow-up and it was 3 weeks out. Once you check in theoretically you could leave but about 2 hours in the called me in to verify my financial info. So I just stayed.

The care that I received was spectacular. Yet, being in the ER overnight before a bed was available was interesting. To hear the staff at the counters and the Chief of Police comments about DEI was mind blowing, upsetting, and sad. The comments and how they felt were mean, ignorant, and callus about it made my time in the ER extremely uncomfortable while I was being treated by the kind nurses. I asked questions. The response I received was nothing less than racist. I was glad that I was treated by nurses that were professional, kind, and concerned about the care of a Veteran, but to the others, a disgrace. To compare DEI to Affirmative action was truly mind blowing and ignorance. That's just part of the conversations I've heard. SMH

I have been to the VA in St Louis New Orleans all over the country of many different VA's. Iowa City and Fayetteville Arkansas are probably two of the best. I only had one bad experience at Iowa City when an asshole doctor didn't want to do his job in the ER. But everyone else there is awesome. I've received more help from Iowa City than any other hospital or VA care facility in the country. I don't live in the area anymore but I still travel over 100 mi to use Iowa city's VA. To me it's the best.

He makes me feel great about my recovery and shows interest in my life choices. Thanks to the group that I attend by phone every Monday. It is ran by an awesome, no nonsense, counselor. Thanks to the wonderful staff members who greet me every morning with a smile. Thanks to the dosing nurses, who are, in my opinion, the best staff of dosing nurses that I've delt with in the 5 years that I've been coming here. I like to call them, "The Dream Team." Since they've been here, I get in and out in 5 minutes or less. I've also never seen a monthly get done in 15 minutes or less, until the Dream Team came along. That is impressive! Stay awesome ladies!! Thanks to the insurance companies. If you have Medicaid, you can get free cab rides to the clinic and back home every day, which I am absolutely thankful for. I live 40 miles away and it's expensive and sometimes hard to get to the clinic. I owe a huge thanks to, The Way Shuttle. For 2+ years, I've been riding with them and they are the best! I would recommend CRCTC to anyone who is struggling with addiction and is ready to get help. With the right choices, we can recover, one day at a time.

I have been to this hospital since I was a child and continue to be followed by great providers and no words can express how grateful I am for the care I have received and if I could give back in anyway I would. The doctors and nurses and pharmacists do what they can to provide the best care possible for patients and it clearly shows. I would like to thank transplant team and genetics for everything and continued care and support.
The reason I am giving 4 stars is because of aftercare from transplant team when it comes to medical insurance. They do their best and I fully respect and admire them for everything they do. When it comes to the nurse coordinators Sometimes patients need to guide them as they do not always know - depending on who is assigned to you. When it comes to dealing with medical insurance it has become so difficult especially for getting medications that are essential like Aranesp and other similar meds which are ridiculously expensive. The workaround should not be so difficult and I don’t know why there is sometimes hesitation from the team which is kind of frustrating. It’s understandable that no one likes to deal with insurance companies but this needs to improve.
