A swallow , a cough , cold drink , a yawn , just about anything. After putting up with this for about 3 months it got so bad that after my wife badgered me to go to Genesis ER I decided to go to ER to get some help. I thought this had something to do with a sore throat but found out after having CT scan and MRI that I had something called Glassopharyngeal Neuralgia (GPN). Was prescribed Tegretol XR turned out to be a miracle drug.Completely stopped the pain. I don't know who give the credit for this but I want to thank the whole ER personel dept for their great work . Update im 4 years sober now. 2025 New update ill be 10 years sober in January i couldnt be happier. If your thinking about getting help do it give it a try i no longer wake up in pain or having to make "those" phone calls im able to eat breakfast. I can spend time with the people I love. Great staff. Just yesterday I had an appointment at this clinic. Afterwards I went to Rural king and dropped a salt lick block on my toe. Worried that it might be broken, I returned to the clinic. As a walk in, I asked the clerk if they do X-rays and explained my situation. She said take a sit, they'll be right with you. Not 10 minutes later, I had my X-ray taken and I was out the door heading home. I am very blessed to have access to this clinic. I was treated for sepsis. Never had this level of care before. Five stars Jason 1 month ago I spent nearly 2 weeks in this hospitol in January and another 3 weeks in March. The nurses and doctors took excellent care of me. This was not continuous , it was a total of 5 stays. The only real complaint I had is the fact that I was on a clear or full liquids diet for most of my stay and being a diabetic there were not a lot of choices for me. I kept my door shut always because of noise so I never heard anything. Thank you for much for your excellent care of me.
