They work efficiently and effectively although I think they could make the hospital bigger Dakota 1 month ago They saved my dad's life in a matter of 30 minutes when the hospital he was transferred out of was going to let him die because they couldn't figure out what was wrong so they let him lay in icu for 4 days. My mother and I got tired of their lack of knowledge so we insisted to have him transferred. He got admitted into genesis and what the hospital he was in couldn't figure it out in the 4 days he was there genesis figured it out in 30 minutes. He was septic due to kidney failure that went undetected. Genesis got him straightened out and he started dialysis. Ive always said Genesis added another 10 years to his life❤️. In 2016 my mom had a heart attack and got transferred from the hospital that was giving up on my dad which I wasn't happy about her going to that hospital to begin with but it was the closest. I immediately told the staff to get her stable enough to travel to genesis. I insisted! She got transferred and had heart surgery here at genesis. The heart surgeon and his staff was outstanding! 10 years later mom is facing another heart procedure and we have to be here at genesis tomorrow morning. Im nervous for her because no one wants to see their loved one have anything done but if you have no choice in the matter I couldn't pick a better hospital to have it done in. A man in his position doesn’t have to make your problems his problems but that’s exactly what he does for anyone needing help. He personally helped me with seemingly little things but important to me and he didn’t act like they were little he acted like they were important to him. That’s the kind of care you can expect to get at this facility top notch. Being surrounded by nursing and clinical staff that did everything within their power to create a safe and peaceful environment was crucial for my first month in sobriety, and Harmony's Walker location made that a reality. Most facilities do not have the staff or patience to go the extra mile and accommodate the spiritual needs that some individuals have, but Harmony did that and some for me. I didn't interact with a single member of their team that didn't genuinely care and show that they had the experience to get me through what I was facing, and when I hit a point that I needed more than mandated groups Josh H.'s kayaking trips and hikes got me through. For those saying that this place is a joke - they've either failed drug screens, broken the rules or not made their intentions clear. I am one among hundreds who have been saved through this center. Great staff. Just yesterday I had an appointment at this clinic. Afterwards I went to Rural king and dropped a salt lick block on my toe. Worried that it might be broken, I returned to the clinic. As a walk in, I asked the clerk if they do X-rays and explained my situation. She said take a sit, they'll be right with you. Not 10 minutes later, I had my X-ray taken and I was out the door heading home. I am very blessed to have access to this clinic. Got to room on the 4th floor and the shift change was happening. The 2 nurses I had for the night were awesome, Ashley and Taylor. They took very good care of me! These are 2 special young ladies. This was not continuous , it was a total of 5 stays. The only real complaint I had is the fact that I was on a clear or full liquids diet for most of my stay and being a diabetic there were not a lot of choices for me. I kept my door shut always because of noise so I never heard anything. Thank you for much for your excellent care of me.
