I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did. Every physician I worked with—Dr. Hellerman (Endocrinology), Dr. Newman (Surgery), and Dr. Indich (Primary Care)—took the time to truly listen, explain everything clearly, and treat me like a person rather than a chart number. The team at Yorktown Imaging was equally wonderful, keeping my spirits high and putting me at ease during my pre-op MRI. On surgery day, everything ran like clockwork. Admissions was private and efficient. A patient care concierge explained the tracker system to my husband so he could follow my progress, and my prep nurse was attentive, communicative, and made sure he could sit with me before surgery. Dr. Newman took extra care to place the incision where scarring would be minimal, and the anesthesiology team kept me completely informed. Recovery staff managed my post-anesthesia nausea immediately, and Dr. Newman checked on me before I was discharged to rest at home. Post-op follow-up has been fantastic—calls were returned promptly, and one week out I have minimal pain, zero complications, and feel better every day. After a a terrible two months in the hospital, my dad had weakened his swallow muscles and couldn’t eat or drink. He had a stomach feeding tube when he entered the rehab facility. He wasn’t walking independently but Amanda Burkart, the speech pathologist at Christian health brought so much energy, positivity and consistency in her care that my dad started eating and drinking and passed his swallow test. Overall, I had a very positive experience and was impressed by the hospital’s excellent service, cleanliness, and professionalism.I checked in at approximately 10:10 a.m., and Pat, who registered me, was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. She made the registration process comfortable and easy.During my visit, I underwent a Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), which uses computed tomography to take detailed images of the heart and coronary arteries. During the examination, Lorna, the CT scan technician, administered medication to help slow my heart rate so the images could be taken properly. Lorna was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She did an excellent job explaining and handling the procedure. She is originally from the Philippines.The X-ray technician was also very nice, professional, and helpful.The hospital floors and facilities were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout my visit. The only concern was that it took some time to get my appointment. Hopefully, in the future, appointments can be scheduled a little earlier.Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Holy Name Hospital and truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and excellent care provided by the staff.
