The nurse from Bassett is still in my contacts to this day! Has it been easy? No. Has it been worth ot. Yes! I would highly reccomend! The aftercare will be just as crutial!

I’ve been going to Prestera for 3 years. Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. She evaluated by asking key questions and engaged with explaining things to me in a way I could understand. She interacted with back and forth conversation and really put a lot of thought into selecting medication that would help me. She took the time to listen to all the meds I had tried in the past that failed and I am so grateful for the effort and level of care she provided to me.
The building is old but they are doing renovations on it. But seriously it’s not the building that matters it’s the staff and the quality of care to really help individuals with a workable plan of treatment. They are on the ball and fakers beware. You won’t fool these professionals they know their stuff. Best care I have ever gotten. I’m sad to be moving out of state and I hope I can find a mental health team as dedicated as this one but if it wasn’t for them helping me lay the groundwork for my life I wouldn’t be moving ahead into a functional future. I’m getting married. When I started with Prestera 3 years ago I would have never imagined I could grow this much or move forward in life to this extent to have such a bright future ahead. Thank you to the Prestera team for helping me heal.

Prestera has changed so much since I was last seen there. My therapist Kristen is the best and she actually cares about my mental health. She has helped me overcome so much and is keeping me focused on my goals. On top of that, her office is warm and inviting. Prestera is stepping up and I highly recommend Kristen, she's awesome.

SROs truly gave me a safe friendly environment to grow in my recovery.. it's a drug free environment with friendly management and staff.. that holds me accountable with random drug screens which Im happy to take. Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. I am beyond grateful to the hospital and everyone there I came into contact with today at the emergency room. I went in with 10/10 pain in my face, jaw, and neck.
Backstory: earlier in the week 8/10 pain sent me to a different ER close to my office, where the care was subpar, to say the least, and I didn't receive a diagnosis. The following day I went to my PCP (based on the ER instructions) who sent me to an ENT specialist the following day, again, with no answers other than some antibiotics, a steroid pack, and a follow-up appointment in two weeks.
Fast forward three days, the pain had increased to 10/10, and the swelling had become much more pronounced. I decided to go to Marietta Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, which turned out to be the best decision possible. From the moment I walked in, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. My RN, Rebekah, was extraordinarily calming and caring, and Dr. Gonzales came in moments later and was very thorough, thoughtful, and compassionate. She ordered meds and a CT scan, and while on break, Dr. Jarrell came in to follow up with me. Within 30 minutes of arrival, they had my pain under control and my CT completed. Once the CT results came back, BOTH doctors came back in to discuss the problem with me, explained what was wrong, why I was experiencing these symptoms, and had scheduled an appointment for me tomorrow with an oral surgeon. They were both very patient, calming, and keen to answer questions and offer advice. Keep in mind, they accomplished this scheduling feat on a Sunday, with a surgeon whose office was obviously closed.
In conclusion, this was the best ER experience I ever recall having in my 43 years. If the need ever comes up for me or any member of my family, rest assured that I will be going to Marietta Memorial ER. A HUGE thank-you to everyone there on staff today. You guys and gals were incredible.

Great program... Ran by addicts (mostly)for addicts. They offer a great team that offers mental health also. They offer genetic testing to see what meds are best for the individual. After 30 days you can work and there is a lot of freedoms that other rehabs don't have. Safe environment that drug test almost everyday. High success rates from what I've seen. I've been here 7 weeks and look forward to the next 5 weeks.

This ICU has the best nurses around! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Robert. We really appreciate your staffs kindness and support through the cancer journey. In the end thank you for the honesty, compassion, kindness and love as we came to terms with what was ahead of us.
Pancreatic Cancer may have taken Robert from us but with your help we got to spend a month enjoying him and his love for us. You went above and beyond to make a dream come true! The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.

I went to Parkersburg and graduated in February 2019 n I have remained sober. It will be 5 years in April. I would like to thank Robert Diddle, Jimbob dalton and Travis stringer. I appreciate the amount of love and support they gave us!!

This place has saved my life, the entire staff is absolutely awesome. Dr. Bean is a great Dr. all the counselors are very understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend going here, I actually look forward to groups. The entire atmosphere is very welcoming.
