Choicepoint has been a really wonderful option for me after waiting to seek treatment for a long time. Since being in the program for 2 1/2 months, I can already see a lot of changes in myself that I didn't anticipate happening so quickly. The team is very knowledgeable and good at explaining medical terminology around addiction into easily understandable language that was easy for me to digest. The group sessions were particularly helpful as they provided an opportunity to share time with others who are going through the same experience, which is not something I have in my "real" life. I had Darien and Sam for group, and both are very kind and good at creating a safe and friendly atmosphere where people that start as strangers feel comfortable sharing private things about themselves. Darien took time out of his day to help advise me once on natural remedies for anxiety, and Sam has a great candor and humor which makes group a pleasant experience - something I never would have expected going into the program. Joanna, the nurse at Choicepoint, is very kind and takes time to explain to you different options for MAT without pushing you in one direction - she explains everything so well that you feel very confident in whichever option you choose. Gina, who I had as a counselor, also helped me process how I make decisions and the behavior behind my actions, which has helped me to understand myself better. It's been a great thing for me and I really recommend it to anyone.

I would like to start off by saying my case manager Jill has went above and beyond for me. Any question I had or anything I needed she made sure to get it figured out. Than Chris was one of my first staff I’ve met and since than he’s been my rock. He can notice the slightest chance in my mood and will hop right into action with whatever he needs to do. A couple other staff members that I’ve clung to because they’ve made it so safe are, Brooke, Dashon, Shaneequa and Rachel, they take there jobs so seriously and truely do just want the best for each and everyone of us. We’re not just people detoxing to them. They become our friends, supporters. Nurse katrina and nurse Alex have been my saving grace, taking care of me phychially but even emotionally. Our little talks while they do my vitals goes a whole long way with me. And last but not least the entire kitchen staff, they feed us but also keep us feeling humanized as they serve us this delicious food they’ve spent all day making. This is such a well oiled machine from every which way and I’m glad to have gotten help here and I’m forever thankful for them all & for blue crest.

Specialized services are available for veterans and adolescents. Upon admissio | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Christopher Inzerillo (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr. Sufian Sorathia (Gastroenterologist) for their exceptional care and dedication.

My range of motion, strength, and functionality returning within the weeks that followed, thanks also to the outstanding occupational therapy team he recommended.
Dr. Sorathia provided care of the highest professional and human quality. He was thorough, attentive, and ensured that every necessary test was done to rule out any issues, addressing every detail of my health concerns. I couldn't thank him more for the exceptional treatment. His team was equally compassionate and efficient, offering a level of care I had never experienced before.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews.
They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options.
After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money.
They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake?
I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn.
Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

This is a throwaway account for my own privacy. I did the PHP and IOP program at GenPsych in Livingston after I got out of the hospital. I am indebted to the staff, counselors, and fellow clients. I was at my lowest point and am able to say now that I am the healthiest I've ever been, and it's in part because of this program. One drawback I noticed is that they did have high turnover while I was there and seemed to have a lot of newer counselors who were not as experienced, but the DBT program is something that can be administered by anyone. If you're hesitating about doing this, I'd recommend it.

So I attended the intensive outpatient DBT program here for several months, and it was a challenging, emotional and also wonderful, rewarding experience. My therapist, Kayla, was incredible - very relatable and down-to-earth, compassionate and yet still held me accountable. The front desk staff and other DBT session leaders were great too - shout-out to Provi! If you've made it this far into my review and are debating whether or not to try the DBT program: DO IT. The best run VA facility in the United States. I've been patients of the VA all up and down the east coast as well as in the middle of the United States. Although it feels like the NYC Bronx VA has the oldest building, it is the best well run. The doctors there care about their patients more than any other VA. If any doctor touches your records or makes a decision then you have access to that doctor. Also if you need help for any reason and all appointments are booked then you can always walk in and be squeezed in. The James J. Peters VA cares about the vet and the care. Patients maintain their doctor in NYC and fly up from other parts of the country just to have an appointment. It's that good.

While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives.
Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. There comes a point in an addict's life where they will do anything to change their circumstances and patterns of behavior that led to their current state, and those are the clients that succeed at Odyssey, or anywhere else.

Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

The Chilton Medical Center is part of Atlantic Behavioral Health in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. They provide crisis intervention services in the case of mental health or substance use disorder emergencies. Their team can also venture into the community on occasion to address crises where you are. They accept many insurance plans at this location, i | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This review is long overdue, but I really want to give a huge shout out to Scott Rosen from the Emergency Department. Every time I’ve come in, he’s been compassionate, patient, and genuinely kind. He has such a calming presence and always takes the time to explain what’s going on, which makes a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Having a chronic illness is a challenge and having a person like Scott made me feel so comfortable and calm and truly cared for. He not only made me feel safe and reassured but he went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and I was so thankful. I have had Crohns since I was 9 and I've never had a more compassionate nurse. He is truly one of a kind.
On one visit, another nurse was having a hard time with my IV. I specifically asked for Scott, and as always, he got it on the first try and made me feel completely at ease. His technique is gentle and confident, and you can tell he truly cares about his patients.
Scott goes above and beyond whether it’s offering a reassuring word, making sure you’re comfortable, or just treating you like a person instead of a chart. Nurses like him make all the difference in the ER, and I’m so grateful for his care. Thank you Scott!!!!!

The maternity center here has me in awe. I never expected to receive such top quality care during such an intense time. You hear horror stories at other hospitals about lack of empathy from staff, but at Chilton every person that we have encountered since arriving has been exceptionally kind and helpful. Shoutout to all the nurses here in the maternity ward! Keep up the good work 🥹

Recently my husband was a patient in the same day surgery center to have his pacemaker battery replaced. He received excellent care from nurses Tara, Natise, and Michele. In addition to the RNs he was assisted by Max. The staff there is most compassionate, helpful, and put my husband at ease. We truly appreciate their professionalism and care.

There just is no hospital that I have ever been to that is like it, ever. Holy Name saved My Mama's life TWICE!!! I think part of their job requirement is for you to be a living Angel. They cared for my Mom and took extra special care of me, her worrying family and my worrying child. Everyone treats you like you are their personal family and flesh and blood there. From Dr. Hee Yang and his PA Dayana. To my Mom's Anesthesiologist and Nurses. From Andre and the other sweet curly hair young lady at the front desk. Edwinda, Alexa, Jackie, Lamont and sweet cheery Amber on the 3rd flr. To Taylor, Carolina, Migena, Bree and the head Nurse manager Johanna on the 5th flr. Even down to patient transport. To Kayan in the Cafeteria and everyone who works there, all the amazing cooks that put their foot and heart in the food there. The Food, Oh baby...it's healing and soo soo good!! I wonder if I can sneak back in just to grab food. You Can Trust this place with your life and your loved ones lives. Their misson and obvious dedication is to save lives and unfortunately that's not something you come by often at all. It is Truly an Incredibly Special Place!! Thank You Thank You Holy Name Hospital for literally loving, caring, and taking care of your patients and their loved ones. If I had a trillion dollars I would donate half of it to this place. Please forgive me if I didn't mention your name here. Everyone of you are truly truly special. God Bless Every Single One of You!!!!

I had a surgical procedure yesterday with Dr. Phillip George 3+ hours in OR. Dr. George is a Rock Star!
Holy Name Hospital is a beautiful facility with a world class staff of Anesthesiologists, RNs and all support staff.
I could not have chosen a finer Surgeon and Hospital, than Holy Name.
I actually took a short walk Day 1 today and and I am not in any significant pain, just very sore.
Thank you Dr. George and Holy Name Hospital!!!
