Best Meadville, PA Drug Rehab Centers

I came here all the way from New York, as I’m originally from Youngstown and needed to get away from my surroundings for a bit and have a hard reset. Left treatment today and had a really nice experience here. The staff is super friendly and nice and have a lot of experience with addiction and treatment. As well, the counselors were all great and the groups were helpful. Don’t come here if you expect to go on vacation or are simply in need of housing and are looking for a day spa that has a medical cabinet. Groups and H & I are a collective seven hours a day (morning, break, afternoon, break, evening) and attendance is expected. All things said, made some friends, got about as sober as anyone could get in a month, and learned that I’m still apparently really very terrible at basketball. Would recommend. Lastly - All my brothers.

The Staff at First Step Recovery are phenomenal. I've been in First Steps programs since Oct. Of 2024, and at each level of care I've had the best treatment from staff. I was in patient from detox to phase 1, and from there to IOP and beyond. And at each level I've come to care for the staff more and more, because they cared. And I'm stronger in my recovery more and more every day because of them.

My son came here seve- ral times and said that he was treated with compassion, care, and respect both times. He would not go anywhere else and said that it was a great program.

Glenbeigh saved my life. It gave me the tools I needed to start my recovery, which I utilized when I got out. I am almost 2 years clean/sober and I owe it all to this place and the amazing staff. The food is great too!

I have severe Bipolar I disorder, and for awhile, I was a frequent flier at the psych ward here. This hospital is the better of choices when it comes to psychiatric care. All of the staff who work at 3R are remarkable, but George, Tori, and Dr. Kutzer really stand out. Dr. Kutzer was aware of my history of eating disorder, and did her best to prescribe me medications that didn't cause weight gain; I didn't have this kind of experience at the other hospital in this area. She was also very sympathetic to my home life, and began to know me on a first-name basis. The food at St. Vincent's is surprisingly good for hospital food, and they give you very ample portions. I can speak on departments other than the psychiatric one as well, as St. Vincent's saved my grandfather's life around 32 years ago when they did a heart operation on him. They also saved my mom's life in 2022, when she needed emergency surgery. She was life lighted to Pittsburgh, and the hospital in Pittsburgh said that St. Vincent's saved her life with the emergency operation they did. I spent a lot of time in St. Vincent's due to my psychiatric disorder, and the staff was usually pretty accommodating. On the off times they did get irritated, it was because I kept asking the same questions.

My wife was recently a patient here, and the care she received was phenomenal. The doctors and nurses were compassionate, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. We’re both extremely grateful for the professionalism and kindness shown by the entire staff. Highly recommend this hospital.

(I arrived around 11pm - 12am) I can’t express the amount of love I have for this hospital and their staff. 3-Days ago I went in because I was having server stomach pain. They immediately did a urine test, blood work, and a catscan. The results came back around 1:40 and told me I needed to have my “Appendix removed” I was scared and terrified, and around 7:50-8:30am I was moved downstairs with a bed. (Staff was absolutely phenomenal.), and around 9:10am I was sent to pre-op and around 9:45am - 10:30am I was wheeled to surgery. The staff team from every department was amazing, and I felt like I was in really good hands. I was out of surgery between 12-1 that afternoon, and I left the hospital (At my discretion) that evening. During the whole process every department made sure I was comfortable, and I was doing okay. (They were even amazing to my husband; keeping him updated on everything since he had to take care of some things at home, and making sure he was comfortable when he was there.) I am home and doing better 3 days later but I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE St. Vincent and honestly, I will not go elsewhere anymore. I even started the transition from a UPMC PCP to a AHN PCP because St. Vincent took really great care of me throughout everything!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys saved my life as my appendix could of exploded, or got extremely worse. No words can explain how thankful I am for this hospital and everyone who works there!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!

When I found myself entering this treatment center, I had absolutely nothing going for me. A year later, I got my son home, my fiance and I both got clean TOGETHER, we both have full time jobs, 2 cars, a beautiful home and our families back. For this first time in 14 years we are both sober, healthy, happy, and succeeding in life. Without the counselors and all the help here, I woukdnt have made it but love my life today more then anything Andi owe thisplace so much for that. I'd recommend to anyone looking to change their lives.

I was a resident there in the late 80s I remember the staff there I remember a lot of the staff members. They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. He was on the boys unit last I heard he was working in the school Wrote a story about the boy I remember in my life during time I really needed them so thank you To the staff that was there during the time I was there

Had my first appt here yesterday. Very pleased with the VA. Way better than regular health providers in the area. Friendly staff. Efficient processing.

Sharanda, nurse who took vitals for my brother who had a PCP appointment, when this veteran (sister of the patient) asked, took my weight and recorded it on my records for my PCP who is located at the Wade Park VA location………she Came Out to the parking lot to Find me to get my information: name and last 4 to record it. She went Above and Beyond!

I've always received excellent care here. My primary care physician is warm and attentive. She listens to all my concerns, and never hesitates to refer me to other clinics, labs, and specialists within the system whenever I need it. The front desk and lab are always helpful as well.

I've been to multiple places for treatment and this place is BY FAR the best I've been to in 10 years. The appointment process does take a bit longer than most places but you can tell the people who work here genuinely care about you. They listen AND accommodate to your wants and needs. I'd definitely recommend Brightview to any one who is struggling and want help.

The very first recovery center I've been to. Based on my experience it will be the last! (in a great way) I love this place, the meetings and my counselor. They have medical for those who need medicine to help with their addictions. They really do care. If you are ready to take that step to being free from which ever substance you are addicted to then this is a really really great place. I would give more stars if I could. Edit: I'm still there and it's still wonderful!
