I've attended BestCare in Madras for several years now since coming over with Dr. Montee, the prescribing doctor from the program through Mosaic. The people are very kind and considerate, you don't feel judged which is great because coming into treatment can be stressful enough for some. It's one of the best places to start if your serious about getting and living sober! It takes hard work on our end of course but having the right support makes all the difference.

Best Care saved my life and gave me my life back! When I decided to check myself into treatment I had never been in trouble with the law but I had a drug problem that took my life from me and I had lost everything. So I checked myself into treatment at Best Care and they helped me get clean and stay clean. My counsler there was amazing. She believed in me and gave me the hope I needed to stay clean. They have a wonderful team there as well. My Recovery mentor helped me every step of the way and stayed by my side while I learned to have control over my life and my recovery. I have been going here for about 3-4 years. They are not perfect, staff come and go, and there is a constant battle to occupy your days with treatment. One week your doing things one way, the next week, somebody does something to change the rules completely. All that said, coming here was one of the best decisions I ever made. They tell you what you don't want to hear because they are trying to get through to you. They take up your time because you shouldn't trust being by yourself, you might not have the tools to be alone or in control of your own time. It is costly, you are going to have to pool your resources just to get through this, but you were already making yourself broke from your addiction. I relapsed and left them, they took me back without hesitation. They care. They will try their best to work with you and they expect you to do the same, a very simple contract that just might save your life.

Hello my name is Nazairea! I have been with bestcare for many years now. This review is for Billy Cartwright, and my drug counselor Jamie. They are by far the most professional, attentive, and accommodating. Addiction is not easy but they truly do help you see the light at the end of the tunnel while avoiding so many of the negative emotions and setbacks you're bound to experience. They have made me feel so comfortable with them, and given me most of if not all the skills and coping mechanisms I use today. To finally be on the path of independence and success is more than I was hoping for starting with them! But knowing they are always there as well is a huge comfort. If I could recommend anyone it is hands down bestcare 10/10 I love all the staff members here!

What a horrible experience from the front desk and Daphne who needs some serious help with listening to clients and needs anger management. She's not well trained dealing with meds or patients constantly talking over you and blames you for when she forgets something very rude and has zero class. Avoid this facility at all costs. Your mental health will drop due to her pettiness. I was warned about her from her coworker and I didn't listen.

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.

Adapt turned my life around. Its intense, but you learn so much from different perspectives, the environment is so supportive, and they give you access to a dietician, grief counselor, psychiatrist, and Occupational Therapist. They also offer individual counseling. Adapt gave me the hope I've never had about my mental health.

This place is actually trying to help you stay sober. I belong to another clinic (for the moment) and I have curtesy dosed here before and had an emergency where I couldn’t get back to my home clinic in time and Amy and Betty Anne (excuse my spelling) and the Front Desk did everything they possibly could to help me get emergency dosing for the day with them even though it was close to closing time. I plan on switching to their clinic closer to my home as soon as I can. They truly want to help you stay sober. They will do whatever they possibly can to help you and be on your team. I truly believe this clinic is the BEST clinic there is. I would give the specific aspects of my treatment 4 stars since I cannot rate the overall program fairly, as I was really burnt out from Monte Nido treatment; it being my 3rd time at Rainrock and having 3 prior admissions to EDCP. There were 2 large factors that played into my success post discharge which I can credit the program for. To start out, my admission was ultimately my decision but I felt forced into the program because the referral was made without my permission and the referral to my program of choice was rescinded. I came bearing teeth and was met with nothing but respect and a gentle challenge to stick it through a week. And I did. I credit the gains I made (no pun intended) to a phenomenal therapist. That was one factor in remaining there. The other helpful aspect was being allowed to do community passes a month before I discharged. Under previous leadership during my first 2 stays, passes weren't granted in 2013 to anyone but with family members on level 2, friends on level 3, and solo passes were a level 4 privilege. In 2015 you were allowed to go on passes with friends on level 2 but not solo until level 3. Rarely does insurance cover someone up to that point. I had significant exposure to real life before my departure and felt prepared to return to work 2 days after discharge. I didn't step down to day treatment and it was ultimately unnecessary. I'm grateful that the policy changed (or that it helped to have the regional director as your therapist, backing the decision) and that I received my treatment pre COVID, as passes are not currently allowed. I don't need a scripted response from the corporate office in Florida--I just wanted to relay my gratitude.

I had a very inhumane experience here. I set up an appointment, was literally in pain at the office and they turned me away, bc I was two minutes past the grace period. Additionally, I could never, ever get in touch with my doctor or see my doctor, because there were no availabilities and she never had time to respond to my messages. I love the heart and concept of this clinic and the services it provides. You must change your policies. There are too many patients and it's causing the quality of care to decline significantly. I truly hope you think through this and realize it's also impacting the doctors. They are so stressed, they have no time to respond to the patients they already have. It's inhumane and not okay. Please fix. Thanks.

Attending this drug and alcohol recovery class has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. From the very first session, I felt welcomed, respected, and supported. The instructors are not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. Many of them have walked this path themselves, and their honesty and openness made the entire experience feel safe and judgment-free. The curriculum is extremely well-structured, blending science-based education with practical tools for real-life situations. We covered everything from the biology of addiction to strategies for managing cravings, setting boundaries, and building healthy habits. What really stood out was the emphasis on self-reflection, accountability, and growth. Each class challenged me to think differently and gave me a deeper understanding of both addiction and recovery. Group discussions were powerful and healing. Hearing other people’s stories—and being able to share my own—created a sense of community that I hadn’t felt in years. We lifted each other up, held each other accountable, and celebrated even the smallest victories together. What sets this program apart is its focus on long-term success. Mental health is beyond important; they accept Medicaid. I'd be in a much worse space if a friend hadn't steered me to New Perspectives. I dont know how I would have made it through some bad experiences without my counselor.

I've been going to New Perspectives for almost a month now. I'm seeing Vickie. I enjoy talking with her because she really understands trauma. She helps me see myself in a different light. I hope to learn some skills to get my anxiety under control and feel better about myself in general. Therapy is scary but I believe it's worth it. I would definitely recommend NP to someone if I knew they needed help.
