I had a great experience in treatment here. My therapist, Sam, was especially helpful in working through some of my personal issues. All of the BHTs made sure that my experience with housing went as smoothly as possible. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking mental health or substance use treatment.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I started out here on methadone, then left and came back on suboxine and now go there for the brixadi shot. All of the staff are so nice, easy to talk to and supportive. My counselor Jackie is the by far the best councelor I’ve ever sat down with in all my years in and out of addiction. She truly cares, and will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. All the nurses are so great and easy to talk to. I highly recommend somerdale treatment center to anyone battling addiction and trying to work their way toward recovery.

This was my first time at treatment so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place was great! The staff were so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend RCA to anyone who is struggling.

My individual therapist was amazing and Client Experience has also been nothing but amazing, they are always ready to help you! Place has been pretty helpful. My client experience is Karissa, extremely helpful. My CM, APN, and Indiv Therapist are all wonderful people. Even though I'm probably gonna be here short term it's very nice.

Thank you PRC, I have 402 days clean and sober today because of the excellent treatment that I received from the entire staff. I got the help from Chris my therapist to work on more personal issues with alcohol drugs and mental illness. He also helped me with my family to. I saw a psychiatrist and a doctor. They provided me with recovery home to live. I feel blessed today and I know that if I stay clean and sober for today, life is worth living. Thank you

My Experience here is wonderful.I know that the staff cares .. I have gotten a job while here . And I am working on my recovery . The tools you learn while here can take you far. The staff are also great.They keep you busy working on your self. The house managers are real. They don't allow you to go by the wayside. You will be held accountable. If you are working the program of recovery whether mental or SUD , trust me you will see the growth . Those staff who stood out , are all of them ..They go above and beyond to make sure you accomplish your goals. So I give them a Five stars . Cause they are very compassionate. You gotta come here wit a open mind . Liz Yoga groups and Sam art therapy are great. Equine with Ms Cat is therapeutic. Ms Jen Grief group with the candy and heartfelt shares are awesome. The rekie class is flawless. Mary and Megan see to it that we are provided with things to do. Weather it's Softball league ,Gym Passes to work out . Sheile the intake assistant is real as they come . Olivia is a joy to communicate with. And Luke, Neil , and Reggie , Sarah and Timber are all that ... Can't forget Emily ,Veinna , Brooklyn therapist Jen , Julie , The book club Teacher , Anthony, Eric , Kai , and his martial arts class and Emilee they all have touched my heart . Provive is absolutely amazing. I am a client here and I am getting the utmost care I need. Groups, AA, Alumni, Doc/Psych Visits, 1v1 Therapy, they have it all! I am learning about myself and how to Navigate the hardships of life and to live life on life’s terms. Shout out to Noel, Julie, Jen, Luke and Megan for making time here an absolute blast. I needed a rehab during a low time in my life and I’m extremely glad i was accepted at this facility. The grounds are well kept with cute farm animals and the food is pretty great for what it is. I met some great people here between my sobriety sisters and the staff. My counselor Ken was compassionate and kind. He taught me the skills necessary to become and maintain sobriety. Alaina, the life skills specialist, really cares about the clients. She went above and beyond in doing special things for us.

It was a nice safe environment I enjoyed the stay The staff,Techs were very friendly very helpful,Caring Helped us proceed with Goals,Core Values,Coping skills,Coping mechanism and all the groups I attended & achieve to stay in right path I learnt a lot I want to thank you all for everything I appreciate I’m grateful and thankful I have grown to better myself

My stay here was great! The staff was very caring & made me feel welcomed. My counselor took time to get to know me & I feel like I was able to take the time to get to know myself again. My recovery future feels so much better because of it.

This was my first (and God-willing, my only rehabilitation Center) and I could not have been more blessed that it was. EVERYTHING was amazing..!! The facility, the staff, the groups, the attentiveness, and most importantly: the care. They truly have angels working in that facility. The bathroom and rooms (the entire place) is impeccable. Howard, Edwin, Jenny, and Sofia do an amazing job at keeping things pristine. The food is incredible, the kitchen was understaffed while I was there. But we were never lacking anything AND I think I only had the same meal less than twice while I stayed there ( full week of boarding and 30 days in residential). Maybe we missed ice cream for a day or two.. but we could live without it (I gained 10 lbs of weight - HEALTHY weight *cough*- my first week in detox the food was so good) I had an amazing therapist, Erika. She is a straight shooter, something that a lot of us need to have in these times; where more often than not, we have been lying not only to those around us but to ourselves. However, all the therapist are of the same caliber.. Leigh Ann, Tiffany, Taylor, Michael (he’s another no BS type of therapist and says it how it is, yet in touch with his empathy), Brittany, and Caitlyn. Tiffany and Caitlyn also are the ones involved with running the Trauma Group (if you are interested in that part of recovery). They will more often than not meet you were you are a push you further than you think they can. The BHT’s are also amazing, and are there to help you.. The trifecta of Kevin’s (there are three and all are amazing! - must be the name 😅). But Kevin, the head of the BHT’s is just a powerhouse that gets it done, then there is Big Kev (who I believe is reaching his 27th year in sobriety at the time I am writing this review) and Afro Kev, which is just a man that works with his heart (and making him laugh just brightened my day). And all the other BHTS (Alex, Aliya, Asyiah, Nala, V) , they really work with empathy at the forefront. There was only one that acted like he had worked at a Correction’s facility before and isn’t obviously in recovery and acts like it, he goes by “Dom”; which I find fitting. (Was not thinking of adding this on the review, but it’s a review; MY review.) You cannot forget the heart of your medical recovery, the nurses and doctors. Raven was my admitting nurse (one of the last people to see me drunk 😅) was a sweet sweet soul - they all are- . But you had amazing nurses at all times. Gina, Shadia, Ms. Laury, Matt, Phil and Taysha to name a few that stick out in my mind. You are in good hands with them. The doctors were also working tirelessly to get you prescriptions. I got taken care of by Dr. chase and he put in a script for me for a foot cream that I needed. They are also gems that are there to help you with the best of their ability. Oh and the head of the nurses Chuck and Christa were amazing too! And the supervisors were incredible as well, Melissa and Jenn were phenomenal. They were always super kind and you can tell that they are extremely caring above all! Also, the CEO Heather is amazing, very down to earth and she is the one that ensures that things continue running flawlessly from the top. And you can’t forget the amazing Peer recovery Specialists, and your recreational and SMART recovery facilitator. Ty and Matt are the peer recovery specialists and they do an AMAZING JOB. Always wearing their heart on their sleeves and will always lend a ear and guide you if you need guidance. And Carolyn, that woman is just so special to me, she does this job because she loves it and you can feel the love behind her work (and her words). She is the perfect person to introduce you to SMART recovery and to bring you activities to do during your Rec time. She got me into diamond painting! Anyway, I will close off by saying: choosing Recovery village might be the easiest thing you have to do in your recovery! God be with you! *almost forgot my case worker Nicole, who worked tirelessly and got me into a beautiful sober living! Love you all tons!

It was a very nice comfortable place to recover in .Staff were excellent,food was great,you get to use your personal phone .The education and groups were great.It was a great experience and I recommened everybody who wants to save their lives to seek out recovery village.
