I’ve been going to Dr.Hielman for 15 years now and he’s truly amazing! The staff also is always friendly and caring. I wouldn’t bother looking anywhere else because it would be a waste of time! Dr.Hileman has helped with my pain management and has helped tackle other issues of mine.

I came here all the way from New York, as I’m originally from Youngstown and needed to get away from my surroundings for a bit and have a hard reset.
Left treatment today and had a really nice experience here. The staff is super friendly and nice and have a lot of experience with addiction and treatment. As well, the counselors were all great and the groups were helpful.
Don’t come here if you expect to go on vacation or are simply in need of housing and are looking for a day spa that has a medical cabinet. Groups and H & I are a collective seven hours a day (morning, break, afternoon, break, evening) and attendance is expected.
All things said, made some friends, got about as sober as anyone could get in a month, and learned that I’m still apparently really very terrible at basketball. Would recommend.

The Staff at First Step Recovery are phenomenal. I've been in First Steps programs since Oct. Of 2024, and at each level of care I've had the best treatment from staff. I was in patient from detox to phase 1, and from there to IOP and beyond. And at each level I've come to care for the staff more and more, because they cared. And I'm stronger in my recovery more and more every day because of them.

When I found myself entering this treatment center, I had absolutely nothing going for me. A year later, I got my son home, my fiance and I both got clean TOGETHER, we both have full time jobs, 2 cars, a beautiful home and our families back. For this first time in 14 years we are both sober, healthy, happy, and succeeding in life. Without the counselors and all the help here, I woukdnt have made it but love my life today more then anything Andi owe thisplace so much for that. Great people, very friendly and kind. They really take the time to listen to you to try to help give you the right advice and treatments. From the front desk all the way to the back rooms the nurse practitioners everybody I seen and talk to that were there were amazing people. Very patient and understanding that’s what most of us need right now, so if you need a place to go to help you whether it’s anxiety, severe depression etc. they give you hope and they help. If I can give them 10 stars, I would. My best friend Dawn recommended me. And I am so grateful so now I want to pay it forward recommend it to anybody that needs it don’t be ashamed. They don’t make you feel like you’re not human. A lot of place do that they treat you like you’re not humans. I’m sick of getting treated like that. I've been to multiple places for treatment and this place is BY FAR the best I've been to in 10 years. The appointment process does take a bit longer than most places but you can tell the people who work here genuinely care about you. They listen AND accommodate to your wants and needs. The very first recovery center I've been to. Based on my experience it will be the last! (in a great way) I love this place, the meetings and my counselor. They have medical for those who need medicine to help with their addictions. They really do care. If you are ready to take that step to being free from which ever substance you are addicted to then this is a really really great place. I would give more stars if I could. Great Clinic. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place.

I was in a terrable car accident jan. 29. I was taken to trumble regional hospital. I was there for four days. The staff was so amazing. They truly made my stay enjoyable. I fractured my neck and back in the accident. I technically shouldn't of been able to get up and walk out of the hospital. Everyone was so supportive and I felt loved. I felt as if I was with family. The level of care was top tier. The food wasn't the best. I would suggest more fresh fruits and veggies. I still ate it though because I am grateful someone came to work and prepared food for me to eat. I'm understanding you have new ownership. And it's very apparent from everyone I was in contact with that this hospital will rise up and become one of the better hospital in our area. I'm so grateful to be alive and even more grateful for all the love and support this hospital as shown me. Keep rising. This is an example of how health care should be. Thank you all. I’ve been a patient here for many years, I’ve always been treated with respect, urgency, and care. This provider is one of the best around, and I feel they really do care about the patients. The ladies that answer the phone are always kind and listen, I have called a lot in the last couple of months to leave a message for the doctor or what not and they are always kind about it. I have had to cancel and reschedule and haven't had any issues. The doctor always listens to what I have to say and helps advocate for my child.

Dr mike maggio does a good job with both my son's and their medications. I highly recomend him. He takes his time and asks lots of questions and trys to help my son with out putting him on a lot of meds. My son has asd with sensory disturbance and hightend hearing so its very hard for him to navagate his daily life. There was a issue with one of the meds causing aggressions and from the start dr mike knew what to change and it worked wonders. He checked on my son 3xs a week when we first changed his meds and one time he was busy on a Fri and didnt get a chance to call and took time out of his weekend to check up on us. He stays in contact with the counsler and they work very well together for both my son's.

I graduated the year program and it has been nothing short of a miracle. This program absolutely works if you apply yourself and work hard. I learned a vast amount about myself and about my own addiction. Furthermore the program furthered my relationship with Jesus christ, and now im proud too say im a believer in Jesus. This program is wonderfull because they not only have the spiritual side, they also have the clinical side in hope counseling. Lastly the staff here is caring and wonderfull.
