Jamie was an amazing representative for YSS. Very helpful and a godsend. I was dumped off on the side of the road 700 miles from anything familiar to me and she picked me up from Marshalltown Police department and took me to the Bridge house in Ames where I was able to get a Greyhound bus ticket back to Dallas.

Friendly and caring staff. Anyone who gives this place a bad rating is just ignorant and disgruntled because they were ordered by the court to come here. Great experience

Other then it being a appointment only it's a nice location downtown and the people are very nice

They give you the necessary tools so you can overcome your addiction problem. Sometimes the process becomes very slow but it is worth it.

I had to take alcohol classes at Urban dreams December 2024, and I can honestly say it was a very positive experience. The staff at Urban Dreams were always professionals, respectful, and supportive, which made the process much easier to go through. Our Instructor, Kristen Steele, went above and beyond in every class. She was not only knowledgeable but also approachable, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and understood the material. Kristen shared a lot of valuable information that wasn't just about completing a requirement, but about really learning how alcohol can impact our lives and how to make better choices moving forward. I also had a substance abuse evaluation with Felicia Chumley, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She is one of the kindest, most attentive people I've met in this process. Felicia made feel completely comfortable from the start, which really helped me open up and be honest about my situation. Felicia made what could have been a stressful experience into something positive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend Urban Dreams to anyone who needs this classes or simply wants to gain more understanding about alcohol and its effects.

Took there owi class instructor Rachel was very positive all around good attitude very nice highly recommended if you need to take the owi class

I’m still alive ! I spent 30 days in prelude and loved the discussions and topics , we would meet with counselors each day and learned everyday coping skills . I even stopped smoking cigarettes too!! Made lifelong friends and attend meetings when I can . 3 years + sober for me !

This place Brought me to God and Jesus saved my life, this is not a 12 step program (it's better) give it a chance. It'll change your life for the Best if you really work it. I was a drug addict and alcoholic for a very long time and God saved me from all of my misery. And I couldn't have learned to live my life right if it wasn't for this amazing program. My life was unmanageable and I was looking for a way out of this life. God used a few people in my life to get me here to Sheepgate so he could begin a good work in my life that He will be able to use for His kingdom. Through Sheepgate God has restored me to His grace and His mercy and has restored my marriage and relationships with my children. There is always more to come, and as I keep myself set to what HE has instore for me today I just want you to know HE has that for you as well if you humble yourself and come seek God out for yourself. 48hr class instruction was next Level with Rachel as my instructor. Material was clear and poiniant. Natasha was amazing in her role as our security person. Highly recommend.

YSS saved my life, then gave me purpose in life. I was a very troubled kid, a burden on society, and my parents were at their wit's end. They were desperate when they turned to YSS. And while I fought it at first (couldn't stand authority), I eventually surrendered to the program/the process and my life turned 180 degrees. Today, as a person in long-term recovery, my purpose is to create hope and opportunities for others that are struggling. So very grateful to YSS, as they believed in me more than I believed in myself.
