I've attended BestCare in Madras for several years now since coming over with Dr. Montee, the prescribing doctor from the program through Mosaic. The people are very kind and considerate, you don't feel judged which is great because coming into treatment can be stressful enough for some. It's one of the best places to start if your serious about getting and living sober! It takes hard work on our end of course but having the right support makes all the difference.

Amazing facility, stellar staff, classes that are actually helpful and routine based rehab. I can't express fully how much this place helped me. If you care to help yourself, this place will get you where you need to be. If you're struggling with addiction, this is a good place to start. The nurses are all kind and straightforward, professional, and just easy to be around, which goes a long way when you're trying to overcome addiction. Every person who worked here during my stay went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay and that you were comfortable, fed, and not suffering. The doctor was also very compassionate, doing all he could to ensure comfort while not feeding your addiction. My only problem was me as I left early, which was a very stupid thing to do. I should have stayed... All in all, this is a great place to start.

Nurse Amanda Underwood. Practice better listening and coming up with solutions instead of shutting down everything we say and nearly arguing and nit picking on what we are doing wrong. Listen to the patients suggestions and come up with a solution for the symptoms. I already know everything you tried to educate on. But again you did not listen and did not work toward resolving the symptoms instead told us what we already knew. Rude, cold, snappy, not friendly. Even my 14 year old was not impressed. Will never see her again.

I must share that I’m super impressed with the Medical Doctors, PAs, Nurses, lab technicians and all staff at this clinic. They are very caring, very compassionate, they listen, they take action, they are very communicative and quick to respond to your needs, and all are extremely competent in their respective areas. They never seem like they are trying to hurry up your appointment, they take their time to fully understand all of your needs. The office is very clean, welcoming and well appointed. Parking is easy and close. I highly recommend this entire clinic!!

I love this place. My dad had to come here for his DUII treatment. My dads health and cognition have been declining and they were so good at working with us to make sure he got treatment and finished even with all his limitations! Thank you to the front desk lady for always answering the phone promptly for the color of the day, and Adam for being so empathetic towards my dad! Highly recommend.

Hello my name is Nazairea! I have been with bestcare for many years now. This review is for Billy Cartwright, and my drug counselor Jamie. They are by far the most professional, attentive, and accommodating. Addiction is not easy but they truly do help you see the light at the end of the tunnel while avoiding so many of the negative emotions and setbacks you're bound to experience. They have made me feel so comfortable with them, and given me most of if not all the skills and coping mechanisms I use today. To finally be on the path of independence and success is more than I was hoping for starting with them! But knowing they are always there as well is a huge comfort. If I could recommend anyone it is hands down bestcare 10/10 I love all the staff members here!

Chris is an ankle whisperer. I was told by 3 surgeons I would need extensive surgery and the best case recovery was 90%. Chris had me back to mobility, strength, and doing all my normal activities in 6 weeks. I had been out of commission for 9 months and would not have believed it if it hadn't happened to me. If you’re reading this, then there is some part of you that knows you need help breaking addict behavior, and there is absolutely no shame in that! Once you discover what’s going on under the hood… it will make sense, and being in a group with people with the same issues, under the guidance of well trained … and caring professionals… makes for a more real you, and a better life. Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. From the very first phone call, the staff at Treehouse made me feel heard, supported, and helped to ease my mind that help was available and change was possible. I could tell from the initial conversations on the phone that was a place that truly cared for each and every client. That same empathetic and welcoming attitude was expressed and carried on at every other step of the process. Embarking on the treatment journey was a time in my life marked by fear and uncertainty but with Treehouse, I knew I had the best support possible and was certainly in great hands. Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. At a time when things felt beyond repair, they stepped in and gave him not just support, but a real chance at living again. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet. When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. Through my husband Treehouse met me right where I was offering suggestions for a straight transition into sober living for women, giving me a safe and structured environment where I could begin to rebuild. For a full year, I worked on myself in ways I never had before. During that time, Treehouse didn’t just check in—they actively supported my growth through their family program facilitating weekly therapy sessions that helped me understand myself, my patterns, and my path forward. Their presence didn’t end there. Years later, Treehouse was still standing beside our family during one of the most challenging chapters of our lives—our court-mandated reunification. They ensured our son had access to therapy, advocating for healing not just individually, but as a family. Their continued support reminded us that recovery is not a moment in time—it’s an ongoing journey, and no one should have to walk it alone. Today, I can say with certainty that Treehouse has been an integral part of our success. They didn’t just help us get sober—they helped us build a life beyond what we ever thought possible. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

I have been to several treatment centers in the Portland area over the past decade and this is the ONLY treatment center that I have EVER been able to both GET clean and STAY clean at! 1st time in 2018 (clean for 18 months) and now this time (started back here in 2023).....
