| Located in Taos, New Mexico, Shadow Mountain Recovery is a drug and alcohol rehab center. Situated on 37 mountainous acres, this serene environment is a beautiful place to focus on recovery. This center offers detox and residential treatment for men. They also accept those who have a dual diagnosis. Located in Taos, New Mexico, Shadow Mountain Reco | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can’t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I’ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I’m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. I definitely recommend shadow mountain to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and changing their life. Thank you all!!

This is an exceptional treatment experience for addiction. The staff, led by the amazing Randall Staton, is extraordinary; many professionals passionate about helping people like me. The facility itself is nestled in Shadow Mountain and it is well maintained and very comfortable. The mountain itself is a very spiritual place. It has a lot of power and one can feel it just by being there. If you or a loved one needs help with addiction, I highly recommend Shadow Mountain Recovery in Taos, New Mexico. It's one of a kind and truly effective.

This clinic has a bunch of helpful professionals that provide basic services and referrals. I was always taken care of quickly, with my well being in mind. They spent the necessary time to ensure all of my needs and questions were answered through each step. Follow up appointments were a must. Proud Retiree and thankful for this benefit.

This clinic has a staff of helpful professionals. There is only one doctor on staff to serve this area. I will miss Dr. Wolinsky, whose early departure must be due to the consistently heavy workload! The clinic provides basic services and referrals to either the VAMC in ABQ or the Choice program as appropriate. The patient services I received in the past year (Foot injury, injured wrist, lab work, eye and dental referrals) were each taken care of quickly, with my well being in mind. Dr. Wolinsky spent the necessary time to ensure all of my needs and questions were answered, he also made follow up appointments when we needed to go more indepth on the complex issues. The front desk, lab, and nurse providers are efficient, caring, and professional. Proud Retiree and thankful for this benefit.
