My son is in the federal program at Abraxas. His staff all treat him more than fair and I get the impression that all of the staff genuinely care about their role in my sons treatment. I am very thankful for all of the people at this facility and how well they take care of him and work with him. I have seen the other side of other programs and I ll just say, I sleep much better at night knowing he is at ABRAXAS. I live over a 20 hour drive away from PA, so it s good to know my son is in good hands. My son has mentioned a few names that I can t remember, but I want to particularly thank Mr. Straubel and Mr. Burks. Thank you ABRAXAS.

I was here once I remember everything that this place had taught me. I hated being there even got fta'ed but looking back they helped me a lot and the remarkable staff had a big impact on my life and me figuring out how to get back on the right path in life.Don't get me wrong some stuff were assigned holes a lot of their methods are terrible and the groups don't teach anything. But there are the staff that do care and talk with you and show you respect and they are who change your life in a major way. Hated a lot of this place and the people there but much love for the people who truly cared and helped me change the focus of my life.

Hummingbirds were regular entertainment about the garden atop the hill out back. Then vs. now, 'politics, being showbiz for the ugly', comprehensive dismantling of what worked. New plan I reckon.Support Compassion Fatigue Syndrome R&D Treatment and RecoveryReduce AMA, psycho-pension early disability retirements. It's so terribly mixed up. My last visit there was a triple nightmare in day and nighttimes. Treated like POW by local social services offices in the facilities and her Psychiatrist accessory. Three attempts to have vet arrested for no crime - some political militant attacks on a very exhausted battered wounded vet looking for help & advice where he got it before and proved it worked afterwards long-term.Now ghost town. Ouch. After being screwed here fake "wesoldieron" solicited me for HUDVASH Program and torpedoed my claim while they endorsed numerous other vets in the same program. Golly what made them evil.Support compassion fatigue syndrome treatment and recovery for state employees too.Yup that was back in 2011 I believe. Treated like a rabid political target by psychiatrist and a local social services person with an office inside the VAMC Coatesville. I should have went directly to a civilian hospital for eval cause I was in a sad condition and tortured rather than treated.Politics I've never voted yet these hate mongers fabricate anything to hate and gaslight anything not them.Support compassion fatigue syndrome and fund good cops the the nth degree. PRC honestly saved my life. I came here with fear, hopelessness, and no spirituality. Trust this program and trust all of the staff here. When I truly began putting in the work, feelings of hopelessness went away, slowly over time. The therapist I was assigned to here, is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The clinical director here, is overall amazing. Shawn the program housing manager, I cannot thank him enough. Shawn and Brandt continued to let me back here after many slip ups. They let me back because they saw something in me that I did not see in myself. I believed I could never recover, but they saw otherwise. Everyone here loves you until we love ourselves. This place was truly a stepping stone in my life.

(This is a long one) I ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings.I really don t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up.I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

I can't say enough good things about New Horizons. They genuinely care about their patients and foster an incredible environment that makes a difficult process way more enjoyable (if that's even possible). Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery. The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles. The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership. The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. The Manor has thoughtful staff and a comprehensive mental health treatment program utilizing groups and counselors along with outside psychiatrists and therapists. My son recently completed a 12-month treatment program at the Manor of Hope and his recovery from substance use issues is nothing short of miraculous due largely in part to the care he received at the Manor from Steve Killelea and his staff of highly skilled counselors. Every parent's nightmare is watching your kid battle the demons that mental illness and drugs unleash on them. Long care treatment facilities like the Manor work better to treat addiction than the short-term, for-profit institutions that fail more often than not to help those suffering from these illnesses. My current relationship with my son is night and day as Steve has helped to guide him into adulthood. Steve not only helped my son but counseled my wife and I on how to deal with my boy as he transitions back to family life. I am profoundly grateful and thankful to have crossed paths with Steve and the Manor of Hope and highly recommend the long-term care and treatment programs that the Manor can offer to those suffering from addiction and mental illness.

The Manor of Hope is making a huge difference in our son s life. We were desperate and needed help for our son, who is on the autistic spectrum. Steve took our son under his wing, and now he is learning how to live independently, slowly but surely. We did not think an independent life would be possible for him. Steve and our son s mentor, along with the other staff are teaching him skills that will last a lifetime. He recently was hired for a part-time job and is enrolled in a college course. The professionals that Steve have connected our son with, such as his psychiatrist and therapist, are excellent. The Manor of Hope has so many opportunities. Our son is learning how to cook through a weekly culinary class. He is taking care of a garden, and has a personal trainer and is working out on a regular basis He is always busy which is great for him. He also has structure. They take him on day trips and excursions. Our son is enjoying life and is happy. We are so thankful we have found Steve and the Manor of Hope. We were at the end of a very dark path and didn t know where to turn. Our son s life is now full, and he is growing and maturing every day. He is respectful towards us and is learning boundaries. All things we couldn t have achieved when he was home. He needs the Manor of Hope and he is also grateful for his time there.

We just started walking out without doing that but the person sits there called us and asked for checkout as we did check-in.Checkout completed by just asking the name & doctor. I ve been a patient at Holcomb Behavioral Health for almost 4yrs.I have never had an issue with anyone and I can be a difficult person. I m a Gemini so my evil twin is always trying to peek out to take over.My therapist has helped my family and I tremendously! The receptionist - OMG! I haven t seen her since the pandemic but when I have to physically go into Holcomb this awesome lovely lady always ask me about my son and ask how I m doing.I Love Holcomb for more reasons than that. I Love Holcomb because they help me navigate through life when life kicks me down. Holcomb changed my life and my children's live for the better. I feel bad that other people's comments are judgmental. I think that people are so closed minded now & days. So, if you re a patient at Holcomb then don t give up! Many of the places seemed scary to me and many places I called said my son was not a fit, he was not bad enough . A friend of mine in the mental health field recommended Embark. We went in for the interview and within a few days my son was in a safe place. When we started he would cross his arms and not talk at all in family therapy. Their team had suggested that he may be high functioning ASD which was something I had always thought but was dismissed by medical professionals for years. But it started the process and he was diagnosed from chop as asd1. His therapist, Serena, became such a safe place for him. They worked on cbt therapy, group theray and through our family therapy we are now in a place that he is able to self advocate for his mental health. He did go back the following year but that is because school is such a trigger for him. They helped advocate for the right services for him for his IEP when he went back based on his triggers. He is a different kids because of Embark. We are so lucky that we found this place.

My child started in IOP-> needed residential in Flathead Montana ( read review- AMAZING) and did PHP and IOP here. We picked Embark after touring 3 places for IOP, so I never saw residential coming, but it did and the director AC did a great job of getting her in Residential and saved her a place in PHP. We really liked Dr Gill the psychiatrist!Overall my child did PHP well and their liaison worked well with the school. The parents nights etc were really helpful. Why the 4 stars? They changed my child s therapist when my child was transitioning back to HS from PHP to IOP, her therapist had a new role role, but even the director AC admitted C was the best fit for my child and the therapist was still seeing kids! So then we get this therapist A who was horrible at family therapy! The sessions would go over our time with me and my spouse , my child would be brought in for 5-10 minutes such a wast and nothing like C or her residential therapist in MT. Then at graduation on her last day this therapist takes off early, and the kids normally get a gift and we had to go back and get it the next week and it was so impersonal and they did not make my child feel like this graduation was special- it was so rushed, where in MT it was so lovely! Also though I thought my child might still need DBT ( I m no therapist) , NO ONE said look your kid is basically mastering this, why not use other therapy? so we felt so lost, felt no real help with a good therapist recommendation ( what therapist doesn t have a list?) for long term care, and we asked and asked re: care. I did the looking and it was well over 3 weeks to find a person. We found one we really like but no parent/ child needs that stress. Plus s even though we were in network at Embark, we had huge chunks of money pulled from our account so their accounts dept needs help! And despite signing pages of HIPPA AND ROI paperwork no one got anything and I still need to get that sorted. Finally kids are not supposed to have contact until all are dc d, that is not enforced! We did not know that- so all those little things lost a star. Kids were hanging out that should not have been, no one told us this! However: Due to amazing residential care identification my child needed by Embark in Berwyn, the quick transfer to MT and her excellent transition back to PHP and her work with therapist C in Berwyn we will keep it at 4. But the transition to A, and the poor FT sessions, sad graduation etc and accounting issues at the end/along with kids interactions before dc- I would push them on that.DBT is a great therapy base, but learning other therapies can augment your child s healing. We are still grateful for the care and the quick realization our child needed residential care. We hope to not need Embark, but we do recommend them and if your not seeing the results- make sure your child clicks with their therapist b/c that is key!Good luck!M&M

It was such a tough time for our family. We cannot say enough about the care our son received from Embark. He came from this program with confidence, and he has been using the tools he gained, ever since. We are forever grateful. Thank you so much for being there for us.

I am in my second week of High Focus Center's Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and I have had an outstanding experience. I have the capability to participate virtually, with the in person group, and it is working very well. I love the expressive therapy groups (art, yoga, sound, meditation, etc.), and the psycho education materials. We have a small group and plenty of time to process and participate. In the past two weeks, I am feeling significantly better and I am excited to keep going with my daily challenges. Amazing group of people and positive energy.
