We ended up at Chilton because it was closest to our emergency, not our local hospital. We had some issues in the ER. But after being admitted, the care we recieved 6 days in the ICU and 2 days in a regular room were absolutely amazing. The ICU team is absolutely top notch, they helped my husband recover AND took amazing care of me. They were attentive, caring, and went above and beyond their job role to take care of all of us. There are too many names to name, but all of the nurses, PCTs, and doctors were unmatched. Even the workers in the cafeteria and cafe cared and comforted me greatly. I am grateful we ended up there.

I recently had a short stay at Chilton for a surgical procedure, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The surgical team was highly professional and put my mind at ease before the operation. During my recovery, the nurses and staff in 5 West were incredibly responsive, checking on my pain levels and ensuring I had everything I needed. The hospital rooms were very clean and comfortable, and even the food was surprisingly good, a musician even came and played for me. I felt completely safe and in excellent hands here."

Elisa's compassion, dedication, kindness and knowledge in the area of adolescent addiction has made our overall experience with ASPIRE Counseling Center an extremely positive one. Elisa connects with her clients and establishes a trusting relationship. When I first met Elisa, she immediately made my son and I feel comfortable and provided us with hope. My son has been working with Morris, a Recovery Coach at Mountainside for the past eight months and the experience has been exceptional for us both! Morris truly understands how to support recovery in a real world, day to day way.
The coaching goes further than check-ins. It includes accountability, life skills, emotional support, and sometimes honest hard conversations. My son has learned how to manage challenges, make healthier choices and is learning how to stay focused on his long-term goals. The progress he’s made has been remarkable and I credit much of that to the consistent well informed coaching he receives.
Not only does Morris provide coaching to my son, his expertise extends to me as well. He is highly responsive and always follows through.
Mountainside’s Recovery coaching is more than a service. It feels like it’s a true partnership. As a mom navigating this process, I am grateful for the guidance, structure, the encouragement and situational advice Morris provides. I would recommend their coaching without hesitation to any family who’s looking for meaningful sustained support around sobriety. This has made a significant difference for my family. Early recovery, albeit exciting, can be fragile, and I cannot imagine having gone through this experience without the coaching Morris provides.

I was a patient at serenity at summit from July 16th to August 13, 2025. I didn't know what to expect I flew from Fayetteville , north carolina and was picked up from the airport by one of the exceptional techs KAMAR Someone I never met before, but you wouldn't know it from our conversation. I told him I was hungry because they wouldn't let the plane land right away he Informed me not to worry that they had food for me as soon as we get to the facility. After I ate, I went to get a quick check-up.And I was soon meet by another tech and was taken to detox on the 3rd floor , he showed me my room , rm 6 and then took me out for a fresh air break , and then it was time for bed. The next morning, I was moved to the 2nd floor for rehab where I met some of the other staff members Amira, Tom ,Lori, who became my case manager, Regina, Dawn and Heber, to name a few, these people made my stay really pleasant I could go to them for anythig and as for the exceptional tecs Al Danett Destiny CHARLIE and little bit. Fair Lawn, NJ | North Jersey Recovery Center is a private drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation center in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. North Jersey Recovery Center treats adult clients with substance use disorder (SUD) by recognizing and healing the physical, mental, and spiritual harm it has caused. This is a clinical facility with luxury amenities. New Jersey | Programs Payment Options | I can't say enough good things about NJRC. Having had experience with different treatment programs over the years, NJRC genuinely stands out. What impressed me most is how individualized the care is. Clients are treated based on their own circumstances and needs, and not like just another statistic going through a program.
The therapists, psychiatric staff, facilitators, case managers, techs, and operations staff are all professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping people succeed. You can tell there's a real effort across the board to understand each person's situation and give them the support they actually need.
The various programs themselves are thoughtfully designed as well. You're exposed to practical tools, knowledge, and resources that help you better understand yourself, address the issues behind substance use, and ultimately make lasting changes.
If you or a loved one are looking for help and aren't sure where to go, this is definitely a place I'd recommend.

My journey to recovery did not begin with New Jersey Recovery Center (NJRC). I have struggled with addiction for many years and have been in and out of rehabs and IOPs. I have had both good and bad experiences, often with facilities promising services that never happened or leaving me in the dark about my own recovery plan.
In January 2026, I was at my absolute worst and once again in the throes of addiction. As we know, addiction is progressive, and mine had progressed to a place that truly scared me. I had previously been in contact with a staff member from NJRC, and in what felt like my only moment of clarity, I told my husband, “Call NJRC.”
From that day forward, they guided me every step of the way.
NJRC helped guide me through detox and residential treatment and strongly encouraged me to continue into PHP. I was hesitant, but thankfully I trusted their recommendation. When I arrived, I immediately felt something different. NJRC treated me like a person—not a diagnosis or another client walking through the door. They took the time to know me, understand me, and make me feel like my recovery truly mattered.
What makes NJRC so special is that they do what they say they are going to do. They provide weekly individual therapy—and it actually happens. Their peer-centered groups teach coping skills, encourage honest conversations, and provide tools that can actually be used outside of treatment. The staff genuinely care. They listen, they support you, they hold you accountable when you need it, and they celebrate your progress with you. I never felt like I was going through recovery alone.
During my time with NJRC, I have formed meaningful friendships, strengthened my relationships with my family, regained my confidence, learned to set boundaries, and discovered my beliefs, values, and purpose. For so many years, I hid behind a mask. NJRC helped me realize that I don't have to anymore. They gave me a safe place to finally figure out who I am.
Difficult things still happen, but today I handle them differently. I don't look for a drink anymore. I look for a tool.
I feel today. I communicate today. I live life today.
Today, I am 228 days sober, and there are not enough words to express my gratitude to NJRC. Every person there has played a part in helping me become the person I am today. They helped me rebuild relationships with my family, rediscover myself, believe in myself again, and understand that recovery isn't simply about not drinking—it's about learning how to live again, happy, joyous, and free.
NJRC didn't just help me get sober. They helped me build a life that I want to stay sober for.
I will forever be grateful, and I hope that one day I can give back and help someone else the way NJRC has helped me.
With gratitude,
Jodi B.

I'm writing this for the creative person who thinks rehab is gonna be all lectures and coping skills worksheets and compliance training...or new agey feel good enabling BS. (because I went through that at another place…and I’m a feisty, rebellious performer, who fell all the way to hell through my addiction.)
Moving Mountains is an adventure based program. And that's not just "fun." that’s a major part of the treatment…hiking, skiing, ropes course…Healthy risks…Movement. self Mastery. Making something…learning that I can DO things that make me feel better…They teach you how to deal with crap on the deepest levels, to get it out. So like…in my case…there is less to want to escape. Easier to stay sober. Joy…peace…fun. Stress: life. Tools
Sobriety doesn't have to be gray and grim. It can light up your brain as much as getting high did. I mean that…kinda literally. Skydiving…for real…if you do the work…it’s part of the program. At completion.
It's not a "creative arts program." BUT: creative work is an option. For me it was a key. A Big key. I had no idea how much my creative shutdown and grief were feeding my addiction…really, almost no idea.
I am a singer. And I saw people transform through singing (like me…), guitar, piano, making beats, DJing, poetry, dance, voice work...even building comedy routines. You could literally see someone's eyes and posture shift over days.
The staff are Actually client centered. At Moving mountains, that means you're treated like a human being. Not a diagnosis and not a compliance project. They help you remember want you want, connect you to your dreams again.
They don't “punish you into right thinking.” That’s still a very common approach, I’ve heard from so many people in recovery meetings.
But there are boundaries and clear expectations...because that's what actually leads to an easier, fun life. I was not the easiest client. I had to learn to be patient and respectful…not just to others. To myself.
It's also not 12 step only preaching club. Super strong recovery culture...but you're allowed to explore what works for you, (there's even a Zen teacher who comes!) The housing is for real beautiful and in beautiful communities. Not "nice for rehab." Actually nice.
It's weird to miss rehab. Like a paradox. But I do. My time at Moving Mountains has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

And if there were anyone else I'd thank, besides the Lord, for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. Not all Recovery or Rehabilitation Centers are created equal. BlueCrest is a special place where the counselors, clinicians, and the entire staff genuinely care about everyone’s recovery.
The recommendations given to each client are specific to their needs and are built with purpose; out of love and care.
The accommodations are very comfortable, but not luxurious. Just enough “no-frills” to feel the humility but also safe, clean, and makes you feel at home. Everyone cooks together and comes together as a community in the houses.
The groups and content are engaging and can get quite deep; yet also contain the right amount of fun, relaxation, and meditation to sooth the soul.
I highly recommend BlueCrest Recovery Center to anyone who is serious about recovery, and wants to stay sober indefinitely!

BlueCrest has been a great choice for my recovery journey. I can’t say enough about how structured and 12 step focused this program has been. The staff, counselors and support has been helpful, compassionate and nonjudgmental. I can tell everyone here has had my best interests at heart since day one. Mike in admissions really set the bar high for the rest of program, and it did not disappoint.
My hope has returned, when 2 months ago I had none, and I have gotten my life back one day at a time.

Morristown, NJ | You’ll find Atlantic Health Systems at Morristown Medical Center in the heart of Morristown, New Jersey. They are a hospital with substance abuse and co-occurring disorder treatment for adults and adolescents. It’s accessible via the state NJ Transit System, so you can easily reach the facility without worrying about parking. Stabilizat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | The first time I came to Morristown medical center I had a pancreatitis attack (I have a well documented history of chronic pancreatitis with countless hospitalizations) For those who know, it’s up there with the worst pain in the world. I could hardly walk, speak, move. I’m in the Atlantic health system so it’s very documented, even though my prior hospitalizations weren’t in Morristown.
I was placed in a hallway and my phone was taken (I wasn’t on it, just texting…is this legal?) and was treated like a drug seeking criminal. I had to AMA myself and swiftly got pulled over by Morristown PD pulling out, which was fun. I followed up with the hospital and they said they “don’t take patients phones” but that was a flat out lie. I ended up driving to Valley in Paramus the next morning.
Fast forward a few months later I had an awful attack and also had pneumonia. I was in the icu for three weeks, luckily my mom brought me in (I’m 38) so for some reason I was taken seriously this time.
I had two other pancreatitis attacks since then, both resulting in 2-5 day stays and the nurses and staff were caring and wonderful. I take these reviews like any “business” with a grain of salt because you don’t know who you are getting that day. I had an awful experience and the next two were decent. Maybe it was the doctor in the ER that night with a bias because many pancreatic problems are linked to alcohol? I have no idea. Wonderful nurses though.

I came here the other night because i had really bad abdominal pain, and i can say that from the minute i walked into the emergency room i was treated so kindly. i personally hate hospitals because of the long wait time and the way ive been treated in the past by other doctors, feeling brushed off. but everybody genuinely cared and were trying to figure out what was wrong. I got an mri done, bloodwork, and ultrasound and was out of there in under 3 hours. Usually in the past thats how long i stay in the waiting room lol
