Just finished a twenty eight day program this week. Ashley, the staff, PSAs (especially Gavin) helped me to finally grasp the severity of my disease and my spiritual condition. They took personal interest in me and helped stop me from leaving despite me being a little “difficult” 😆 I will always be grateful for Ashley, for giving me the ability to even say the word grateful, which is a miracle in itself.

I was not just lost, broken hopeless n suicidal but much worse because the love of my life was gone forever. I thought I'd accepted it was the end for me n that there was no God. Being at my worst i found Amanda was still guiding me even when I didn't know it. Today I can say she helped me find MRP n put some of the best people in my life. I am so very grateful for Maryland recovery n the amazing clinical staff Alex,Kim,Doug, Brittany, Crystal, April,Laura, Carrie, Jessica and Stephanie. They not just did their jobs to the highest standard as well as showed me dignity and respect while doing it. They all gave me what I wanted n needed to want to live life again, setting me up for success, giving me a solid foundation like I never had before.
The PSA's Matt, Hayden ,Big Drew, Jeff,Paul, both Lisa's and Nikki literally made me feel like I was not just a person but part of a big "recovery"family that truly cared about me , my needs and wants. They all took the time to get to know me, guide me and shared very helpful personal stories about themselves or someone they knew that has or was going through something like i was. I didn't feel different or alone anymore but part of something bigger. I can honestly say i see things in all of them that id like to see in myself one day as i continue to grow and move forward in life. I see them all as my friends and leaders in recovery and life. Ive done more in the last 30days at MRP than ive done in the last 10 yrs of my life. THANK YOU for helping save my life. not a bad place, really helped me find a community that i could relate and connect with. i ended up AMA-ing for my own reasons. with these places, there’s always room for improvement, i think there could’ve been a lot more to do and get engaged in in residence, i wish we had movie nights or kareoke for example. and i wish the woman’s group didn’t feel so…misogynistic? just felt like everything we did was very girly? the best i can put it ig. idk i found myself watching a lot of TV because of how little there was to do. if you’re looking for somewhere serene, you won’t find it here, BUT i think if you come in with an open mind, and do what you need to do, and DONT get caught up in other clients, you can find a lot of peace in sobriety. remember what you came for. (it’s you) goodluck in there! be nice to the TA’s too, they DO care about you.
i want to shoutout some of my favroite people, i think most of them have left, but GOD i miss y’all.
Mike James, ur the bald G.O.A.T
Riley, i freaking love your emo alien ass
Carmen, you were like a mother to me
Camilo, i still check to see how my bones are feeling, you really helped me a lot.
Charlie, you are just awesome i still have the fallout sticker you didn’t want.
Greg, MY REHAB DAD I LOVE YOU, thanks for that dope hike that one time.
Katie, i loved watching movies with you, you’re the best.
Kerianne, the best therapist i think i’ve ever had, she CARES.
Jackie, i wish we had more conversations, you’re so dope
and to anyone else i might be forgetting, THANK YOU!! i love you guys so much.

If you’re looking for a place that actually treats addiction like the chronic, complex, identity-dismantling condition it is, MARC is it. They take time, care, and effort, offering long-term care that dares to go beyond the hope of a 28-day radical transformation. The staff really knows what they’re doing, and they manage to be both clinicians and humans. It’s rare to find a program this ethical, compassionate, and effective. I couldn’t recommend MARC more!

I can't express in words, how much of a great and compassionate person the owner Pete is. He's a very stand up guy, when I had a problem that conflicted with my hours of school (I'm doing remote from 9:30am-4:30pm). Pete went out of his way to make sure, I could still attend my groups virtually from their IOP residential home during the evenings. When the house manager said I couldn't do this, Pete went and made some calls to accommodate me, so I could get the help I needed while also being able to pursue my dreams in getting a job in IT support. Thanks Pete 😊 🫂 🙏. If you're in need of assistance they are very welcoming at the office aswell. The front desk assistant Hunter was very supportive and understanding of my situation any questions I had she answered promptly and kindly. From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. It wasn’t just "do this, follow that"—they actually asked what worked for me. Big win. I got my head clear, my heart a little lighter, and finally feel like I’m not stuck anymore 🎧.

I am deeply grateful for the support I’ve received from Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health. With their guidance, encouragement, and education, I’ve been able to reach nearly 6 months of sobriety; something I once thought would be impossible.

The educational sessions have been eye-opening and practical, helping me better understand myself, my triggers, and how to build a healthier lifestyle.

Stephanie Lamont (Towson Executive Director) is an exceptional leader who leads with integrity, humility, and vision. As a true servant leader, she consistently put the needs of the team and the care of the people we serve above her own, creating an environment where the team feels supported, empowered, and motivated to do their best work. She provides a safe space for us to be fully engaged in what we do, what we are passionate about and that is helping people struggling with addiction.
Her ability to balance strategic thinking with genuine compassion is rare and inspiring. She listens actively, leads by example, and makes thoughtful decisions that reflect both short-term needs and long-term growth. I served in the military for 20 years and during that time I experienced often people in leadership positions that were extremely harmful, who often took advantage of the talent they had on their teams, who lacked any emotional intelligence or insight for or into the people they were leading. It has been both professionally and personally healing to have this opportunity to work alongside Stephanie on this journey of my second career. Organizations are often only as good as its people, and the culture is often dictated by those at the top, and the level of care, compassion, innovation, and attention that we can provide here in Towson is a direct reflection of Stephanie’s consistent and compassionate leadership.
So if you are looking for a place to land, to start working on your recovery and you want to work with clinicians that are going to show you the compassion you deserve and support you in taking your life back. This is the place. Join us.

I am a patient at the Anticoagulation Center. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, they are all very professional and nice. What I don’t like is the room where you are examined. I am sitting in the room and the pharmacist is sitting with her/his back to me. They are asking me questions while facing their computer and their back to me. I find this to be extremely rude, I prefer to speak facing the person I’m speaking to. They do face me while doing my finger sticks which takes 3minutes. My visit time is usually 30-40 minutes. That’s just a lot of back I’m looking at.

Estoy muy contenta con la atención de la Dra. Ryan. Ella siempre tiene la disposición de escucharme para darle solución a mis problemas siempre tratando de ayudar con mi salud y siempre manifiesta su calidez humana en su amable trato.
