I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy performed on Aug 5th. It was by far a much more pleasant experience than I expected. Every single person I interacted with was exceptionally kind. At the last minute as I was getting ready to go back, a medical need that I had failed to mention came up. The nurse made sure it was clearly communicated to everyone involved and Dr. Ruffini made accommodations to ensure everything would go smoothly. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Elisa connects with her clients and establishes a trusting relationship. When I first met Elisa, she immediately made my son and I feel comfortable and provided us with hope. I knew she was the right person to help and support my son through this journey of recovery. As a parent, I felt well supported and appreciated her honesty and truthfulness in informing me of how my child was progressing in the program. My child attended ASPIRE and was treated with great compassion. Elissa not only offers great supports for her young's clients she also offers support for the parents as well. As a professional in the behavioral health space for 14 years I am very impressed by Rolling Hills’ operation. The facility itself is beautiful and clean with the clinicians offices and group rooms spacious. The staff really show up for the patients with a desire to help that you can feel. My son has been working with Morris, a Recovery Coach at Mountainside for the past eight months and the experience has been exceptional for us both! Morris truly understands how to support recovery in a real world, day to day way. The coaching goes further than check-ins. It includes accountability, life skills, emotional support, and sometimes honest hard conversations. My son has learned how to manage challenges, make healthier choices and is learning how to stay focused on his long-term goals. The progress he’s made has been remarkable and I credit much of that to the consistent well informed coaching he receives. Not only does Morris provide coaching to my son, his expertise extends to me as well. He is highly responsive and always follows through. Mountainside’s Recovery coaching is more than a service. It feels like it’s a true partnership. As a mom navigating this process, I am grateful for the guidance, structure, the encouragement and situational advice Morris provides. I would recommend their coaching without hesitation to any family who’s looking for meaningful sustained support around sobriety. This has made a significant difference for my family. Early recovery, albeit exciting, can be fragile, and I cannot imagine having gone through this experience without the coaching Morris provides.

I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle. I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect. God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

Id love to give these guys a 5 but recently I was dropped due to insurance. ( I have medicaid. Which makes me less fortunate then others who pay for there insurance) so after about a year and a half. Outside of that the groups are excellent the facilitators truely care, and the people who are the ones that really make the groups they are great. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did.

Not only do the staff care about you they always have smiles on their faces and make you laugh and feel welcome. I completed this program after my 12 weeks and still show up when i can to do the recovery based workout and yoga/meditation. That is one of the many perks of this program. When you complete your part of the soarfit family for life as long as you keep doing what your supposed to do. Highly recommend!!!

Guardian Recovery New Pathways in Pine Brook is a great IOP program. It is very unique in that instead of a 3 hrs group which would bore me to tears it is broken up int0 1 hrs of crossfire type exercise, 1 hrs of meditation and yoga, and 1 hrs of group with 1 day of a one on one session with a councilor. They treat you body, mind, and soul. They hold you accountable and I couldn't keep sober on my own and it's fun.and gets you in shape.

I had a very good experience at Absolute Awakenings, I came in from detox for alcoholism and completed the PHP program at Absolute Awakenings. The staff was attentive, professional and encouraging. Nicole who was my clinician was great, she really helped me in our one on one sessions and in my relapse prevention plan. I just spent 7 days at this hospital . I’ve been there before bc I had my original surgery on my intestines there 15 ya . This time I came back to having emergency surgery for a blockage. The original admitting staff was so quick with getting my surgeon to me. By the time he got there he was up to date on my scans etc rushed me into surgery saying they would explore first then try to fix any issue . My recovery was in a beautiful wing had my own room . The nurses were amazing specifically Morgan , Danielle . Victoria and Raasha . All of the primary care techs were also great. I wish I could say it was a good experience but beigg ng sick never is but for a bad one it was good. Dr Flanagan under my original surgeon Dr Rolandelli were also great .

After a stressful experience elsewhere with an enlarged thyroid that was affecting my voice and swallowing, I came to Phelps Hospital and Northwell Health for a second opinion. The care I received from start to finish was extraordinary. Every physician I worked with—Dr. Hellerman (Endocrinology), Dr. Newman (Surgery), and Dr. Indich (Primary Care)—took the time to truly listen, explain everything clearly, and treat me like a person rather than a chart number. The team at Yorktown Imaging was equally wonderful, keeping my spirits high and putting me at ease during my pre-op MRI. On surgery day, everything ran like clockwork. Admissions was private and efficient. A patient care concierge explained the tracker system to my husband so he could follow my progress, and my prep nurse was attentive, communicative, and made sure he could sit with me before surgery. Dr. Newman took extra care to place the incision where scarring would be minimal, and the anesthesiology team kept me completely informed. Recovery staff managed my post-anesthesia nausea immediately, and Dr. Newman checked on me before I was discharged to rest at home. Post-op follow-up has been fantastic—calls were returned promptly, and one week out I have minimal pain, zero complications, and feel better every day. Thank you to the entire Phelps team for your skill, warmth, and genuine patient-first culture!

Christian Health brought my dad back to life! After a a terrible two months in the hospital, my dad had weakened his swallow muscles and couldn’t eat or drink. He had a stomach feeding tube when he entered the rehab facility. He wasn’t walking independently but Amanda Burkart, the speech pathologist at Christian health brought so much energy, positivity and consistency in her care that my dad started eating and drinking and passed his swallow test. The nurse and care staff: Jetta, Nancy, Akina and Marwa were all so attentive and caring. I also appreciated Trisha who helped me manage all the follow up appointments for my dad. Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

Supportive and non judgement staff at Brentwood location. Very clean and group sessions were great. They truly make you feel like a human being a person. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best facility and most caring people I’ve ever come across. Shout out to everyone at the nurses station for holding it down for me when I was at my lowest. I am not a fan of any facility whatsoever but these guys genuinely do it right. Can’t thank y’all enough. Best nursing staff ever

In IOP, the workshops, my group members, and my counselor, Russ, have been a true support. However, I see that this has been but the beginning of my journey in sobriety. There is still much work to be done. I need to have AA as a part of my daily life; I need my sponsor; I need new friends in sobriety. This the beginning of reconnection--to my self and the creative force.
