Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. Most of the other staff were exemplary in their roles in supporting patients in their journey - want to especially recognize Amber as someone who exemplified the lodge's ideals of compassion and professionalism, she made a difference in my daughter's life.

Its been 3 weeks since I completed the 28 day program on (August 5, 2025) at Alina Lodge . From the moment I arrived (July 8, 2025)I felt comfortable and safe. THIS PLACE NOT ONLY SAVED MY LIFE IT ALSO BROUGHT LIFE BACK TO ME MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! The program they have is great and I learned more and more about addiction but even more so about myself. The staff there are great , kind, loving amd compassionate. They are there to help and as long as you ask for that help you will get it . The environment was amazing given the space and time to recover and reflect on each group session. My favorite spot to sit and reflect was in the gazebo close the the river . The food was great each meal was also good and filling. Now at 48 days clean today 8/25/2025 i feel so great my life has improved dramatically! Thanks to the wrok i put it and the structure of Alina Lodge!!! I love you guys and thank you for helping me regain traction in my life I will be forever grateful! -Mike Liaci

Every element of this treatment experience is 5-star: one-on-one counseling, group therapy, Adventure Trek, lodging, amenities, food, staff. Inpatient and outpatient services are the best you’ll find anywhere. Staff truly care for each individual and want to see them succeed in their recovery. A very special place. I had never been to treatment for my drinking before, and I was terrified. When I called Little Creek Lodge, I was in bad shape — one of the worst days of my drinking. From that first call, everything changed. Within 30 minutes my insurance was verified and I was on my way to detox. After detox, an employee from LCL came to pick me up, and the moment I arrived I felt a sense of relief. LCL follows a 12-step recovery process. I’m not religious — I used to call myself an atheist, and now I’d say I’m agnostic — so the idea of going to an AA meeting was scary. But what I found was nothing like what I imagined. AA at LCL is all about acceptance, community, and helping each other. There’s no judgment, only support. The facility itself is beautiful — cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are comfortable, and there are more than enough bathrooms to make everyone feel at home. The environment is peaceful, which made it easier to focus fully on recovery. The food deserves its own mention. They have an actual chef (love you, Bob!) who trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Every meal was absolutely delicious — far beyond what I ever expected from treatment food. The staff is what truly sets Little Creek apart. Every single person genuinely cares about the residents. My counselor, Steve, was tough on me — exactly the way I asked him to be — and he pushed me to face things I had avoided for years. It wasn’t easy, but it was exactly what I needed. I also want to give a huge shout out to Goose (yes, that’s his name!), Mason, Dane, Allen, Meg, Dongo, and so many others. The nurses were incredible as well — always attentive, compassionate, and supportive. Another surprise was the activities. I’ve never been a “nature” person, but somehow I loved every second of it. We did yoga, horseback riding, archery, hikes, go-karts, kayaking, and more. It made recovery not just about the difficult work, but also about rediscovering joy and trying new things. The lodge is small, which I think is one of its strengths. It maxes out at 17 guys, and during my month there we averaged around 10. That intimacy made it easier to build strong connections with both the staff and other residents. As a gay man, I was also nervous at first, but I never once felt out of place. Even though I was probably the only gay person there, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone. They still call me 5 months later to check in on me. Proud to say I’m now 160 days sober today. I am beyond grateful for my time at Little Creek Lodge. They gave me the tools, encouragement, and community I needed when I couldn’t find it anywhere else. If you or someone you love is struggling, this is the place to go.

Besides for how close the men can be to the woman this was a nice place learnt a lot and met a lot of amazing people thanks for everything.

One Year Later: A Heartfelt Thank You It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since I was admitted to Water Gap Wellness. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how far I’ve come. Today, I’m thriving in my profession, deeply connected to my family and friends, and—most importantly—healthy in every sense of the word. From humble beginnings, I now wake up to a life filled with possibilities, choices, and hope. That transformation didn’t happen overnight—and it didn’t happen alone. The support, compassion, and guidance I received during my time in treatment will stay with me forever. Water Gap wasn’t just a stop along the way—it was a turning point. A place where I learned how to heal, how to grow, and how to believe in myself again. Water Gap provided me with amazing treatment! A real home away from home. The facilities are modern, clean and well kept. The grounds are absolutely stunning, a tremendous asset while going through the healing process. No matter the season wster gap is truly beautiful. I am so grateful to g-d for sending me here. Only he could have orchestrated for me exactly what I needed. The classes are inspirational, engaging and very informative. I learned so much and my entire life has changed for the better. Through my amazing Therapist Tina, I really got to understand myself so much better and to feel good about what I have to offer plus your amazing compassion and commitment to your job! Dr Chelew is right on target and so compassionate and intuitive. From the creative art therapy class with Katie, practical mindfulness with Al, book reading with shannon imagine finishing a book in a week! Ashley's calmness and kindness. CBT and creating powerful mantras with Jessica. Chris st coffee talk ,art and techniques with Sheldon as well as amazingly creative themes. Taylor your classes are so creative Carrisa is so inspirational with the 4 agreements. William the anger management classes you teach are unreal! Susan your making meaning out of grief class was incredible. Thank you Bart for the great skills based classes you teach. Melissa thank you for being a great case manager Faith you have helped me build my faith and see the hand of gd. And of course plan amazing recreational activities.
