This place is extreme however, the circumstances that led me to the ranch.. they were quite extreme, and I would say that this place saved me. At the very least it taught me how to live correctly.

The property is gorgeous, they have a lake with fish in it, a basketball court and acres of land, the house it’s self is pretty luxurious and they serve good quality home made food. I have been stuck in the never ending cycle of treatment for six years now. I have been to countless places that baby you and coddle you to death and focus on teaching people how to simply think better but never focus on the application of new behavior. Luckily, Liberty Ranch is much more focused on teaching people how to actually act better. If you want to turn your life around for good come to The Liberty Ranch and they will be your best bet to making a life long change. I am a year sober and have found some serenity and joy in life I believe that is in big part due to The Ranch and the people that run it. I would recommend it to anyone needing help for substance abuse and alcoholism.

Liberty Ranch has been the corner stone for my push to long term recovery. It is different than your average "cookie cutter" treatment. They deal with the real underlying issues and character defects that keep us in relapse mode.
I originally came here for 30 days and now going on 7 months in this program. I came here from California and have witnessed the benefits of the program working in my life. The property is beautiful and there are dogs there for that extra love and support! Highly recommend this place if you are serious about your sobriety. I am excited to get back to my family and friends. Excited for a start to a whole new life!

Crossroads has been great! I moved here about 4 years ago and had to transfer and they have been by far the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been going to Crossroads since May 2024. This is NOT just some clinic, they are Family. They truly care about you and how your doing, physically, mentally... this place know's you on a first name basis, my counselor's name is Sam and theirs not enough space to compliment this woman so highly, I told her on such a high pedestal! We relate from her past addictions and she gets me in a way that's soo beautiful and I'm so truly grateful/BLESSED I found this place..... I went to the ER on 11/26 with a fluttering in my chest. I have extensive heart history so I do not take chances. As soon as I got there the nurses and doctors were very kind. I'm from NY and the difference couldn't have been more clear. All normal tests I've had were run and they ran a CT scan which was beyond comforting for me. They made me feel comfortable, answered my questions and concerns especially since I'm from out of state traveling alone. The nurse was nice enough to help me get back to my RV after I was discharged by arranging a ride.

LCRH is one of the best hospitals I’ve dealt with. The doctors and nurses are so nice and helpful. I’ve been to the pain clinic, the CT department, surgery, and the ER.
The pain clinic helped change my life as I can lift my arm now. The CT department was quick and patient. The surgery department was super wonderful with all the nurses, doctors, students, etc. I was in and out and felt cared for. The ER was also fast for how busy they were and I felt comfortable and listened to.
The billing department is a mess, but I’ve managed to get that fixed lol.

My mom had a recent 5 day stay at LCRH and we have nothing but good things to say about the care she received. Every Doctor, Nurse, and CNA she had from the ER to PCU to the Medical floor were so kind and caring. They took great care of her and of our entire family. In early August of this year (225), I was one of the rare patients to have bilateral total knee replacement at Ephraim McDowell. With so many low ratings and negative reviews, I was concerned about having it there. However, it is where the surgeon works and it is close to home.
The bottom line is that this was by far the most outstanding hospital experience I have ever had for myself or by others such as family and friends that I have seen! They were great in every way:
- Communication: a couple weeks prior to the procedure, they had me and my wife attend a class where they reviewed every aspect of what to expect before, during and after surgery. They provided a binder with all of that and more. At the hospital, they continually kept me and my family informed of throughout the experience.
- Professionalism: I was brought back as scheduled, delt with respectfully and politely yet with the personalness I have come to expect and enjoy in Danville.
- Responsiveness: After I was admitted following surgery, any and every time I pressed the call button, a nurse or tech would either immediately respond over the intercom and/or come into the room within literally a few minutes. They took care of my needs with kindness and compassion. They were truly a pleasure to deal with!
- Cleanliness/hygiene: This is my area of expertise. I am recently retired, but my profession included assessing hospitals for regulatory compliance as well as performing to industry standards as it relates to cleaning and hand hygiene for infection prevention. Ephraim McDowell would have certainly received my highest score! It is as clean as any hospital I have ever seen, including restrooms, non-public areas, the operating suites and patient rooms. I watched a few of the Environmental Services techs as they cleaned. The products and procedures they used were excellent!
- Results: The surgery was a total success and now that a few months have passed, I am mostly recovered and enjoying the benefits of my new knees! The surgeon, Dr. Jeremy Tarter, was awesome, couldn't have been better! The PT I received from Ephraim McDowell Home Health and at the McDowell Center was excellent and effective.
I know my experience was better than so many others that left negative reviews, so they must have improved since those were posted. I am totally grateful for how outstanding everyone at Ephraim McDowell was in making sure my surgery went well and my experience was positive!

I was taken here when I had my heart attack the ER was packed. The Doctors and Nurses in the ER did a great job. The team that put my stents together in made me feel like I was going to be ok and opened back up my 100% blocked artery. I had to stay 2 days in ICU the nurses were so nice and supportive really made me feel safe. Now the reason I didn’t give 5 stars the food was awful everything was cold that was supposed to be hot was was ment to be cold was Luke warm

This place will forever have a special spot in my heart. The employees saved my life every single day for 30 days. The therapists are also something to not overlook, they go WAY above and beyond to educate what's really going on with our minds and body. I've been through 4 recovery centers, two in Kentucky one in California and then this one. This is the only one I can truly say that they take this lifestyle seriously and the presence of a higher power flows through every body in the house. I wouldn't recommend any other place. I have been to this treatment centers at least 3 times and the e town facility twice. I’ve been to treatment as a controlled environment for this program over 40 times. But for 7 months through an implant in my ear I have had to listen to 2 or 3 people in my ear for 24/7 mostly about my ex boyfriend who the program hired to mess with me as well. Every treatment center and sober living I have been in for 7 years has participated all my so called friends, family, even bf were brought into it. I’m harassed about every trauma or horrible experience they could create or find out about. This was a good place but I hit 4 treatment centers in 4 weeks because they went too far stressing me with the voices in my ear canal as well as the clients and staff they recruited to play games while my thoughts broadcasted to the people around me. For the government to issue whatever for hips to be violated and them to enter a rehab for research grounds or court order is all that could do it. It’s been 17 years of nastiness especially the last 7 years but they hired my bf to leave me and play games with me so the voices in my ear could non stop torture me with him and how he took a job to leave me. The truth is they have had me isolated and single for 17 years and they had to get me lit and him away from me to be able to do this stressed out miserable research on me. So they brought him into the group payed to monitor me to get him away and make me feel miserable and isolated and they make sure I know it was about money from my boyfriend or ex I guess since I get a vague wish washy text ever 2 to 3 days to string me along so they can keep torturing me about him.how much money did it take. Why after I find someone after 17 years did you destroy it? Thanks for your part Stepworks London this was the second fight in 4 centers I had been to in 4 weeks. Crown was playing and Lackey and SouthShore RW in the past 6 weeks this program was even brought into the AA meetings I attended and my Clinicians were up to it too

I would highly recommend Roaring Brook. The staff here met me where I was at but didn't leave me there. Through the group therapy they shown me the importance of community, through peer support we was able to target flaws in my time management and through the counseling I've been able to recognize and deal with past hurts and learn and understand my emotions. I love this rehab center. From the moment I got here, the staff were super accommodating and helpful with my needs all the way from detox to programming and therapeutic needs. They were friendly and the services were plentiful. The food was great and I love the therapeutic rehabilitative environment they provided. I love STEPWORKS in Nicholasville, KY. My therapist was Alaina and she was such an amazing, caring, listener when I needed her. She is highly compassionate and intelligent in her field. She knew everything I needed her for and never let me down. Jen, the Facility Administrator, is such a sweetie. She listened and gave me great advice. The staff is truly emphatic. They have various addiction backgrounds and knew all the right things to say. They gave me advice I will keep with me forever. Duke, the amazing Duke. I will miss that little guy with all my heart. "Puppy!" is such an outgoing ESA dog. He loves everyone he meets and for being 9ish years old is still the king of his castle. He is so loving and a great fit to keep love in the air there. Having Duke there to lend his 4 legged care and compassion makes StepWorks such a loving place. Some might say they wanted to leave or they didn't like being there. Those people didn't finish the program or take it seriously. I wanted to leave numerous times, but after a while it wasn't because of the program, but issues I was having mentally. After talking with the staff and doing the much needed changes to myself mentally, I realized it was me and not them. You have to take the program seriously to benefit from it. You have to follow the rules, be involved with the classes, do your chores appropriately... All to gain what is needed to live the sober life. Don't use the program as a way to have shelter, food, utilities, to meet a lover. You will not gain what you need to keep from being a statistic. Do as your supposed to, and you will leave there a new person and a changed sober person. I did and I'm not looking back. Thank you StepWorks for all you did for me. Amazing facility. The staff are awesome people. I was a mess when I got there and was way less than my best self. The staff gave me grace and space to process without judgement and with respect. They treat you like a person not a child or an inmate. If you need help this is the place to get it. I don't think I would've made it anywhere else.

Upon arrivngl at Lexington Addiction Center(LAC) I was greeted with friendly staff that was awaiting my arrival. At first I was nervous because I was 500 miles away from home and didn't know anyone, but as I started to settle in things got easier. I shared a house with about 10 others that was in recovery just like me. The house was clean and well furnished. I had the opportunity to attend AA meetings 5 times a day which in part helped with my sobriety. My case manager kerstin was very helpful in assisting me with issues that I was going through at home as well as housing and giving me overall information that I needed to secure housing. I can't say enough how LAC has helped me. I appreciate all the staff for assisting me through this journey. If you are thinking about going to LAC please do so with an open mind and ready to get on the road to recovery, this place is really great!
