Lebanon VA Medical Center is a drug and alcohol rehab and medical facility located in Lebanon, PA. They provide outpatient and inpatient addiction treatment and mental health care for veterans. Located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania is the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Serving the rural and residential communities throughout South Eastern Pennsylvania, thi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've updated this review because I traced the issue down to the VBA as being the ones sending my SSN over the mail. They use it as my File# usually appearing right under my name. I requested it be left out of mailings to me, or not to include the whole #.
I never registered with the VA after retiring in 2011 because a lot of bad things were on the News back then having to do with the poor service provided to veterans.
However, this year I decided to register and I'm happy so far. The only thing I'm not happy with is that the VA back in 2011 and still to this day continuously sends all correspondence to me with my full name and full social security number.
Like doesn't the VA know this is a big no no? Thanks for sharing my PII information with whomever receives any of my lost mail. And everyone knows nowadays that pieces of mail get lost a lot. The VA is a government agency, don't you all go through PII information safeguarding training? Like wow and this is why I couldn't give the VA a 5 star because apparently training is needed on safeguarding a veteran's personal identifiable information. Fix this issue or give veterans an option to receive all correspondence via e-mail versus snail mail.

In May of 2010, I arrived at Wernersville, PA, via intervention. I would later realize, all of the seeds were planted during my time at Caron and I finally learned about my disease and about the chemical makeup of my brain when using. I wasn't ready after my 30 days. However, on June 25th, 2017, the miracle happened. Caron laid the foundation at my feet. Magic mountain is real and very a spiritual place. The facilities are very clean, good therapists and doctors, and a great overall team. I will be forever grateful of the gift I was given to attend Caron's 30 day inpatient stay. FYI..This included 3 days in their detox facility on site. The detox staff were truly compassionate and loving. Exactly what I needed after years of using and untreated mental health. Sincerely,

The Ranch Pennsylvania is an addiction treatment residency that offers drug rehab services to men and women living in the Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, area. Their picturesque location overlooks the lovely Susquehanna River. Their levels of care include residential treatment, outpatient care and partial hospitalization care. Their residential program | Treatments Programs Payment Options | The DBT-based clinical curriculum at The Ranch is spectacular. And the manner in which the highly qualified therapists and other staff members demonstrate its application to SA recovery is an absolute game-changer. If you pay attention and do the work, you will learn a plethora of skills to help you Recognize, Regulate and Respond to your body, thoughts, and emotions which will improve how you relate to yourself, others and events which serve as triggers. And it doesn't end there, because there are others on Staff who come with their own knowledge in other areas which serves to supplement the written materials/classes with real, lived experience. These people are caring, engaging, compassionate AND passionate about the work they do. The BHTs, Nurses, Chefs/kitchen staff and adjunct contractors all serve the needs of the clients with the goal of helping you begin on a journey of wellness and resiliency . I didn't go to there to make friends, but it was impossible to avoid., and for that,--and all of the above-- I will be forever filled with gratitude.

I cannot say enough great things about The Ranch; as someone who has had a root issue of mental illness and struggled with substance abuse in the past. When substance abuse was not an issue, but there were lingering mental demons not related to/caused by substance use there was no doubt in my mind that the average treatment center would not excise the root cause of my anxiety and covert depression.
Many places will advertise mental health treatment, but The Ranch has a completely separate track for mental health that did for me in 18 days what almost 30 years of counseling and treatment could not do!! Most importantly; they not only gave me the tools to use, but they show me how to use them specifically for my mind and personality. I felt comfortable in my own skin for the first time since I was 7 years old within 24 hours, and I attribute that entirely to their holistic approach in addition to the clinical groups. I cannot say enough about how effective the entire treatment plan was for me, but being ADHD I found the experiential groups and the somatic healing to be mind blowing as it helped with trust issues and demonstrated how to meditate and incorporate breathing exercises that have me starting my days and finishing them with total peace/relaxation for both my mind and body.
If I ever start to slip, or have a friend/loved one in the throws of mental illness of any type I will wholeheartedly be pushing them to call The Ranch PA!!

The York Methadone Maintenance Treatment Center is located in York, Pennsylvania. They operate under Pyramid Healthcare, which has offices along the East Coast. At this center, they offer medication assisted treatments for adults who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. They accept self payment, commercial insurance, and Medicare. Their | Treatments Programs Payment Options | The staff of the Pyramid facility make the recovery process a journey of possibilities and opportunities. The counselor I had the opportunity to work with showed me a type of respect I haven't seen at any other facility. I am grateful for this on a daily basis. Just the small favor of offering a cup of coffee to clients in the morning makes the trip a great way to start the day. The security guards are even a part of the family and friends environment, taking the time to get to know the clients who use the waiting room daily. I am actually a bit bummed, when the administrator at the front window, has taken the day off because, she too, brightens my day and has had me laughing at her silly jokes and birthday songs throughout the past year.

I’d like to start by saying PYRAMID HAS BEEN THE MOST HELP since the beginning. I’ve had my rounds in recovery but this is the place that stuck with. I regained my confidence to be strong and have the power to control myself again. We all fall short at times, but if you want to get up and stay up, this is the place you should check out.

If your reading the reviews for this facility because your planning on getting help or even contemplating getting clean. Let me tell you....DO IT! It saved my life and many of my friends as well. I was scared at first obviously because i didn't want to be sick from the withdrawal. This facility actually does care about your safety and sobriety, your not just a number here. Youll be listened too and treated like a human being unlike a lot of places where your just an addict. Even if your not ready and just have questions, give them a ring....it could actually really change your life. The transition from the street drugs to the methadone was quite painless and I finally got relief. No more going days without and being sick, no more being sick at work, no more being sick around the kids, no more excuses! Long story short I can gladly say that I've been clean for so many years now and I owe it all too pyramid and the staff. I know it sounds silly but making that change and that choice was so scary and hard for me but when I found out how easy it was and how painless it was I felt so silly. You can do it. Make the call, you deserve it!

People need to understand something about vet hospitals. As a veteran myself I have come to not only learn but also experienced that people go to the hospital for the smallest issues which could have been cared for at home. On top of that military doctors aren’t the best so I usually take the time to seek civilian doctors. Save the negative comments because more the half the time people usually don’t go by them. I certainly do not

(This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.
I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.
I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery. The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles.
The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership.
The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

I am a 2021 graduate. Before coming to Teen Challenge, I was homeless on the streets of Philadelphia. I came here for recovery, but I got a new life instead. It sounds weird to say about my time in rehab, but it was one of the best years of my life. After graduating, I interned here, eventually becoming a staff member. I wanted to work here because of what I saw in the staff as a student, their love for God and people, and servanthood. I wanted to bring that same love and servanthood to people who are sick and suffering, like they did for me. It is not just a job but a calling. I would recommend PAATC to anyone struggling with addiction, and I am eternally grateful to God for using it to give me a life and a purpose.

Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge is a vessel used by God to change lives. My life has been changed here and there in no doubt about that. I went through the program 2 1/2 years ago and after 16 months I completed a 12 month program. That right it took me a little longer, but totally worth it. Yes treatment can be hard and I even complained most of the way through it. But I was also grateful during treatment. I wasn't on the streets of Philadelphia homeless, starving and hopeless. The staff here showed me love, compassion and empathy. The Lord's work is happening on this mountain and I believe that wholeheartedly. God used every situation here for me to grow closer to Him. I had a broken elbow witch I broken all the way through while homeless in Philadelphia and I got reconstruction surgery while at PAATC, I would have neglected that if I remained homeless. Also I had 3 warrants located in 2 states and the Lord allowed them to stay over my head (as a layer of protection) until he saw fit to allow them to be removed, because I would have left treatment if I didn't have warrants, like I have done so many times before.
2 years later I am warrant free. I have remained on the mountain after graduating to turn around and give back what was so freely given to me, Hope and a new way of life through Jesus Christ. This journey was not easy, but what journey worth wild is? I totally recommend this place to anyone that is struggling to get out of an endless cycle, but understand this will be the hardest thing you do but I promise you it will be the most rewarding one. Relationships restored, family restoration, a future and a hope. To me it was worth it. There is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self control here because God's Spirit is here.
God Bless you

I had 15 sessions with Ana. She really knows what she is doing. She gave me some exercises I could use when my anxiety starts getting really bad. I am so happy to say that they really work. There was an problem someone else was having and it escalated where this man was yelling at the admin team. It made me feel so uncomfortable and they had no security. The one security guy that was working down stairs clearly wouldnt have been able to help. I hope they fix that issue.

My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. I didn't know what to expect coming here as it was my first time at a rehab, and I was pleasantly suprised within hours of checking in. The staff are an incredible group of people; they really do care about you and your recovery. More than once I had techs, nurses and counselors go out of their way to help me and my peers out. There is always someone to talk to for help; I was never turned away when I really needed something. The food is good (shoutout to Lonnie), you will always have clean laundry and linens and a bed to sleep in. If you need help with legal or insurance this place will work with you to get you squared away. Make no mistake, you will have expectations here and be held accountable. But if you are serious about getting better and willing to put in the work I don't think you'll find many places better than White Deer Run. I look forward to returning as a guest speaker in the future!
