In my time at gatehouse I was able to meet some incredible sober support and enjoy life again, what I enjoyed in particular was being able to go to the gym with my peers which was very helpful for my recovery. There are several techs that seem to genuinely care about you and offer there advice and experience, I've grown to care about my peers and got alot out of helping others, I hope to stay connected with them in my recovery journey

Providers I have seen are all super nice and really seem to care about your wellbeing. It is easy to make appointments and for the most part you can get in pretty quickly, especially if it is urgent. The wait times for specialists tends to be shorter than what you would get on the civilian side. The one complaint I do have is that not all departments are great about calling you back, sometimes you have to call many times.

Amazing staff! I brought my father to the VA emergency room and he was admitted. I know everyone always has criticism and never seem to give praise when due, but I just had to write a review expressing how wonderful everyone Is at this hospital. From the minute we arrived at the emergency room, my father received excellent attention and help. The staff, nurses and doctors were unbelievable. I don t know the names of all the people who assisted us, but I would like to give praise and gratitude to Hannah, our emergency room nurse and Sarah, my father s hospital nurse. I truly hate to omit any names, but everyone who came in contact with my father and contributed to his care should be commended. In furtherance, please recognize that all these employees are physically in the VA hospital, working hard not working from home. In my opinion EVERY government employee, like the VA employees, should be in their respective offices and accountable to the taxpayers.(Note: am writing under a friend s account as I can t seem to access mine and wanted to share my experience.)

I just want to start bye saying this place saved my life and this is for real. When first showing up in very bad shape and asking for help as was treated with respect and care way above what I deserved from anyone the doctors the receptionist Josh who is now running the show and the most important person Connie who has been nothing but great to me it took me a while to get with the program I was still trying to do things my way. When I finally gave up and stopped all my bullshit things really took off and I have now been drug free for years not days. I had a person work with me about about my payment for there bill and other hospital bills I have went wzy beyond her job so in closing I just want to say thanks to all of you for helping me on this road of recovery you all truly saved my life. (This is a long one) I ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.I really don t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery. The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles. The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership. The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

This was my first rehab experience. It was a couple years ago for me. I found it to be a very accepting place. I am currently still on the suboxone plan. It will work for you, only if you are finally ready. You must be the one to see that you are allowing yourself to be used and abused by a little chemical cocktail.. whatever is yours. I didn't know what to expect coming here as it was my first time at a rehab, and I was pleasantly suprised within hours of checking in. The staff are an incredible group of people; they really do care about you and your recovery. More than once I had techs, nurses and counselors go out of their way to help me and my peers out. There is always someone to talk to for help; I was never turned away when I really needed something. The food is good (shoutout to Lonnie), you will always have clean laundry and linens and a bed to sleep in. If you need help with legal or insurance this place will work with you to get you squared away. Make no mistake, you will have expectations here and be held accountable. But if you are serious about getting better and willing to put in the work I don't think you'll find many places better than White Deer Run. I look forward to returning as a guest speaker in the future!

First time visiting this place for my spouse physical examination. Easy to recognize the main entrance and very near to the parking lots.Plenty of parking. Not that busy day on Friday as there are not much visitors.Clear signs for navigating to the check-in. Easy check-in on iPad with just last 4 digits of phone number. They suggested to bring insurance and photo id but they never asked for any. Hope they got it from another the profile in other tower health group.Directed us to waiting room which were clearly mentioned such as A, B, C, D, E on each each room.Didn't take much time in waiting room. Practitioner came and took to the observation room. Waiting room is spacious with lots of chairs to sit.Checkout seems must. We just started walking out without doing that but the person sits there called us and asked for checkout as we did check-in.Checkout completed by just asking the name & doctor. They gave next visit date and also the summary of the visit.MyChart app is so good to access all information.Doors are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible Parking also available.Overall had a good experience with the first time visit.

I came through here 2 times and am almost 3 yrs clean. I've had my ups and downs, multiple rehabs, multiple rehab relationships, etc. This was a male only rehab and that's what I needed. I could complain about some things but the goal was to stay clean and I didn't wanna die from an overdose. My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. Also the nurse Pam and I had an amazing relationship, we spent hours talking and she helped me so much. I want to thank Conewago Place for bringing my soul back.

We have worked with the staff here for over a decade and they have always been very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, supportive and understanding. We would not have been able to navigate the foster to adoption process with out their counsel, guidance and training and would recommend this agency to anyone considering foster care or adoption.
