You can feel the energy when you walk in the room the employees there I want more than greatness for you and if you pay attention and you look around and watch you can change your life. I salute pastor Ross absolute sister Ross they went out of the way to help me I had a horrible benzo addiction severe seizure and disorder and also have a crazy dietary regimen is where I can't meet and just rough after all that's why I went out of her way to make sure I had special protein shakes to get me through and then lose my sleeping they want to know me the greatest to do it respect on a level that I came to get into describe I love them all and it's family!

I was there when my BiPolar Disorder went into a major depression almost a year ago. I was extremely suicidal. They were very caring and helped me to start to come out of it. It wasn't all medication. It was therapy and classes too. The staff is awesome!

I have been attending therapy sessions with Dr. Alicia Moran. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is. I will say that our sessions are not always easy - she consistently challenges me to think differently, alas, allowing room for growth.... if I so choose to rise to the challenge and not allow myself to wallow in a victimized mindset. My marriage was a wreck. I had been to other counselors in the area. I just didn’t see any positive results from the level of care that I was receiving. I felt hopeless and that my marriage was over. A friend of mine could see my struggles and asked me to give New Hope counselors a try. I had never heard of them before. With nothing to lose, I made an appointment and am so thankful that I did. I have been going for a while now and life is getting better. There is still work to do, but I am getting better. My marriage is getting better. The kids are not as distant from me as they were before. My counselor really connected with me. They explained hard truths to me so that I could understand them and accept them to begin healing myself and my family. I really felt a personal connection at New Hope and I believe that is what helped me the most. I felt like my counselor was really interested in me and my situation. Not just treating me the same as everyone coming in their door.

I’m not sure what else to say. The staff here including the entire treatment team, has taken a personal interest in my development in a way that no other organization ever has. The services here are outstanding, and the curriculum is second to none. It’s rare that you find an organization that LIVES & BREATHES its mission statement, in every single thing that they do.
After years of struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorder, I now feel more free than ever, and best of all, I have the skills, knowledge, and positive habits to STAY free.
A very special thank you to Allison for helping pair me with the best possible program for my SPECIFIC NEEDS; Hacky for making sure I was brought into Roaring Brook with dignity, care, encouragement, and for always being a positive force and a smiling face; Keith for being the best peer support anyone could ask for; Kara the case manager for taking a genuine interest in helping me jump hurdles that I couldn’t jump alone; Hillary for paying attention to my needs and helping tailor my program in a way that’s both best for me and sustainable, and for regularly using my input to affirm these choices; and my therapist Jarrod, who is a psychological wizard and is by for the best mental health and wellness practitioner I have ever encountered.

This is my second time at Roaring Brook, and honestly, when I relapsed after two years of sobriety, I refused to go anywhere else. I’m from Michigan, so choosing to come all the way back to Kentucky says a lot about how much I trust this place and the people here. I knew that if I was going to get serious about my recovery again, Roaring Brook was where I wanted to be.
Coming back a second time has only reinforced how grateful I am for this program. Relapse was incredibly difficult for me to accept after having two years of sobriety, but Roaring Brook gave me a place where I could be honest about where I was at, work through what happened, and actually focus on rebuilding my recovery instead of feeling judged for it.
This time around, I was also able to participate in TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program), and it has made such a huge difference in my recovery. TRP has given me the opportunity to work through traumas that I hadn’t fully dealt with and understand how those experiences have affected me and my recovery. I’ve also learned actual coping skills that I can use when things get difficult instead of turning back to old behaviors. It has been a really important part of my healing and has helped me understand myself on a much deeper level.
My experience with my therapist, Jarrod, has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve gotten so much out of treatment. He is genuinely one of the smartest and most thorough therapists I’ve ever worked with. He doesn’t just listen to respond — he really takes the time to understand what I’m saying, asks questions that make me think, and helps me connect the dots in ways I wouldn’t have been able to on my own. I’ve learned so much from working with him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the work he’s done with me.
I’m also incredibly grateful for Alison, who manages the sober living I’m in. She is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about the people in the house and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the support, structure, and accountability we need. Having that continued support outside of treatment has made a huge difference for me.
What stands out most about Roaring Brook is that I never feel like I’m just another person going through a program. There are people here who genuinely care about my recovery and want to see me succeed. Being willing to travel from Michigan back to Kentucky for treatment, especially after a relapse, was a huge decision, but I know I made the right one.
I’ll always be grateful that Roaring Brook was there for me not only the first time I got sober, but also when I needed help finding my way back. Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and I’m thankful to have found a place where I can keep growing, healing, learning, and becoming a better version of myself. I truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

The staff is great and my experience was beyond what I imagined. Food is great. Place is clean! Plenty of space! Visits on weekends . Movie nights with candy, popcorn, and pop once a week!! Therapists are great , and staff is there for you! I miss and love everyone I met here. They really care about you. We did many activities to remind us that there is life outside of the toxic substances we leaned on. I hope whoever is needing to hear this is reading. You can make a beautiful life for yourself. My name is Keith markland. I just got out of stepworks January 9. I am very grateful they helped me get a second chance because without them I would hate to think where I would be now. I learned so much while I was there and each and every staff member were there to help me. It has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. Since I have returned home I am still doing great. So I Went through Edgewater Which is now ARIA same staff it is a phenomenal program with phenomenal people. They introduced me to narcotics anonymous which is a program. I never had tried before and just recently got two years clean. They sent me up for the beginning to stay clean. It is the only place I’ve ever seen where when you get to go to meetings you’ll see the staff there and they treat you like family not a number. I also used to work for the same program, which is ARIA and both experiences were phenomenal. I highly recommend this if you want to change your life it changed mine. I went in broken with a backpack of dirty clothes and no options. They gave me resources and taught me a new way to live within that two years of me being clean, I’ve got my own place on car own tags on insurance living like an adult and it’s all thanks to the beginning from what you taught me

The schwartz center was the second treatment center that I've been to, and despite some of the negative reviews here, I found it to be nothing but love.
All of the staff really cares about you and your recovery, like all rehabs there are some. Rules and structure that not all clients will agree with. But it's just how it goes, they are very simple. Rules.
They feed you well while there too.
And the case manager is amazing, she helped me out big time with some court stuff that I was dealing with.
It's also a smaller more intimate setting. Not one of these massive rehabs where you can't learn anything or get individualized treatment from a therapist.
Definitely recommend the team at Schwartz if you're wanting to better your life

My experience with this clinic has been nothing but fantastic. The staff here are very patient, respectful and friendly. I have had a few counselors. I would complain but I have really liked each one, and look forward to my sessions. The staff is wonderful they actually care and try to help you out w you ask for help and they have people who come and spend one on one time with us and provide the information we need to find housing......help w bills.

I have never been more grateful for a program, such as this. I came into y’all‘s program October 2024 and I graduated March 2025 I signed up to continue aftercare and go to serenity. I done what was needed to continue my care and I moved into the apartment October of this year. You guys had gave me the tools that I have needed to be able to succeed in my recovery. Because of you guys, I have custody of my son and I am mending relationships with My Other three kids . I was so stressed about Christmas as my son was picked by Angel Tree and I only got one present and I didn’t have the money to be able to provide for My Other three. And last minute you guys came through with more than what I needed. I am so grateful for you guys if you are struggling and you want custody of your children this is the place to go. They have awesome staff members and therapists, and I believe in my heart if I would’ve went anywhere else things wouldn’t have turned out the way they have for me today and today I’m stable. I am in my own home with my son. I have a job and I’m learning to live like a normal human being.

For those who are hurting, in darkness, lost- there is Hope. I recently completed their Long Term Treatment Program for alcoholism, drug addiction, and mental health disease. I realize today, God spared my "life", for Revive Ministries to help rebuild it! My wife, children, and family relationships are restored too! Through a belief in God, willingness, honesty about myself, and an open-mind to try something new, I am sober today!

Ive been going here for a while and Ive seen a lot of changes over the years but recently things just feel so much better. Most of the staff is new which is a really good thing. I can tell they actually care about me and its not just a job for them. There for a while they had me talking to people on a computer which yeh that did kinda suck not to be able to talk to someone in person, but now they have people in person that I get to talk to. I really enjoy that. I think they still have some on the computer but I think its just on certain days. The groups are really fun too and Im learning more about myself then I used to. Bottom line is if u wanna go somewhere where people care about you and will help you get the help that you are ready to get then go here.
