There isn't enough space to say how I feel about Lake Wellness. I woke up on 9/10/23 and decided to reach out to them via online. I filled out a form and was called within minutes offering help. I honestly could not do it by myself. The staff there is exceptional. The counselors there were exceptional. And the doctor very caring. Everytime I went in I felt like I was walking into home and knew I was safe. Thank you so much Lake Wellness, yall saved my life!!!!!

They gave us the best care ever, the was my first time at this hospital & i definitely would recommend others to go deliver here as well. They listen to you, & everytime you need something their there. They are absolutely the best team ever. On April 10th, I went to St. Charles Hospital to get an angiogram by Dr. Iftakhar( He's a great doctor). When I arrived, Lynette registered me into the hospital then Jodie, Shawn, Ashley and Courtney F. guided me through the procedure. This entire staff was friendly, courteous, and compassionate. I'd recommend this hospital to anyone!

Palmetto is the best treatment center in Louisiana by far. Stuart, Jerry, Joseph and Beck have certainly changed my life for the better. I would say that they gave me a life. A second chance! I was recently an inpatient in the trauma treatment program at River Oaks Hospital. Unfortunately, the trauma treatment program seems to be somewhat undervalued. Upon admission, one receives a manual with the rules and expectations while inpatient. I would say at least a good 30-45% of those rules are not followed, for example, it is stated in the manual that all groups are mandatory, however, patients pick and choose which groups they want to attend with no repercussions. It can be disruptive for people who would like to do their work. Because there are also military members receiving treatment, those patients have less incentive to complete assignments and so forth because they are automatically approved for a 28 day stay. For those of us who come in on private insurance that gets reviewed weekly, it can be discouraging, especially when paying out-of-pocket co-pays per day.
The eating disorder program also seems to be much better regulated and consistent. The lack of consistency for the trauma program is obvious.
At the same time, there are many members of the staff that are caring and supportive. I felt I was able to receive competent, helpful care while I was there. If you’re really interested in doing the work, you quickly determine who will be helpful and who is not. If you want to really help yourself, you’ll take advantage of those people, and you will benefit from your time there.

This program was very educational and supportive during my personal recovery journey. I met some really wonderful people, staff were friendly and caring. Paul was my counselor and I can’t say enough about his true compassion and gentle yet eye opening approach in both his group classes and our individual sessions. He takes his time and genuinely seems to want to be there, helping his clients. We did 2 family sessions that really helped my husband and I improve our communication. Dr. Caudill is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve ever been treated by- his bedside manner is awesome. I learned a lot about myself in 9 weeks and became much more involved in the AA program thanks to Alchemy offering on site AA meetings weekly. The group sessions allow you to “check in”, learn a topic, and receive support if you’re needing to process something difficult. At the end of treatment you have the opportunity to share your personal story which was a big weight off my shoulders sharing where I’ve been and where I am now. The certificate and chip they give you upon graduation are a really special way to celebrate completing the program. I give this outpatient rehab 5 stars for friendliness, professionalism, effectiveness and even enjoyment. Thank you Alchemy, I’ll never forget this experience and most of all, thank you for helping me seize my life back.

I had the best experience here! I have tried 2 other IOPs in the area, this one is by far the best. This company really cares and they really helped me. The entire staff is kind and efficient. The doctor on staff is excellent and encouraging. I learned so much from my counselors and my group mates. I came to this place the 19th of December 2024. It was a nice facility! They treated me with respect and compassion. The techs/nurses played bingo with us, we did arts and crafts, they took us outside for fresh air, they were all for the most part very professional and caring! A few people stood out to me. I was on the quiet wing and made friends while I was there. I am so very thankful for the staff at this place!!!

Kim, Dionne, Monique, Michelle, Yvonne and Yasmin go above and beyond. My elder loved one has had issues with being suicidal and violent. The staff handled it with grace and understanding. When my loved one was threatening staff they used gentle redirection and accountability. Doctors try to manage meds as best as possible but it's so hard on a 14day PEC.
Only criticism is that MDs couldn't give her more time for med adjustments and stability of mood. I know a lot of people have elder family members who go through mental health challenges but in this area? Have gone through a few with my loved one.
Perimeter is okay too, very caring people but the physicians at Perimeter did not do as much as the physicians at Oceans have done! Out of several hospitals and mental health facilities the physicians at Oceans have been the only ones willing to treat her mental challenges by observing and watching. Making changes through medication management and obverving again.

I actually love bayou oaks and the staff I socialize with there like any other mental health facility they go through crisis just as we do but they work soo hard on fixing it, and making sure that the clients needs are being met

I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. The best treatment facility I've been to. It was one of the best experiences I've had and really made me truly enjoy being sober and showed me how much more I could enjoy life without substances; it was life changing really. The staff there is phenomenal and attentive I couldn't have asked for a better support system while I was there and also up to today. They gave me hope for a better future and helped me get to where I am today.

Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I left Narconon in September of 2022.
I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family.
Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members.
This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve.
From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives.
The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself.
I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias.
Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1?
Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to.
