A Veteran, I was rushed there via ambulance with acute psychiatric symptoms. In six days I was stable and discharged, as well as transported free, close to 100 miles from where I came from, which is the Herschel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Another fine VA Hospital. However, they lack acute psychiatric care units like the one at the Chillicothe VA. Very kind, caring, and efficient staff. The Mental Health Treatment Team at Chillicothe, sent a consult/referral for residential treatment. I am reporting to the Wade Park Domiciliary, Monday morning at 9am. The VA takes good care of their Veterans.

Staff is professional and takes time to know the patient and always makes sure you are always doing your best. They work with you and never show judgement. It is what it is, a methadone clinic. If you want to get sober it will work for you. If you don't want to get sober and want to play with methadone, we'll you'll get what's coming to you. All places have good and bad people but this program will work if you work it.

Hello I was a patient from 9-23-26 until 9-24-26 and I was housed embedded in 4/West 17 room. And I've got to say first and foremost above and beyond this is the best hospital that I had surgery and after care in and let me tell you it was five star care five star Grace five star respect and even the food was the best that I've had out of any hospital I stayed in. To the Doctor, the care team and any and all those involved thank you very much I am very grateful to have been placed in your hands of care in which I was able to let my guard down and trust. I spent 4 days at ARMC and had the best treatment. Everyone on floor 3B was absolutely fantastic! The nurses and PCAs were all very kind were able to provide me with whatever I needed. This was my first stay at this hospital and it couldn't have been better. The food was also delicious and the variety that they have is amazing. Thank you to everyone on 3B! I can't remember everyone's name but they are very special.

Theses people are amazing! They genuinely care,they teach you about why you use,how to think different. They help you deal with trauma. I can't say enough good things about the whole program. A member of my family goes here and they are always so nice and forgiving. Weve missed a couple appointments and they have yet to fire her as a patient. Her counselor Ally is amazing and makes her feel special. I cant believe I cant remember the front desk ladies name but she rocks too! And theyre always on time. The doctor is unique in a good way. If you dont understand something shell sit and talk to you for however long you need to understand. Hands down a great place for some mental health treatment!

Extremely happy with this place. I will say that I used to use the Circleville clinic (which I don't recommend) but I have now been using the Chillicothe clinic for about a year. The Chillicothe clinic is the polar opposite of the circleville clinic. Nate is a fantastic counselor. The entire staff is great though. You can even get your medications from their in house pharmacy. There is also a crisis center on location 24/7. I cannot recommend this place more than I already do. I will advocate for this place. If you're looking or on the fence, trust me - this IS the right place to be.

I was a patient at Adena Counseling for over a year and they gave me a list of numbers to call to find a new doctor because they did not have the time to see me on a regular basis. I started counseling here at Scioto a month ago and have been able to get in weekly for therapy immediately! This has taken a huge weight of my shoulders as I need consistent therapy. The staff is amazing and quick to answer questions. By far the best mental health services I have personally received in Ross County!

The staff at Floyd Simantel have always gone out of their way to provide me with excellent service. I have been being treated there for almost 5 years and in that time I have been able to make great strides in creating a life worth living. Learning how to live and deal with my mental illness as well as my former substance use and abuse was not something they could do for me, I had to do the work, I had to show up, I had to be honest with myself. They helped me to learn a better way of life. Reading the other review posted here, to me, is pathetic. They are not magicians who can cure you with a wave of their hand. Rebuilding a new and better life for yourself takes work, which includes making plans and taking action, is what they have helped me to do, but I was ready and wanted what they had to offer. And I have always been treated with respect and dignity in the manner with which I have treated them. My treatment has been totally outpatient so treatment is ongoing.

My experience with this place has been pretty great! My son has ADHD and he has always gotten good counseling and they've even listened to my issues to a certain extent also as a way to help my son. Also, the doctor that my son sees is very good with him and very careful not to over-medicate. Occasional trouble getting in touch with someone there would be my only issue.

Fayette Womens Residential saved me.....I was able to go in and actually tell people who I had never seen before my whole life. I was one who had to stay there twice and hada long journey of a prison stay before I was able to go home and live a life. I grew very close to the councelors there...I even wrote them from prison and let them know my progress and what I was doing that they taught me to be sober. Even after leaving prison and going home I knew that life would not be easy. I had to prepair myself for the fact I would never see my father again. I lost him in prison to an overdose to the evil drug that tore me down. I knew that I would never use heroin again! Today still 3 and a half years off heroin its a struggle. Ladies its not am easy road. Hard work has to be put in to remain sober! I just wanted to share a little about my experience there. Thanks so much all of you for helping me. I'm sure you know who I am! Thanks!

It can be a scary and painful process going through any program I suspect. But The Ridge staff and their support program made it a very compassionate, Informative, and a truly helpful process. The accommodations were excellent. From counseling through the course work and group work, the program Is a fine balance of healing, education and preparation. Every member of the staff from the cooks and the counselors to the doctors and administration, all were genuinely concerned with my overall well-being and recovery. I highly recommend The Ridge for anyone seriously considering changing their future for the better.

There is alot more freedom here than other places. I think more personal counseling would be beneficial with trauma. No caffeine and no sugar took some getting used to but i got so healthy while being there, I felt great when I left! I had a medical emergency while in residential treatment and the input i got from Dr.Soto was completely wrong, i can count on one hand how many times i interacted her, she had no idea what she was talking about but the rest of the staff made up for that. Overall I had a great experience at the Ridge. I would recommend this to everyone. The staff is amazing and they genuinely care about what's going on in your life ❤️

Brightview has been my recovery home for six years now, and out of all the places I have received treatment, its by far the best. I started going there because someone told me they dont care about THC. This is true, they're chill about it. But I stayed because a) it actually felt like a doctor's office, instead of an apartment or house that had been rented to use as a treatment facility, and b) i felt and still feel like im actually cared for; they aren't just after my insurance claim. Last year I would have rated five stars. However, a change made last year has really stuck in my craw and upset me, and despite the feedback they've received from me and countless others, it's yet to be rolled back. Used to be, if you needed to speak to someone to find out what time your appt is, or get a message to your care team, you could call 24/7. NOW, only new patients can call and receive assistance after business hours. They contract their calls out to people who work from home, and they no longer have access to existing patient records after business hours. Maybe it's the industry standard, I wouldn't know. But it was and is still very disheartening, for people who work odd hours or sleep a lot due to depression 🙋‍♀️and cant always call during business hours. That's the ONLY reason I'm not giving 5*. I'm a patient at the Centerville office, and my girls there are truly like family to me. I've had several different doctors but its nothing like other facilities, with their revolving door of staff coming in and barely getting settled before theyre gone again. I got placed with a counselor who's been with brightview over 10 years, because i was tired of telling my life story over and over. I realized I had gotten everything I could out of a group setting, and they put me in a ghost group so I don't have to attend one anymore. Susan, my provider, is literally like the mom I always dreamed of having. She's so good at her job and she makes sure you know how much she cares for you. One last thing, since i know who is most likely reading these reviews. if youre on suboxone and tired of being ruled by a daily dose, consider the sublocade shot. They got me on it hwre. I was terrified because the withdrawal has always been so bad. With sublocade there was ZERO withdrawal as I made the switch, and ZERO withdrawal when tapering off. It takes about three months, and you're just OFF of it, without having to deal with any of the BS of withdrawal symptoms.

This is the best clinic I have been to so far and I've been in treatment for over 10 years. Highly recommend this place to anyone look to start.The dr and counselors are very nice and willing to help you with your problems and really care. I switched because they offer split dosing because I was getting sick later in the day and all the other place didn't want to help but it is really going to be a big improvement for me.

I would like to say that I enjoyed my stay here. All of the staff were amazing. When you ask them to do something for you, they get right on it. They didn’t give me any lip about it, they just did it. Everyone plays their role very well. I didn’t think that I’d have fun at a rehab but I did. The staff is so down to earth and very personable. Special shout out to Marti, Tarynn, Sharon and all of the bht staff. I would have given 5 stars but, yall have to work on the food quality and the facility being a bit more cleaner; like the carpets and the kitchen.
