I have to admit that I came here with a very bad attitude and low expectations because I didn't want to be here. Nevertheless, they were so good and kind to me that they gained my trust and appreciation. Thanks to them I got sober, and I won my family and friends back. My son was taken by ambulance to this facility in Parkersburg West Virginia. We were out of state and this was our first emergency visit with our son. The staff was amazing and the Dr was the same! Our son ended up landing himself with four stitches in his forehead and as it was a very traumatic situation the staff was very reassuring and provided the utmost care and support. We were out of state 6 hours away and completely lost on what to do who to trust and the team gave me such relief to trust them with our baby boy. They did such a phenomenal job and he is doing great.

Chillicothe, OH | The Martha Cottrill Clinic is an outpatient therapy center in Chillicothe, Ohio. They offer counseling care for drug and alcohol addiction and other mental health needs. They really serve as a therapy clinic for anyone who needs help with not only addiction but coping with day to day life. This clinic is part of the Scioto Paint Valley Mental Heal | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Extremely happy with this place. I will say that I used to use the Circleville clinic (which I don't recommend) but I have now been using the Chillicothe clinic for about a year. The Chillicothe clinic is the polar opposite of the circleville clinic. Nate is a fantastic counselor. The entire staff is great though. You can even get your medications from their in house pharmacy. There is also a crisis center on location 24/7. I cannot recommend this place more than I already do. I will advocate for this place. If you're looking or on the fence, trust me - this IS the right place to be.

Sat there an asked me a multi question suicide questionnaire, then threw me out for being "suicidal". Stop all meds, and tried to have me 302d at a local hospital, that wouldn't even do it because I wasn't suicidal. Super boring, and confusing, because everything happens at certain times but there are no clocks. I guess just try to lie though everything, if you're honest they'll probably leave you stranded at the hospital with no ride.

The staff at Floyd Simantel have always gone out of their way to provide me with excellent service. I have been being treated there for almost 5 years and in that time I have been able to make great strides in creating a life worth living. Learning how to live and deal with my mental illness as well as my former substance use and abuse was not something they could do for me, I had to do the work, I had to show up, I had to be honest with myself. They helped me to learn a better way of life.
Reading the other review posted here, to me, is pathetic. They are not magicians who can cure you with a wave of their hand. Rebuilding a new and better life for yourself takes work, which includes making plans and taking action, is what they have helped me to do, but I was ready and wanted what they had to offer.
And I have always been treated with respect and dignity in the manner with which I have treated them.
My treatment has been totally outpatient so treatment is ongoing.

I love this place! The staff are all incredibly sweet. They have snacks & hot chocolate for when you’re in the induction room waiting on meds or your first time starting mat. They have either intensive outpatient or regular outpatient. The decision is based on the care they believe you need to succeed in your journey. Everyone is different. If you choose to do mat or come for groups/therapy, that’s your choice. As long as you’re not here from either jail or court. For me, I come once every week & I will soon go down yo bi weekly & then monthly. You have the option here to see a psychiatrist, which in my opinion is just great. Great place to be now. Doctors, counselors, nurses, etc. Better ran now than before.
Just took away a star because of how every time you need something and call and I needed to speak to my counselor for a minute has nothing to do with her but they want to know and ask and get rude if you don't tell them your private information that is supposed to be confidential..... Can’t get past the incompetence at the front desk. Called to ask if they call with appointment reminders. They told me my son was 18 and they couldn’t tell me that. Since when does asking if they do appointment reminders violate anything? Passed me to someone else and they said the same. This was the fourth attempt at making an appointment. The staff where very understanding and alot of people dont understand they cant break there rules or they get fired they are they to watch over u and make sure your not harming yourself or somone else. They are not therapist. So they are not there to listen to your problems. I was there for a month straight and watched how they treated people. And no if you sign yourself in there is certain criteria u have to meet before u go home. And if said person was to read the paperwork they would be aware of that. You get fed, showers, clothes and help. So to leave bad reviews when half of the people came from worse situations if un needed

Genuinely helped me so damn much, the doctor listened, the staff listened.
I really loved this place, I would've given 5 stars but they didn't give me back some stuff
a pair of pants
And a whole bunch of freshly refilled medication
And the place is insanely understaffed.
But overall, I reccomend this place!! (especially loved the point system and loved snack cart)
