Longbranch came highly recommended by people close to me for whom I have tremendous respect and who deeply care for me and my family. Longbranch met and exceeded all of my expectations. The program focused on areas of recovery which I personally had previously been reluctant to embrace. The ‘faculty and staff’ were caring, knowledgeable, and passionate about this work, including engaging my family in the recovery process. And, I feel prepared to begin the next phase of my recovery journey, in large part due to the thoughtfulness and support that has gone into my after-care plan.
Thank you Longbranch. Godspeed to all the newcomers and those still yet to discover this amazing place.

Longbranch Recovery & Wellness Center was the answer to my wife and I’s prayers. This was the perfect place for my journey of recovery from alcoholism to begin. The facilities and staff are top notch. The RAs, counselors and medical staff are amazing and extremely knowledgeable and very well educated. Many have been in recovery themselves and are therefore very well versed in their profession. Also, this center is extremely veteran and active duty friendly. The staff know all of the ins and outs of the VA system and there are several veterans on staff. I would recommend this facility over any other.

| Beacon Behavioral Hospital, in Lacombe, Louisiana, provides comprehensive mental healthcare services for adults, including specialized programming for clients with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. They offer inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient (OP), and aftercare programming, including dedicated services for seniors | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It took a while for me to decide to post a remark, but I felt that I had to say something. I was a patient there last June because of something stupid I did because of the pain I was in because of my back. At first I was very upset and unruly. But after being there for a couple of days I did notice a couple of things that are definitely NOT the faculty's fault. The doctors, nurses & medtechs did the best they could with what they had. These people come in to help, because they care. But the one thing I did notice was that the staff was over-worked, under-staffed, under-appreciated & I don't know, but probably underpaid. They relied on donations, when it came down to certain clothes, shoes & I remember how short they were on pillows. After being discharged, my husband & I donated some items for them to use. The thing that gets me angry is after reading some of these reviews, it has become apparent to me how important that the Gov. steps in and do something about the lack of care there is for mental health. I read in a comment that their loved one was dumped like trash and she had dementia. While there myself and one other person tried to help the medtechs, when they needed some. These people are human beings, NOT TRASH and shouldn't be treated like it, due to the facility being so short staffed. You know, it's a shame we don't learn from the Asians on how they care for their loved ones. But like I said my personal experience taught me a lot about facing my inner demons, while trying to help the medtechs. Here's a thought!!! Maybe if you treated your staff the way that they should be treated, then you would not have so many unhappy family members of the patients.

Our developmentally disabled client was admitted last week. I can’t say enough about how awesome this facility has been. At most past facilities our other clients were in we had such a hard time advocating for them. Beacon has been easy to communicate w all the treatment team. We were included and informed regarding his care plan. They were able to make him feel safe. I’ll be requesting this facility if we ever need an admit for our DD consumers. Thank you Beacon!

Zero .I have a verification and certificate to prove I took a phlebotomy class , I know the dangers of leaving a Tourniquet on for over 2 mins , mind you my long sleeve was already tight and rolled up , I advised her I can slip my arm out of the sweater ,” oh no your fine .” Your incompetent phlebotomist has caused grave issues with my arm after drawing my blood “I’m a blow that vein” “ oh you have nice veins”I have a witness to her saying that .blew my mind . She dropped the caps to the needles “oh I’m dingy” I was petrified as to why she would even say that she was going to blow my vein!! I’m aware this happens all the time , that veins are blown, but 2 months later and my arm has shooting fire pain in my veins ,aches , tightness in my hand , I can barely feed myself , this is my dominant hand ,my fingers tingle and feel like they are a sleep , shoulder aches , cold fingers on going for two months .I pray the specialist doesn’t find anything detrimental. Never ever will I return nor send my family to merit . I pray she doesn’t touch another persons arm . 2 NP’s agree something was done , but they can’t confirm they are not a specialist . The specialist will confirm . God will take care of it specially if you harmed my well being.

I'm so glad I found this place. I was addicted to opioid pain medicine really bad. I wouldn't even get out of the bed if I didn't have at least 2 pills to take. I spent a ton of money, buying pills from anybody and everybody. Then my grandson was born. It is true that babies will change your life. And he did. The 1st time we looked at each other, he was probably 3 days old, but we looked into each other's eyes, and I knew at that moment that I would be raising my 2nd grandson. The only thing I could do was get clean. I absolutely had to get clean. I started making phone calls, and talking to people and all that led me to the methadone clinic on Pride Ave. out by the airport. My 1st day was July 1st, 2013. My grandson was born March 27th 2013. It took me 4 months to find the best drug addiction center that I knew would work for me.
I got custody of my grandson when he was a little over 2 years old. But he had been with me almost all the time since he was born. Cash just made 11 years old and he still lives with me and I'm still attending the methadone clinic, it's called BAART Program.
I'm kinda scared to stop taking the methadone because I suffer from depression, anxiety, Rheumatoid Arthritis and a few other things, and I know myself well enough to know that if I stop taking the methadone, I will find something else to take. So, I'm gonna stick with the program because it has worked so well for me.
I honestly believe that anybody with an addiction to opioids should try this clinic. The doctor and the counselor's there are fantastic. No body judges you, and if you don't feel like talking a lot, you don't have to. But when you get ready to talk about your problems and what led you to get addicted to opioids, they will listen without interrupting and they will listen to you, and they will help you. I know this, because I've been there for real. You will love yourself and everyone else when you get clean, I promise you that. You will feel so much better about yourself and your life. You will have a desire to do something good with your life.
It's just great to be free from addiction.

Mississippi is ranked 6th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54,805.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Mississippi vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Mississippi. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Mississippi that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Mississippi.
