The staff at Brightview is so positive and welcoming, the staff always think of patients first. Anna in particular ALWAYS tells me she’s proud of me and the meds is calculated to my needs. Richmond is a very strict recovery program, they won't baby you so if you can't take a stringent recovery program go to a catering facility. I was there in the '80s and finished the program, it did me good, I have fell back a few times but with the tools they gave me I was able to get back on track and have been sober for 18 years. If you choose this program finish it and walk out a better person, remember it's tough but it will build character and you will be stronger for it. Good Luck, Roland

It was very hard to get myself to reach out for help for a long time. The moment I did, it went nothing but up from there. Recovery and Wellness has been nothing but nice and empathetic. Just over a month and a half, I have felt a positive difference with my mood, motivation, relationships, happiness, and my body. My therapist and I connect via video chat on the weekends which makes it very convenient for my busy teenage life! Not only was I recommended by a friend, I have continued to recommend people I know when they mention they are struggling. Not only that, I found a lovely place that took my insurance (which not many places do) and it is in the same building where my pediatrician used to be, which gives lots of comfort and familiarity. This place has done nothing but benefit me and I’m so thankful :)

⭐ Google Review — Option 2 I work 10‑hour shifts at a steel plant and physically cannot make this shelter’s 4:30–5:00 PM dinner window. I arrived at 5:15 after picking up my birth certificate so I could get my license and start a second job. Staff refused to feed me even though other residents said they were given extras. When I said “God bless you,” the staff member got angry, dragged me into another room, accused me of being involved with someone kicked out for marijuana (false), and told me that if my name is “brought up again,” he’s been told to kick me out. Not if I break a rule — if my name is mentioned. I want to be clear: I am grateful for this shelter. They took me in when I otherwise would have been on the streets, and most of the staff treated me well. This review is not a reflection of the entire facility, but of select individuals who weaponize their authority when it suits them. Here’s the part that shows God’s timing: the church member I had spoken with knocked on the shelter door right after this conversation and connected me with a private landlord and friend. He even covered half of the payment for the apartment I’m now renting. The shelter tried to make me feel disposable. God opened a door they couldn’t close. Do not doubt His timing.

They give help in just about anything to health care, clothing, hygiene, work if your looking for a job and more. Just stay on their good side lol They helped me in the lowest point in my life. Love the staff. They listen to you . Medical is also great . If you are a no show or something they call you to check on you . The one on one is always great feel like I can tell them anything . I tell everyone I know to go to Bright view . I've been to a lot of treatment programs and this one in Centerville is by far the best I have been to . They also call me out on my bullshit but don't make me feel bad about myself or that I can't get back on track . They don't give up on you even if you e given up on yourself

Brightview has been my recovery home for six years now, and out of all the places I have received treatment, its by far the best. I started going there because someone told me they dont care about THC. This is true, they're chill about it. But I stayed because a) it actually felt like a doctor's office, instead of an apartment or house that had been rented to use as a treatment facility, and b) i felt and still feel like im actually cared for; they aren't just after my insurance claim. Last year I would have rated five stars. However, a change made last year has really stuck in my craw and upset me, and despite the feedback they've received from me and countless others, it's yet to be rolled back. Used to be, if you needed to speak to someone to find out what time your appt is, or get a message to your care team, you could call 24/7. NOW, only new patients can call and receive assistance after business hours. They contract their calls out to people who work from home, and they no longer have access to existing patient records after business hours. Maybe it's the industry standard, I wouldn't know. But it was and is still very disheartening, for people who work odd hours or sleep a lot due to depression 🙋‍♀️and cant always call during business hours. That's the ONLY reason I'm not giving 5*. I'm a patient at the Centerville office, and my girls there are truly like family to me. I've had several different doctors but its nothing like other facilities, with their revolving door of staff coming in and barely getting settled before theyre gone again. I got placed with a counselor who's been with brightview over 10 years, because i was tired of telling my life story over and over. I realized I had gotten everything I could out of a group setting, and they put me in a ghost group so I don't have to attend one anymore. Susan, my provider, is literally like the mom I always dreamed of having. She's so good at her job and she makes sure you know how much she cares for you. One last thing, since i know who is most likely reading these reviews. if youre on suboxone and tired of being ruled by a daily dose, consider the sublocade shot. They got me on it hwre. I was terrified because the withdrawal has always been so bad. With sublocade there was ZERO withdrawal as I made the switch, and ZERO withdrawal when tapering off. It takes about three months, and you're just OFF of it, without having to deal with any of the BS of withdrawal symptoms.

They heard me when I shared my needs and wants to build a foundation for my recovery program . They gave me the tools needed to have positive coping skills and learn how to respond to my problems instead of reacting. With the health issues coming in they provided transportation to make doctor appointments and dental needs . I truly felt I was apart of a FAMILY at they facility

Very good place to get your life back on track.... My mother is doing much better after 25 years!! She gave this place a shot and they have been excellent. There will always be some people who don't have respect or manners acting crazy but that doesn't mean everyone is like this. There are people who really go and are looking for help and just want to get themselves back to normal again. Don't let the bad ones knock this clinic ❤️❤️

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

Not sure why VA Health gets a bad reputation with facilities like the Dayton VA Medical Center around. I have been using this facility for a year now and its been nothing but a positive experience. Staff and doctors have been helpful, understanding, and have provided top notch care. This facility provides care for everything possible and if they cant fit you in they will refer you out to community care. Only negative thing I can say is after the new system was in place messaging has become a little less effective. Hopefully that will get better after everyone gets better using it.
