07/12/24 I almost died from Pancreatitis from my drinking. It’s a scary thing checking yourself in to a place like that. I was welcomed with open arms. The first person to sit down and talk to me one on one, pick my brain if you will before I started classes was Mr. Bill from RSS and Big Dan one of the instructors there. And Miss Holly big shout out to her for helping me get my meal plan back together I was a bodybuilder. Big Dan always talked with intensity and passion as a former addict. I had a recent bender and the first thing that happened when I walked in I shook Mr. Bills hand said long time no see, no judgement he said you hungry and fed me. Next day saw Big Dan with guilt I said I’m sorry I’m back but I’m happy to see you. We got talking a bit I sat down in the very first class I had with him and it was so raw and real, vulnerable even about his experiences. I hope this review does good for people looking for help. And I help they all see this knowing how much good they truly give to people and help they give to the world. From the last time I was there the amount my life changed has been leaps and bounds for the best. I recognized I made an error I immediately sought help. Got it immediately and can’t wait to never go back, but also to see how much farther I’ll go and achieve after this experience for the better.

Just finished a twenty eight day program this week. Ashley, the staff, PSAs (especially Gavin) helped me to finally grasp the severity of my disease and my spiritual condition. This place saved my life! From the time I walked through the door just three days after my suicide attempt I felt SAFE and with folks who understood what was going on. Once home I realized that I wasn’t 100%. After three weeks home I returned on my own. Today I can proudly say that I have helped several others enjoy the life after The Hog! The Harbor of Grace helped me gain valuable tools to help with my depression and SI. The staff taught me that it is OK to not be ok and that it is more than acceptable to ask for help in a time of crisis. I would recommend that any first responder going through a difficult time with eother substance abuse or mental health issues to buy in to your own treatment and allow Harbor of Grace to assist you in that treatment.

As a Veteran myself who recognizes privacy issues, I can't share names, but a family member has been staying here. Despite the poor rating of this VA Facility, he states that his treatment has been consistent, the staff has been friendly, and the other patients get along well with no drama. What's sad is that so many veterans have no idea that this hospital is available for the treatment of PTSD, Drug/Alcohol Addiction, Bi-Polar Disease, Anxiety and more - for FREE. Meetings are available daily, and in addition to psychological assistance, medical physicians are available too. The hospital is spotless, you can choose the food you'd like to eat for 3 meals a day, and it tastes 😋 good. TVs 📺 aren't in the room, but they are in the Dayroom, along with pool tables, etc. It's even open to Veterans from other states. Sometimes it's difficult to admit the need for help, but hopefully, someone will take the time to read this and reach out.

I love this VA Center. The staff are excellent! The Physician assigned to me is great. Whenever I have a medical problem, I get an appointment at a reasonable time and they listen to the symptoms I have and do a great job getting to the route cause. The amount of time it takes for labs, x-rays, and MRIs is phenomenal. Words cannot express how thankful I am for their service.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years, and I can easily say I’ve never had a problem. The staff is always welcoming, and, I mean Every single day you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and a “good morning”. The people who have negative things to say about this place are the ones who don’t follow the simple “rules” (basically watch your language, & once a month give a urine/see your counselor).

Wanted to start off by saying ATOM! was a very huge part of my road to recovery. They helped me so many ways show me love, Supported me even when I was being an asshole. I completed this program three times Because the program works, I just wasn’t ready and still did what I wanted to do. The things that they taught me the love they showed me in the support that I got made me realize that people do care that I am not alone. My counselor did an amazing job. The director did an amazing job. The groups were amazing. The houses were amazing. The areas were amazing the activities we did were very helpful. It taught me a lot and here. I am now four years later still clean and I work here now I must say I honestly do understand that life is not perfect. A lot of people has to grasp the fact that no program is perfect. They will give you the tools, but you have to put in your own footwork. Nobody should fight for your life as hard as you and I fought for mine so I wanna see. I just had chance to review FSH. I was admitted to FSH OCT 2024. I was treated for an autoimmune disease that was unknown at the time. This autoimmune affected my ability to walk. FSH treated my condition to the point that I was able to be discharged to home care. I'm thankful for their PT and OT care that was provided to me by medstar home care which allows me to walk again. I would especially like to thank Dr. James Haas and Dr Ahmed for the care that was give to me during my stay.

This review is for the BD HEALTH LOCATED AT 6706 Holabird Ave. That's the one I pulled up to review but I noticed it's coming up under the wrong location...I really like everyone here they've always been so nice and supportive! Natasha who does the testing here is extremely caring kind and just genuinely likes helping others. She's collected clothes shoes and more for those in need. You really saved me from a lot of pain I appreciate you always being up front and real . I can't imagine the lives you touch and how many others you help. You have Mrs. Rhonda another amazing women who was my counselor before. And Jess the nurse is the sweetest she can always make you smile . Gabby that pretty face you see when you walk in such a doll I love talking with her.. Not only do all these women do there jobs they make the time you are there comfortable and they actually treat you like a human being not a junkie . I have seen people dissing the Dr I don't know why she does her job . She's not rude she just does her job so I don't see why people are making bad comments about her.. I was upset the other day and regret making the review that I had that isn't how I truly feel I was just taking my anger out and that's not like me I believe in the if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all .. I apologize for my recent post I was just upset over the situation and instead of being the adult I am I was a child for a moment. But I realize that my anger and stupidity looks poorly upon this business which does not deserve anything poorly said about them when they are a good place too go get help with amazing employees inside. I started going here when they originally opened. In fact I started the second day they opened. I really like this place. The owners (Jason & MOSHA) really care and do whatever they can to help you better yourself and become successful. They have went above and beyond my expectations. After about 9 years I transferred to another location of theirs. At that location I received the same level of treatment. I can’t recommend this place enough !!!

Finding a mental health care facility is very daunting and I have been with Cassie for a long time and I just have to say she is incredible and works really well with me. A lot of really great options for remote therapy. I cannot say or stress enough how great it is to have found a great therapist.

I think Key Point Health Services is a great place to receive care for mental health - I know I'm not the only one! The staff have always been kind and courteous and have shown great compassion! My therapist, Mary Ellen, is amazing! For the first time in my life, I have been able to open up and have been honest with myself and my feelings thanks to her. I'm a work in progress, and for me progress is cherished. Sometimes I don't want to talk about the tough stuff that I need to face, which she understands, but she has a way of helping me think about it in a way that makes it hurt not so much. She has shown so much empathy and compassion! I think that's a huge reason I am able to open up to her. She understands! My psychiatrist is also great and is always on board with what is happening in my life and helps maintain the meds I need to make a positive difference in my life. Key Point has helped save my life more than once through their therapies. Bless everyone there and thank you with all my heart 💙🤍💙
