I was 1 of the 1st 10 people when they opened 1970. It was pretty powerful. I remember the meetings the meals., the day my parents came to visit. I remember when I turned 18 they told me I had to leave.??? I The Black Panthers Angela Davis etc..

Kolmac and Bridget have been life changing for me. Bridget is a badass and VERY good clinician. She evidently pays close attention to each individual and how to communicate with them to bring them out of their shell. She is super relatable and down to Earth. I could not be happier with my experience thus far.

I was a broken, desperate, suicidal, hollow, empty shell of a heroin addicted woman, even after several failed stints in inpatient facilities. After a stay at MARC, I came to Kolmac for IOP and continuing care. 2 years, 9 months and 13 days later, I am the healthiest and happiest I've ever been. I owe my life to the staff at this wonderful facility. They work miracles here if you let them. I still do followup care here once a week and they always go above and beyond to help every patient here. This place saved my life. I never would have survived without them and I will be forever in their debt for that reason. I am living a life I never could have dreamed would be possible. I ve been happily married for nearly 5 years, I have a steady job doing something I love, and I own my own home. I still attend continuing care sessions via Zoom twice per month through Kolmac. I recently switched from Suboxone to the Sublocade shot to finally wean off of MAT hopefully for good. I am so grateful for the life I ve been able to have because of Kolmac. If you re struggling and considering getting help, but don t know if you can commit to an inpatient program, or if you re fresh out of inpatient and in need of additional help, please consider Kolmac. It saved my life. 11 years without intravenous drug abuse is a long time for a chronic heroin user. I m no one special. If I can do it, so can you. Stay strong and stay safe out there, friends.

I absolutely love Dr.S ... My grandson is his patient who is Autistic he's very gentle and attentive to his needs and my concerns. I love his practice so much I made my daughter his patient the front office staff has great patient service. Their also ok with none Vax patients Like my family which is difficult to find because every pediatric practice pushes their agenda on you Dr.S doesn't and I appreciate that!!.

I have been to this VA hospital several times since exiting the military, and I must say that every experience has been quite pleasant. I have nothing but good things to say about the range of care I have received thus far.

I would have to say this is the first time i have used this VA center but as a transfer i was able to get my first appointment with my PCM on Yellow team in 4 weeks. My experience with other centers is it took months. I went into the ED tonight and it was empty. The procedure for check in really wasn't posted but but with that being said even though i was there for something most would consider minor and a waste of ED resources the nurse and Dr Douglas treated me with the utmost respect and actually listened to what i was saying. My experience in any ED is once they treat your complaint they street you. But Dr Douglas made the time with me quality she took time to ask if I needed any other problems addressed. I will see how my interactions with the rest of the hospital goes but I am highly impressed with the ED please continue the service.
