My son is in the federal program at Abraxas. His staff all treat him more than fair and I get the impression that all of the staff genuinely care about their role in my sons treatment. I am very thankful for all of the people at this facility and how well they take care of him and work with him. I have seen the “other side” of other programs and I’ll just say, I sleep much better at night knowing he is at ABRAXAS. I live over a 20 hour drive away from PA, so it’s good to know my son is in good hands. My son has mentioned a few names that I can’t remember, but I want to particularly thank Mr. Straubel and Mr. Burks. Thank you ABRAXAS.

All of the staff there is helpful and as friendly as you are. It is a bit slow when trying to get referrals and appointments to outside practitioners and other VA centers for specialist and coronary tests.

I just left my stay at Caron's young adult women's unit. I was so pleased with all the staff I interacted with. The RAs I regularly saw - Danielle, Caitlin, Lauren, Ashley, and Lorraine - were all amazing and completely made the experience for me. They were all so supportive and made me feel very seen and cared for throughout my time here. Lori was an amazing counselor and was incredibly helpful through my process of figuring out aftercare and family therapy.
My one gripe is the higher ups - this is no fault of the staff I saw. I felt my safety was not taken seriously. A patient was admitted to YAW who was clearly under the influence (and presumably continued use throughout the time she was there) and was highly aggressive toward all three of us in the unit, one of which was a minor, and staff. This patient was my roommate and I had reported sexual harassment against me the night she was admitted, and that I had felt I couldn't tell her to stop because of her erratic behavior. Although I know staff advocated for us, they were unable to do anything due to their higher ups, leading me to have to sleep on our couch in the lounge to separate myself, despite concerns in her behavior and possible use. Additionally, groups were disrupted by her behavior, and ultimately left me and other affected patients feeling as though our safety was not taken seriously. This was not a case of us not simply getting along, this was a threat to staff and patients - again, one of which was a minor. Aside from the RAs who I know tried all they could, the Caron staff needs to be better about these issues because they seem to be a recurring problem.

Thank you PRC, I have 402 days clean and sober today because of the excellent treatment that I received from the entire staff. I got the help from Chris my therapist to work on more personal issues with alcohol drugs and mental illness. He also helped me with my family to. I saw a psychiatrist and a doctor. They provided me with recovery home to live. I feel blessed today and I know that if I stay clean and sober for today, life is worth living.

(This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.
I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.
I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

I had to attend a screening appointment at Blueprints to fulfill a requirement and while due to the nature of my situation I will not continue services there, I did want to shout them out. Their office space is bright, calming and welcoming. All of the staff I interacted with were helpful, friendly and kind. I met with Shauna and I can't give her enough stars. She was professional, non-judgemental, understanding and very kind. I was not sure what to expect with Blueprints but I'd really recommend them to anyone needing their services. I felt had I needed further services or assistance, I would have been in really good hands. Which says a lot because I've had some bad mental health / social services experiences.

Was in there Back in 2003, around before Christmas. Place was beautiful and so surreal and peaceful... Helped me appreciate life Can be beautiful to just look at soberly. Psyhs. Good too. Food was awesome too. They even made me hand poured flapjacks for breakfast. And sausage 😋 I am currently Sober thanks to A lot from MALVERN. I've been receiving treatment here for over a year now and I have absolutely no complaints. I love the staff they're all so welcoming and helpful especially Lisa Johnson and my counselor Maddy - they go above and beyond to help me and helped me through the most traumatic moment of my life which was losing my mom suddenly they were both by my side and have helped me in so many ways. Brenda at the front is always all smiles and so nice every time I come to the clinic she always greets me and is helpful with anything I need help with or questions I have. Great team and great treatment center. The nurses are also amazing especially since they now have one less nurse, they still do their best and get everyone in and out at a great pace. The groups are great monthly too.

These pics have been on here for a while, and they are NOT COATESVILLE COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER! I have a feeling that since there are sister clinics that are run by the same owner company that you got mixed up somehow because the hours were completely wrong and so is the information you’re better off just calling.

As for me this was the first rehab I completed Overall the Tecs were helpful and relatable with real insight about their addiction and how they overcame it and their responses were real talk The case management were helpful into getting you to the next phase that fits you The counselors gave real information from insight not from paper work they helped break information down so you could understand and feel it Medical was on point and treated you with respect and talked to you like a person The CEO walks around and talks to you like he understands and any problems he takes care of right then and there This place helps you get the help you need if you want it Even with all the BEAUTIFUL females around their gives you motivation cause your gonna want someone similar in style attitude body wise and everything It was the perfect place at the perfect time for me and I would love to thank not just one person but All and I'll want everyone that's want help it's there if want it Thank You All. I’m not sure how to adequately put into words how thankful I am for this school. My son was diagnosed with autism in December 2023. To say I was scared and clueless, would be an understatement. Daycare couldn’t handle him and I was so lost. When I found First Children’s Services, it was as if the clouds parted to let the sun shine through. The staff at First Children’s are compassionate and highly trained to help my son be the best version of himself. They are my lifeline and I am so grateful to have them in my court advocating for my son’s overall success. I honestly can’t recommend First Children’s Services enough. They were my ray of hope in a time when I had none.

I like holcomb behavior health. It has great case mangers that help with crisis, getting into day program and housing. And Micheal t. my new casemanger is very help ful and does the job right. And this i recommend this place because they helped me for years for mental health recovery and teaches me to cope with problems and stays out of inpatient care for a while.

These guys are truly the best. They deal with my constant questions and always answer me so fast. All of the staff I’ve dealt with are truly kind. From receptionist, CNA’s, nurses and doctors. The staff at this clinic truly care about the patients and want to see people succeed. You are treated like a human being, which makes a big difference. However, rigid protocols and administrative responses often get in the way of providing real, practical help.
The system seems to penalize honesty rather than support it, but this is specifically an issue if you are upfront about not being ready for sobriety. When you are transparent about exactly where you are at in your journey, the procedural response can feel punitive instead of therapeutic. To be clear, transparency itself is vital, and the staff is much more willing to give you leeway if you are struggling but actively want to get sober. The roadblock happens when you are honest about not being fully ready yet, as the rigid rules can make you feel unwelcome rather than supported through that phase.
If you are actually ready to stop using, this place will help you. Getting involved here is a highly effective form of harm reduction. Just go into it knowing that the administrative side can create major problems and roadblocks if you aren't completely ready for total sobriety yet.
