Very good place. Professional atmosphere. Helped my back pain improve. People there are usually really nice to me, and let's face it no matter how good of a doctor someone is if they or any other staff are mean you won't wanna go back so that's important. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need of pt. ✨
Update 3 years later: It was found I have chronic and degenerative conditions so I need more invasive treatment methods...but the insurance company sent me back to PT again. What I can say is even tho I know this won't cure my back pain, its going the best it can possibly go. I believe these are the best physical therapists around even as someone who can't be helped by physical therapy alone at this point in my journey. I've met more people there now and everyone is very nice and don't judge me. Still 10/10. ✨

I was a resident there in the late 80s I remember the staff there I remember a lot of the staff members. They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. I can't rate this place high enough. I've been coming here for treatment for about 2.5 years now, and have gotten great treatment the entire time. The staff cares and genuinely wants to help. I had to go through a couple therapists to get to my current one, but she is an absolute godsend and I'm so incredibly thankful I was able to become her patient.
Her name is Kristin, and she's absolutely fantastic. I always know I can reach out to her and get excellent advice. She actually took the time to work her way in through my incredibly thick walls I've built around myself, and put in the effort to actually understand me and how I work. She's never made me feel bad for anything, and knows how to push me to saying/doing what I need to. She's actually made me want to go to therapy.
My biggest praise to sing for her is from earlier today, which spurred me to write this review. She just called me, from home, ON HER DAY OFF, to check on me because of an email I sent her last night. She took the time out of her day, unpaid, to call me and make sure that I'm okay and that I'm safe. I'll never forget that.

Saved my husband's life he's been sober for 16 years now in the beginning I thought it was impossible he was so bad but the first week he started being treated for his addiction he was doing a lot better and before we realized it's been 16 years this November I know it doesn't work for everyone and I certainly do pray for them but It worked for him and I'm so grateful to CHS/Dr.Updike/Staff for being so dedicated to the cause of helping us recover... Dr. Meyerhoff is the Best there is... He makes his patients feel comfortable with all his baseball knowledge like hes reading them a story, you can hardly feel the Novacain shots going in or the tooth coming out... His Caring and Calm Manner with his Patients Make for a very relaxing visit. Dr. Meyerhoff is a Professional in every Aspect.

I was here Probally 30 years ago. Senior unit. Father Regis was there at that time. Great great guy. I forget my counselor name but frank and Patti I remeber. That place did a lot for me. Learned to go work everyday working In the woodshop with Paul? Can’t remember. A lot of people saying there kids got jumped. Not sure how that can happen. We were never alone for more that a few minutes . But it was an experience I won’t forget. Especially when I should have been released but my mom said no and the counselor couldn’t make up lies anymore of why I was there stayed 2 months longer than needed for school to be out even though I got my ged they hys.
