House of Commons Has a brand new, very clean interior, as well as Environment.
The staff are very intellectually and affectionately invested in helping their residents with effective reasoning and tactical coping management skills.
I was court ordered, however, I would recommend H.O.C. to anyone that's serious about their recovery and mental healing.
The food is good and the environment is very relaxed and accommodating. The facility let's you smoke outside at leisure. And they treat you like a civilized human.

This place saved my life. If you’re ready to really get clean, this is the place to go. They won’t accept the excuses and BS and will call you out. Which is exactly what I needed. I just celebrated 9 years off my DOC. Vesna my therapist has helped me so much over the last 9 years. i truly don’t know where I would be without her help! Nurse Sheryl is awesome and I enjoy our interactions. Melissa at the front desk, is always there with a smile and soothing voice. I appreciate everyone at the clinic because I can imagine it’s a very high stress job! Thank you!

The staff was super nice and professional! I'm excited to see where this next chapter of my sober journey will take me with this facility now! I see Josh Fortney for medication management and Viola for therapy and I can say with confidence that I've never had better mental health care. I've struggled with therapy my whole life because of trust issues, and I actually look forward to my appointments with Viola. These people have been so good to me. I can't give them enough praise - I feel like I finally have the tools and support to take my life back from mental health problems and Viola and Josh showed me how. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for Forest? I love this place! I moved about 30 minutes away from Lansing and travel to keep my medical business here. The staff are all great and I would encourage everyone to say hello to the security personnel when you come in! They’re very friendly and do a great job. All of the doctors and nurses are great and care about your needs; and the folks at the front desk are always professional and helpful. I prefer their pharmacy as well because they have a good system. Last but not least, the girl with the bonnet is absolutely beautiful! 😍

I feel for the most part all the staff are pretty laid back, I get along with all of them, it seems pretty professional to me! Of course I hate that I have to drug test twice a week and do the groups and one on one meetings because it really messes with my job and I lose a lot of hrs every week but I put myself in the position that I'm in so no one to blame but myself. It would be nice if they could work around your job schedule better when it comes to groups and the one on one meetings! That's my only complaint!!

I took one of my children here for therapy. They were having trouble managing their behaviors. To be honest I think that the therapy felt more for me than them. I felt so alone and at my wits end after dealing with it alone for so long. They saw Jason C. And he was so helpful and supportive. Our family had a big scare this week when my 21 month old daughter had come in contact with and had possibly been bitten by a bat, I was fortunate enough to capture the bat. I contacted the Barry-Eaton health department and they were extremely helpful, I was able to deliver the bat to Gail within the hour and she personally transported the bat to the lab, she made no promises but said she would do what she could to expedite the process considering the circumstances...about 24 hours later Jen from the lab called to report that the test was negative. We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, whether the news would have been good or bad, you did your duty and took care of the people, well done, thank you for giving us faith in the system and the knowledge that our local government is competant and cares about it's citizens.

Wonderful experience, wonderful facility and wonderful faculty. I treated with Dr.Till about my high anxiety during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did he give me all the tools that I needed to fix my own anxieties, but he also was kind, charismatic, and had a great sense of humor. People & programs like these are needed to impact the community in a positive way, and this facility definitely help me through a very difficult and stressful time in my life and the world. I will forever be grateful for that. I would definitely recommend this place to coworkers and friends. (Five Star Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

I have had a WONDERFUL experience. My therapist is warm and makes me feel safe to share, but is also honest and doesn't let me get away with non-sense thoughts. The staff when starting this process was helpful and I find the telehealth portal easy to navigate. I certainly recommend
