House of Commons Has a brand new, very clean interior, as well as Environment.The staff are very intellectually and affectionately invested in helping their residents with effective reasoning and tactical coping management skills.I was court ordered, however, I would recommend H.O.C. to anyone that's serious about their recovery and mental healing.The food is good and the environment is very relaxed and accommodating. did a walk-in because the dental department has 3 different numbers and LITERALLY NO 1 ever answers the phones. I walked in around 7:20am, was seen immediately after completing paperwork. Dr Hall and the staff are super amazing and patient and also attentative! they kept me calm but what's funny is when I was in the lobby the 2nd time, the receptionist stayed answering that phone which is sooo confusing and baffling to me!! lmao but I don't regret walking in, I have another appt in 2 weeks. I feel for the most part all the staff are pretty laid back, I get along with all of them, it seems pretty professional to me! Of course I hate that I have to drug test twice a week and do the groups and one on one meetings because it really messes with my job and I lose a lot of hrs every week but I put myself in the position that I'm in so no one to blame but myself. It would be nice if they could work around your job schedule better when it comes to groups and the one on one meetings! That's my only complaint!!

I have personally had a very positive experience with A Healing Place. Over a nearly 5 year span I worked with two wonderful female therapists that were great to have in my life. Financially, I did not have issues because I paid a copay for my sessions which was reasonable for me to keep up with on a biweekly basis. It was nice to have my card stored on file so that I was always kept current with my charges.

Our family had a big scare this week when my 21 month old daughter had come in contact with and had possibly been bitten by a bat, I was fortunate enough to capture the bat. I contacted the Barry-Eaton health department and they were extremely helpful, I was able to deliver the bat to Gail within the hour and she personally transported the bat to the lab, she made no promises but said she would do what she could to expedite the process considering the circumstances...about 24 hours later Jen from the lab called to report that the test was negative.
