Absolutely the best !! We have received absolutely excellent care from the doctors and nurses the mission cancer center has among the best in Iowa. They are so caring and supportive. The surgeons, just wow!! Dr VanManen and Dr Kolmorgan and Dr Riggs are so awesome! They literally saved my wife’s life. I cannot say enough good things about the whole staff!

Cfr has literally changed my life in such positive ways I never thought were possible. I was an extremely lost and addicted individual. After 21 of my 34 years of life being helplessly addicted to a number of drugs and gambling my life away, I received a call. The lady on the phone said her name was Shea and asked if I was ready to get help. I don't think I went after that phone call but it got me thinking about my life and the second time she called I knew I needed to at least try, as I was literally on the brink of death. So I did I called my sister and had her take me to guide links.
Cfr saved my life that day and started me on my journey to living a sober life filled with happiness and endless support. My family has began trusting and supporting me as well and I know if it had not been for cfr I would not be where I am at today.
There were a number of individuals at CFR crucial in my successful recovery. Starting with all of the residential techs guiding me through my initial withdraws and struggle I endured while in residential. Successfully graduating me from that program.
Knowing I had a battle ahead of me cfr enrolled me into there IOP program where I'd like to give a shout out to the staff of all cfr. Nancy, Ronda, Hailey, Weller, and Lori you all have changed my life and I am forever grateful... I am 90 days sober today and happier than I ever thought possible.
I attend church every Sunday and also continue my recovery in eop through cfr. I have found happiness and sobriety thanks to all of you at CFR and only hope anyone out there struggling with addiction can also find you guys and receive this gift of a good life as I have.
I love you all and if there is anyway I could help in any way it would be my pleasure.

Regarding the walk-in intake, So far I have done intake and the process for that was long. They started at 10am but I had already been there since 8:12am waiting. I was the last person they accepted that day totalling 4 of us. I had to wait until each person in front of me was done, about 45 mins to 1 hour each. I was there a total of about 5 hours beginning to end. At the end you schedule a follow-up and it was 3 weeks out. Once you check in theoretically you could leave but about 2 hours in the called me in to verify my financial info. So I just stayed.

My experience with this VA has been excellent.
My paperwork was processed very quickly and care was established in a very timely manner.
The staff are knowledgeable helpful.
Unlike other VA's they do not play the "phone game" and call you back when you leave a voice mail.
Primary Care and nursing staff in this facility are excellent.

If it wasn't for this clinic and all the wonderful people there, my life would be in shambles. If it wasn't for Medicaid, I could never afford daily doses and if it wasn't for The Way Shuttle picking me up six days a week for almost 3 years straight, I wouldn't be where I am today. The best Neurologist in the state. Wasn't able to get answers for my daily seizures from the neurologist in Des Moines. After one visit to the university of Iowa and one MRI Dr.Greenlee had not only answers, but a solution, 2 months after that I was in the operating room undergoing a craniotomy. What's awesome about this hospital is that not even 20 minutes of me being in the hospital on Oct 3rd 2024 to Oct 7th 2024 the doctor that seen me found my disabilities way faster than any other doctor here in Michigan I hope I can talk to him to get what he found because Michigan can't find what that doctor found the reason why I was in he hospital was because of my roll over accident that ended my trucking career and my wife died last year can you guys please have that doctor send me what he found because my current doctor can't find anything

I have been using this clinic for a long time and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff has always been great and I've received the care I needed when I needed it. I feel the VA gets bad press because of a few isolated incidents and people giving bad reviews tend to be the loudest. I know of a few other veteran friends of mine that have had great service as well from the VA.

Very professional!! I went to two different places to do my evaluation for my court ordered for owi. The two places I went they truly didn't listen and were rude but this place was amazing!! I highly recommend! Jessica really listened to me and was extremely kind. She got my stuff over to the court and dot too really fast. If it wasn't for her I would still be stuck at a rude place with a councilor who was making me substance abuse classes for absolutely nothing but for my money. I can't thank this place enough and Jessica. My dad and I left this place crying in tears of joy because the horrible battle was finally over.
