My previous doctor had abruptly moved to Spain and being stranded without a referral to ensure no lapses in prescription refills was very difficult. They were very empathetic and treated my situation with urgency. They continue to accommodate any scheduling conflicts I have and go out of their way to make sure my medication is sent on time. She made sure not to rush the process (I had this poor woman on the phone FOREVER) and answered every question I had with enthusiasm and kindness and let me speak with Lindsey (who was also amazing) to make sure my specific questions were answered correctly before returning back to her to complete scheduling. She was incredibly professional (they both were) and very personable, incredibly understanding, and extremely helpful. She made a very intimidating process super delightful and less overwhelming. My therapist and I connect via video chat on the weekends which makes it very convenient for my busy teenage life! Not only was I recommended by a friend, I have continued to recommend people I know when they mention they are struggling. Not only that, I found a lovely place that took my insurance (which not many places do) and it is in the same building where my pediatrician used to be, which gives lots of comfort and familiarity. Appointments are quick and productive & the staff cares and is understanding if you make a mistake or come to them with an issue. William Sears 1 month ago Brightview has been my recovery home for six years now, and out of all the places I have received treatment, its by far the best. I started going there because someone told me they dont care about THC. This is true, they're chill about it. But I stayed because a) it actually felt like a doctor's office, instead of an apartment or house that had been rented to use as a treatment facility, and b) i felt and still feel like im actually cared for; they aren't just after my insurance claim. Last year I would have rated five stars. However, a change made last year has really stuck in my craw and upset me, and despite the feedback they've received from me and countless others, it's yet to be rolled back. Used to be, if you needed to speak to someone to find out what time your appt is, or get a message to your care team, you could call 24/7. NOW, only new patients can call and receive assistance after business hours. They contract their calls out to people who work from home, and they no longer have access to existing patient records after business hours. Maybe it's the industry standard, I wouldn't know. But it was and is still very disheartening, for people who work odd hours or sleep a lot due to depression 🙋‍♀️and cant always call during business hours. That's the ONLY reason I'm not giving 5*. I'm a patient at the Centerville office, and my girls there are truly like family to me. I've had several different doctors but its nothing like other facilities, with their revolving door of staff coming in and barely getting settled before theyre gone again. I got placed with a counselor who's been with brightview over 10 years, because i was tired of telling my life story over and over. I realized I had gotten everything I could out of a group setting, and they put me in a ghost group so I don't have to attend one anymore. Susan, my provider, is literally like the mom I always dreamed of having. She's so good at her job and she makes sure you know how much she cares for you. One last thing, since i know who is most likely reading these reviews. if youre on suboxone and tired of being ruled by a daily dose, consider the sublocade shot. They got me on it hwre. I was terrified because the withdrawal has always been so bad. With sublocade there was ZERO withdrawal as I made the switch, and ZERO withdrawal when tapering off. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health.
