This is a review for a wonderful Lady, Jessie Russell, contract health. Jessie, is on top of things. I never have to worry, getting my referral’s & she has hit the ball out of the park. The surgeon’s she made sure was very good at their job before sending anywhere. I am 4 surgies down since December 16, 2024. Everything goes so smooth when she is the one taking care of me💕 she does what she says she will do. Jessie, is definitely a huge asset for Cherokee Nation-Vinita Clinic. I came into the outpatient area of the hospital today to have my very first mammogram ever. The lady, and I so apologize that I cannot remember her name, because she was fantastic, was absolutely a pro! She put me at ease, she explained everything as she was doing it and before she did it, she was very quick, but thorough, and just made that experience a piece of cake! I highly recommend if anyone has been putting off a mammogram to make an appointment at Saint Francis in Vinita! You will not regret that decision!

Just a few weeks ago I had to take a trip to the ER because I thought I had vertigo. I went to a different ER first and they let me lay there an hour and a half in massive pain so I went back home. By 9:30 that night I couldn't move my entire right side. I couldn't stand upright without falling over. So I had a friend of mine take me to St Francis ER. I cannot remember the attending Dr's last name, Brian was his first name. He was right on his game, there was no wait time, and he had to have known exactly what was wrong because he gave me the right scans and tests and found a cancerous tumor in my brain. As soon as he got a chance He called and located a neurosurgeon at Tulsa hospital and had a room ready for me before I even left the ER. He and his staff I am eternally grateful to. The security guard that was on duty that night was also extremely helpful and concerned. I've never been more impressed. I had my brain surgery 4 days ago so tumor free now. Thank you Dr Brian I truly appreciate you and your staff. God Bless you

Best most through eye exam I have ever had and I've been in glasses since I was 10. So relaxing I was falling asleep. The most helpful when picking out frames. I got down many frames and they didn't even seem to mind, super nice and helpful. They called yesterday to tell me my glasses are in. 12 days. Far cry from 6- 8 weeks!!! I moved to GROVE in November and did not establish a primary care yet, but I was sick about three weeks ago with whatever it is it’s going around. I called the VINITA clinic sincr they’re larger. They said they had no idea if they could get me in even though I would come as a walk-in, they said they usually just take established patients Which can take a month or more. I call Jay. They got me right in that day. The doctor I saw was wonderful. He acted like he had all the time in the world. He explained things really well and I probably did not have to wait over 10 minutes to see him

Great speakers and info! Learning the different perspectives and how the RPs, Directors, IT, and HR, and even finance works together was great. Lovingoood was the high point! I voluntarily went in for detox to begin my journey to recovery. I was very observant during my treatment, I read all the reviews before hand and they made me nervous about going. But I took a leap of faith and went for it, I’m ready to start my next chapter!
Is everything perfect, no. But the staff (ALL of them) were very kind and accommodating during my three days there. Is it a 5 Star resort, not even close. If you go in with a good attitude, and simply be kind and courteous, I believe you’ll see quickly what I did. It’s just the beginning of the journey, not the final destination.

The crisis unit in Jay, the staff, therapists, doctor or doctors, case workers, after care, are the very best. They should be funded to the max and expanded to teach other care givers in this Country, how to help people who suffer with mental illness.

Always made me feel welcome and part of a family. UPDATE 5 yrs later and Jarra will still answer her phone and help me, talk and remind me about the good qualities that I have.( 4 months later update) So this is my update October 2024 my daughter is at Resonance after she got out of prison and she loves it and is so proud of herself that I talked her into it so. This is coming from someone who stayed a week. Mr. Jimmy had amazing food and Mr. Corey, Ms. Tabitha was positive except for when she called a girls sister annoying because she was sick and Ms. Tabitha was making excuses for why her sister couldn't talk. This is such an awesome place to go to! I’ve been going here for almost two years and the staff and counselors at this location are just simply amazing! The nurses at the windows, the amazing staff at the front desk, and all the way to back to the director and Doctor of this clinic are absolutely the most down to earth, friendliest people I’ve ever met! If you have a strong mind and you really want better for yourself I highly recommend this clinic is the best for you! CTC has absolutely been an amazing experience for me and will continue to be! When it comes to this sort of thing there are always going to be stressful days, and hard times, but this is a great clinic with good people and the environment feels safe. The ladies in the front are awesome, and are always kind and understanding and they have bright smiles even when it’s early in the morning. Angela is so easy to vibe with and she has a great sense of humor and a personality anyone can relate to. Ty (Theia) is an amazing counselor who is also very easy to vibe with and talk to, and that’s a big deal when it comes to being able to talk to counselors. She’s someone you feel like you can be honest with and be able to talk about any potential bad times and you won’t feel shamed or judged when talking to her. Cheryl is also amazing with great style and she will ease your mind when it’s time for a needle prick for labs. Thank you everyone at CTC for working hard every morning for us!

This is a great clinic with some great people working there. They did more than anyone could ever as to accommodate me and really went above and beyond to make sure I could get into MAT. I personally did not have long term success here but that has more to do with my not being ready as well as having unrealistic expectations for things that are out of their control and are policies and procedures that are actually written into law for how all MAT clinics are to operate. Everyone that I interacted with there provided a level of care that I was satisfied with. I did like some more than others but I feel it was more due to subjective factors and personal preferences. Considering the alternatives, this clinic and especially the staff there really do go above and beyond. I don’t think people realize that they are not required to do a lot of the things they do to try and help people. Like I can say I would not have been as patient with me if I were the one working there. They really made something that I was dreading and convinced would be horrible something that was in the end not too bad and much more pleasant and really a lot easier than I expected. I cannot recommend them enough.

I'm an army veteran I can only say this is the only good thing about Muskogee Oklahoma the fact that I can go to the VA and get certain things and Medical Care sometimes it's good but there's doctors up there that I don't agree with there's been times where I have to stay forcefully and go in front of a judge that I know already from childhood and it's quite irritating because he looked at me as a child and as a veteran and it's hard to distinguish if he's punishing me for being mentally ill or for something I did it back in my teenage years having a mental illness is not easy you have to deal with people asking you stupid things like why are you so excited all the time well it's better than being suicidal like all my friends who killed herself in the past behind drinking and drugs and the fact that they couldn't get any help at their local VA I hope that the VA will separate civilians and Veterans it's not a good thing to have him so close in the same area all the time civilians don't really know what we go through because they don't go through anything they left a mark they hang up the phone they're very disrespectful and they really need to do a revamp on the employment the only time anyone is nice at the VA is when it's a holiday for the veterans that seems like the only time they care but throughout the rest of the year it's all hurry up over counseling appointment oh never mind

The Metal health care facility is amazing. The Dr's RNs and CNA's are caring and well organized.
I really appreciate how well I was treated and even the Nintendo Bowling!
The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds could use an upgrade, although I still was able to get sleep on them.
I had a 3 day stay and left in much better condition than I came in.

I’m 29 now but when I went to jack brown it was a really good program we got to connect with our native heritage there stick ball sweat lodges Indian tacos etc at graduation I got a blanket I still I have to this day

Jack Brown Center helps Native American juveniles to stop an active addiction while learning to live and cope without the source for the addiction. The staff that was there during my stay was an exceptional group of people. A day is always busy with a large variety of activities such as basketball, kickball, weight lifting, trust fall, disc golf, 12 step meeting's, chess, billiards, Native American chants, going in a Cherokee(I think) sweat lodge, help cooking meals once earned, learning to sew, and my favorite game we referred to as, hoccer, which involved a massive 5' or 6' yoga like ball. At the time I didn't always see it, but the rules were reasonable and helpful such as room had to stay clean, bed was made daily and one form of discipline for breaking rules was to write out a given sentence about the infraction many times. I was even allowed to paint the Choctaw nation seal on the wall while there, although my time was done before I was able to finish so hopefully someone else did. This changed my life drastically and I am always thankful for my experience at the Jack Brown Center!
