My dad was hospitalized and admitted from Ochsner St Ann ER & had no issues or complaints. The staff on med surg 3 were amazing. His nurse Holly was super amazing & was very genuine & kind. More nurses need to be like her ! She deserves a daisy award for how well she treated my family like her own. His CNA Tammy was also amazing! Coming from someone who works at another hospital nearby… our care was truly amazing with St. Anne & we couldn’t have asked for better!

This review is for the WOUND CARE DEPARTMENT. After visiting five different places and feeling unheard, my experience with the wound care team was such a relief. Dr. Amber and all the nurses were absolutely amazing. They genuinely listened, showed empathy, and made me feel cared for during an incredibly difficult time. After everything I had been through, it meant so much to finally receive the kindness, compassion, and care I needed. I’m truly grateful to Dr. Amber and the entire nursing team! ❤

While the accommodation itself isn't ideal, I have to recommend the ED/TR specialty unit based on its staff. They were so kind and patient with me throughout my entire stay of a whopping 29 days. Special thank you to Cody, Mika, Jameicka, Rose, Abbie, Ray, Tiana, Amie, Ashley, Armani, Dr. Peterson, the dietitians, and all of the therapists I interacted with. I think the major issues with this facility are the result of some systemic issues, unfortunately beyond the control of most. I was in the ED program and there was a definite lack of ED-specific professionals during meal groups, which creates a situation where the patients need to take additional accountability to ensure their meal plan is accurately followed. If more techs could be trained on how these disorders function, and how to better support individuals during mealtimes, I think this program would benefit greatly. In addition, the food and accommodation need some serious upgrades, particularly with cleanliness and air conditioning issues (the AC went out multiple times during my stay). The program can definitely be beneficial if you put in the work!

I was in the specialty here and overall it was a good experience, the staff for the most part was amazing. However I did get a pinched nerve from the terrible mattresses which caused me severe pain to the point where I was in tears, and I felt very dismissed. I felt like my pain wasn't taken seriously which is disappointing because its been about two weeks and I am still suffering and will most likely need physical therapy because of it. The nurse even dismissed me when I suggested that it was nerve related saying "there are no nerves in that part of your body". Aside from that I had a very beneficial experience here and really have no other complaints which is why I'm so disappointed by the way the whole situation was handled. Its hard to be present in therapy when you're in 8/10 pain.

I had a good experience during my stay at the hospital. I think I was on unit 4000. The people there helped me a lot and treated me with kindness. Brittany, the Recreation Therapist, was very nice, patient, and friendly. She even helped me get some clothes when I didn't have any and I really appreciated that. She always had a smile on her face and made me feel comfortable. I don't remember the name of the patient advocate, but she was friendly too. She was always smiling and willing to help. Both of them made my stay better, and I am thankful for everything they did for me.

The East Jeff Care Clinic is one of my family’s favorite places to go to since 2017 simply because we are taken care really well starting from the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, and the lab technicians, and also the pharmacists. The receptionists are very helpful when it comes to providing information regarding sliding scale for paying not so much money for doctors and medicines if you have low income. They also provide you the phone numbers to reach Medicaid, where you couldn’t find that nowhere else easily. The Doctors and nurses really know what they’re doing proven that my mom, wife, and I still survive because of the effort to advise us on what to do with our health and which medicines really work for us. If something is not right, they’re going to adjust our medicines ASAP and finally the medicines really react well to our immune body systems. In case of an emergency, they are always available welcoming us by walk in. They also have a pharmacy called Genoa Pharmacy which is inside the clinic. They make it so easy to get the medicines either by short waiting, calling us if the medicines are ready to be picked up, or sending it to our house. There’s also a lab to do blood work to check everything about your health and organs. There’s also a case worker to get you a job and also information as a medium to provide you with quality care services with drivers picking you in and out of the location regarding mental health. The clinic is also so clean and comfy and also there’s a security to protecting you from all sorts of bad stuff.

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. Idk what all these people’s problems are with the 1 star but I’ve been going here for years and have never had a problem. Staff at the front desk are always pretty nice. The only thing I’ve had an issue with was sometimes the appointments run late so I’m waiting in the waiting room a while but I feel like that’s how doctor appointments can be with mental health anything can come up. But ever since coming here it’s been the easiest to get my medications that I need on the daily and they do seem to care unlike what some people have said. The lady that left a review about them “calling” ICE, maybe you should have proper documentation and you wouldn’t feel that way.

At this place, no one cares if you get your meds on time or not. The only good thing here is about three nurses, who do all they can, but their work is not enough, they do as much as they can. This center is a joke, the worst clinic ever!

Kim, Dionne, Monique, Michelle, Yvonne and Yasmin go above and beyond. My elder loved one has had issues with being suicidal and violent. The staff handled it with grace and understanding. When my loved one was threatening staff they used gentle redirection and accountability. Doctors try to manage meds as best as possible but it's so hard on a 14day PEC. Only criticism is that MDs couldn't give her more time for med adjustments and stability of mood. I know a lot of people have elder family members who go through mental health challenges but in this area? Have gone through a few with my loved one. Perimeter is okay too, very caring people but the physicians at Perimeter did not do as much as the physicians at Oceans have done! Out of several hospitals and mental health facilities the physicians at Oceans have been the only ones willing to treat her mental challenges by observing and watching. Making changes through medication management and obverving again. Beacon team in Metarie are amazing (ask for Katherine). But AVOID BEACON IN LACOMBE!!! They will put your loved one in an unsafe discharge situation. Avoid social worker Shaun. Oceans? They would never do that. It's not 5 star, but take it from someone who definitely understands family/ patient challenges-- Have faith in Oceans. They will surprise you.

The East Jeff Care Clinic is one of my family’s favorite places to go to since 2017 simply because we are taken care really well starting from the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, and the lab technicians, and also the pharmacists. Hi my name is Oliver Allen and first off i would like to give thanks to my higher power and the staff at Nola Detox. Before coming in i was weak and beat down. My weight was down to about 130, 50 to 60 pounds below my usual weight. When i walked through those sliding doors i was to weak to even stand and for three days had to use a wheel chair. When those three days were up i hit the ground running making it to all my meetings and working out using the faciliities equiptment. On my arrival i was greeted with smiles from the front desk receptionist Kendra and also greeted with open arms from all the staff. They said things like im glad youre here and you made it to the right place because we are going to take good care of you.I will forever be grateful for the way i was greeted and the way i was treated for my entire stay. I would personally like to thank Cedric, Dan and Mr.Chris for bringing such a great thing to New Orleans. Saving lives daily and helping people to believe in themselves. This place is so special to myself and my entire family. There are so many loving staff members that treat everyone like family. I’m blessed to be connected to these people and this organization. But let me tell you…. There’s one staff member and she knows who she is…. We love you dearly!!! Let me just say, I could have never done this without you guys. My stay here was more than accommodating, the staff are unmatched, and the counselors are literally lifesaving. I believe woodlake is a amazing place. It gave so much back to those who were lost,and I think it's stupid for anyone to say anything else about this program. Kevin keeps it real and shows all of us our problems so we can become what we are suppose too. Thanks for being there for me when I was broken. Always and forever grateful.

Woodlake center is the best place for anyone to get treatment and recovery.the staff has people who really care about the people they help and understand how to help them put there life back together.they have Education on Tuesday night that helps everyone stay grounded in the program.And Kevin James for which anyone who is serious about changing there life,listening and understanding this man is the key to recovery.If not for him I would not be alive today.thanks Woodlake for be there when I needed them...
