I felt compelled to write this review because of the wonderful care my 88 years old father has received. The respect, kindness and concern displayed by every one of the Doctors, nurses and personnel we have encountered is absolutely amazing. While they are too numerous to mention, I particularly wanted to give special gratitude to our home care nurse, Vinnie…my father just adores her and she is amazing. I also wanted to express my appreciation to Lorett, who tended to my father’s wounds yesterday. Lorett was incredible and so kind. Likewise were the doctor, Rachel and the staff in the emergency area.
In closing, I want to state that this VA hospital and all associated medical providers and staff should be recognized for its/their high degree of standard, but more importantly for the compassion and respect displayed to our Veterans. Thank you and happy holidays.

Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another.
The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly.
My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion.
This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones.
Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us.
One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that.
You don't know who may be near you to save your life. We leave no one behind. Amen UPDATE October 20, 2025*** Thank you so much for fitting me in your schedule with Radiology. As a service-connected disabled veteran that has been in the VA system 1994, I love being able to receive my primary care closer to home. For years I went to the Lebanon VAMC for ALL my healthcare needs and the drive alone made it inconvenient. Let alone the constant construction and parking lot mess. The care at Lebanon VAMC is wonderful but the facility is big and busy so the much closer Lancaster VA at Willow Street is a godsend for me. The front desk, lab, nurses and my PCP are incredible. Very clean office, very quiet peaceful office and generally there is plenty of nearby parking, unlike Lebanon VAMC.

The staff of the Pyramid facility make the recovery process a journey of possibilities and opportunities. The counselor I had the opportunity to work with showed me a type of respect I haven't seen at any other facility. I am grateful for this on a daily basis. Just the small favor of offering a cup of coffee to clients in the morning makes the trip a great way to start the day. The security guards are even a part of the family and friends environment, taking the time to get to know the clients who use the waiting room daily. I am actually a bit bummed, when the administrator at the front window, has taken the day off because, she too, brightens my day and has had me laughing at her silly jokes and birthday songs throughout the past year.

I’d like to start by saying PYRAMID HAS BEEN THE MOST HELP since the beginning. I’ve had my rounds in recovery but this is the place that stuck with. I regained my confidence to be strong and have the power to control myself again. We all fall short at times, but if you want to get up and stay up, this is the place you should check out.

If your reading the reviews for this facility because your planning on getting help or even contemplating getting clean. Let me tell you....DO IT! It saved my life and many of my friends as well. I was scared at first obviously because i didn't want to be sick from the withdrawal. This facility actually does care about your safety and sobriety, your not just a number here. Youll be listened too and treated like a human being unlike a lot of places where your just an addict. Even if your not ready and just have questions, give them a ring....it could actually really change your life. The transition from the street drugs to the methadone was quite painless and I finally got relief. No more going days without and being sick, no more being sick at work, no more being sick around the kids, no more excuses! Long story short I can gladly say that I've been clean for so many years now and I owe it all too pyramid and the staff. I know it sounds silly but making that change and that choice was so scary and hard for me but when I found out how easy it was and how painless it was I felt so silly. You can do it. Make the call, you deserve it!

This review is for the BD HEALTH LOCATED AT 6706 Holabird Ave. That's the one I pulled up to review but I noticed it's coming up under the wrong location...I really like everyone here they've always been so nice and supportive! Natasha who does the testing here is extremely caring kind and just genuinely likes helping others. She's collected clothes shoes and more for those in need. She's always getting things together for the homeless. She started doing group again in the mornings I think on Wednesday or Thursday. She's just an all around great person period!

My counselor Mrs. Yolanda is amazing!!! I have never in my life had a counselor truly care about my well being . You really saved me from a lot of pain I appreciate you always being up front and real . I can't imagine the lives you touch and how many others you help. You have Mrs. Rhonda another amazing women who was my counselor before. And Jess the nurse is the sweetest she can always make you smile . Gabby that pretty face you see when you walk in such a doll I love talking with her.. Not only do all these women do there jobs they make the time you are there comfortable and they actually treat you like a human being not a junkie . I have seen people dissing the Dr I don't know why she does her job . She's not rude she just does her job so I don't see why people are making bad comments about her.. I was upset the other day and regret making the review that I had that isn't how I truly feel I was just taking my anger out and that's not like me I believe in the if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all .. I apologize for my recent post I was just upset over the situation and instead of being the adult I am I was a child for a moment. But I realize that my anger and stupidity looks poorly upon this business which does not deserve anything poorly said about them when they are a good place too go get help with amazing employees inside. Crossroads Center has the best group therapies. I enjoy each of the sessions, in this place I feel safe to express what and how I feel. The staff is friendly and helpful, everyone is actively involved in the recovery of patients, this center is a good place to restructure your life. If it were not for this place I would probably be dead, I am eternally grateful, this place holds a special place in my heart.

I was in Philhaven in spring 2023. I was so depressed and anxious before going in that I couldn't function and was rapidly losing weight, couldn't get out of bed. I'm grateful for my time in Philhaven, getting medications and coping skills to cope. The staff and everything was amazing. I'm also thankful for the psychiatrist Dr. Khan who gave me a mental health diagnosis that actually made sense. I can't believe I went my whole life without someone diagnosing me properly and I'm so glad Dr. Khan was able to. I am now able to handle my life and mental health. Thank you!

Our daughter ( 21 yrs old) spent 3 weeks at Philhaven.
She was kept safe and was at a much better place emotionally upon her release. Thank you to her therapists and Dr who was willing to make a “medicine switch for the better. Also the activities were helpful.
One thing we really appreciated was the phone calls she was allowed to make all day long and we could call in to talk with her any time. We spent a lot of quality time on the phone with her, it was a lifeline for her. I’m sure it’s not convenient for the staff to always have all these calls coming in and going out all day until late in the evening.
I say “ Thank you” for allowing us that phone time and for providing for our daughters daily needs while she was there.

My first appointment at this facility was with dr. Attiya Kidwai and my experience with her was not good whatsoever I felt as though she was annoyed and she wasn’t nice. So immediately when it was time to schedule my next appointment I decided to change to a nurse practitioner, Mary bowling and she is the best mental health professional I have ever worked with. I started therapy at a time when I was overwhelmed with anxiety, stress, and constant overthinking. I am so grateful I took that step because working with Christian has been life changing. He patient and he genuinely listens. Each session made me feel seen and supported, and gave me the tools to navigate difficult moments with more clarity and peace.
The entire team here is wonderful. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. I actually looked forward to seeing them. I still remember my very first appointment, it was in the evening and one of the ladies walked me out and waited to make sure I got safely into my car. That simple gesture meant a lot. Every visit felt peaceful and safe, and I always felt cared for.

If you are looking for a top quality, healthcare facility that is patient centered and informative throughout the entire process, WellSpan Ephrata is the place for you. The surgeons, nurses, staff (even a visit from the hospital's vice president), and everyone involved in my procedure cared about my comfort during a recent stay and kept my wife well informed about my care throughout my procedure and stay and even after going home. Why go to Lancaster or Reading, when I received equal or better care right here in Ephrata.

The atmosphere here is very comfortable. The counselors are also very easy to talk to. Many people who attended with me had legal issues as well, and this place was more then willing to work with them on their issues. This location is easy to find and has both of street parking and free parking out back. It is easy to notice from the street.

I see Kim Millhimes on George street. I have made incredible progress in identifying and maintaining healthy boundaries with people I’m close with. I have finally been able to identify my own, individual values and live by them! This has lead to huge changes in the way I live my life. In the past, I really didn’t know who I was because I was always focused on other people’s emotions and values to the detriment of myself. With each session, I grow in a positive direction! I also enjoy the interaction with Cindy who works the front desk. Cindy is super professional along with being kind and making me laugh at times. I feel very well cared for here.
