HRS is where all my recovery seeds were planted more than 18 years ago. I went to Bassett House willing at 15. The staff at HRS and Bassett were AMAZING! The nurse from Bassett is still in my contacts to this day! Has it been easy? No. Has it been worth ot. Yes! I would highly reccomend! The aftercare will be just as crutial!

I was a patient at Stanton Villa from January to the last week of February and I'll admit in the beginning I definitely did not want to be there and was ready to leave my very first day there but I stuck it out and I am so glad I did because I feel like a whole new person . I am not yet where I want to be but I am so far from where I was and I am well on my way to having full custody of my kids back. I see them every-day . My relationship with my family has gotten better they're trusting me again. I am only a few days from being 120 days clean and Inone of that would be happening if it wasn't for Stanton Villa and their amazing staff . You can go toa number of rehabs maybe 10 days , maybe 30 days, on up to a year or more whether your there ten days or a year or more no amount of time will magically fix someone a person has to truly want help or all the help in the world wouldn't work. You can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves. So for some of things I've read on the reviews if it didn't work for you that's no ones fault but your own .Some people may need a longer program some may not . Just because it didn't work for some doesn't mean that it won't work for others . I could go in and on all day but one thing I learned while I was at Stanton Villa you keep what you have by giving it away

Nevertheless, they were so good and kind to me that they gained my trust and appreciation. Thanks to them I got sober, and I won my family and friends back. Genesis staff are all so caring, professional and compassionate, from the head physician of the multiple departments involved to the housekeeping staff...all were concerned with not only my family member's well being but, mine as well. They continually made sure that we were informed about the procedures that were needed, our options, risks & benefits and what could be expected. The whole staff treated us like family and made an unexpected illness a less scary situation. I can't imagine anywhere that he would have received better care. Best IOP program , they provided my transportation to and from, the drivers Terry, Stephanie and Jacob, and Billy were always respectful. THE IOP program ran by Ellisha Seabolt(peer) and Rudy Drummon (therapist)are just amazing, so helpful, fair, and knowledgeable. They too are in recovery, which helps you feel that more comfortable and you can be completely open and honest with absolutely no judgement. St. Joseph's Recovery Center holds a special place in my heart. I once was a client here myself 4 years ago, and now I work here as a Peer Support Specialist. Most of the staff here and in recovery themselves so the clients can really relate to them. The team I work with is ore like family than coworkers. I have a friend who is helped by this facility. They are WONDERFUL about taking your calls and addressing immediate problems. Other places in Charleston (a particular doctor who has since retired) never helped them like this place does. Erin Neff in particular is wonderful and does a beautiful job!

HRS is where all my recovery seeds were planted more than 18 years ago. I went to Bassett House willing at 15. The staff at HRS and Bassett were AMAZING! The nurse from Bassett is still in my contacts to this day! Has it been easy? No. Has it been worth ot. Yes! I would highly reccomend! The aftercare will be just as crutial!
