With out this place I know that I wold not be here today I was at the end of my rope when I walked in there. I am so grateful for all of the staff at the clinic they have helped me so much all of them are very nice and they make me feel so comfortable when I am there and I feel I can talk to aney one that i walk up to and they will help with anything that i need i do not think that they don't get enough credit or praise for what they do there. My counselor has always listened to me talk for ever and not one time i have never felt like she was gouging me or looking down on me and has always give me the bet advice when I need it I just won't to let everyone know how great they are at the clinic and they will help anyone that walks in there that really wants to get help i know if I did it aney one can it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Aug 13, 2026 makes 1 year that I have been a patient of this clinic; before I made the decision to start treatment I was lost, stuck and had no idea where to start; I was fearful of withdrawal and of the shame that follows addiction but from day one of treatment this clinic with is counselors and staff helped me navigate through every obstacle I faced! My counselor Kali has been such an instrumental part of my journey and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her help as well as the nurse Mandi has made it a point to champion our milestones and congratulate us on our progress! Lastly, the director Rebecca does so much for us patients to make us feel welcomed and valued during our treatment, from pancakes in the winter, recovery day, and always being available to help with anything! WCTC is making a difference in the lives of so many people in our area! Thank you WCTC for all you do! You guys rock! Love you all!

I’ve been coming here for 7 years now, so thankful for this place and all the staff, they’re all so nice from the front desk to the nurses and counselors and Dr.Bailey is great too. I had tried so many different places before I came here and nothing ever helped but since coming here this is the longest I’ve been off of everything. If you’re having trouble with addiction I highly recommend this place. 10/10

Today, I had the enjoyable experience of meeting Adam & his friend outside the Ravenswood WV Food Fair. I believe in this program & pray more locations will open. Addiction is at epidemic levels. Many need help or a voice that says, "I care about you". I do care about all of you & you can be reassured that God does too. The enemy comes to steal, kill & destroy. The youth are in his cross hairs. You're a target because you're a threat. You need to know how valuable you are. We all should do anything we can to help this organization. In response to the other comments, would you rather your loved one be either dead or homeless on the streets due to addiction? Can't comprehend anyone that is negative or has anything bad to say about a program that's saving lives. You should be grateful. I'm beyond thankful for this program. I hope in the future I will be able to help you even more. I will pray for all of you. You're loved! I hope God blesses all of you! Stay strong!

I was at the Westcare facility there in Ashcamp from early 2024 till mid fall 2024. I'd heard horror stories about the facility and staff while incarcerated. I was shocked when arrived there to finish my sentence out. The food is actually good and the staff...I cried when I left. The men and women there had made me feel like a human being. They helped me through the re-entry process and were professional yet human. I may not have agreed with every procedure there, but they cared and it showed. Mr. Sebastian, and everyone there... thank you for all you did.

This review is a little late in the making. This treatment facility, it's programs and it's staff were great. This is the type of treatment center you want when you are truly ready to change. I've seen a lot of ppl just quit and leave because of, well , you name it. If a person isn't truly ready for change then any excuse to leave is good enough no matter what treatment center it is. If you or a loved one or someone you know has a problem with addiction and is ready, I mean truly ready for positive change then I believe Westcare will help you do it.

This place changed my life I'm now clean an sober , I have regained my family , a job , and the knowledge , and tools that I needed to suceed being sober. My counselor Mr Ratliff understands the mindset of an addict . We all have a choice to either get clean or not . And the people that run off or give bad reviews in my opinion dont want to change , if nothing changes then nothing changes . I spent my whole life giving in to drugs the easy way it takes work to stay clean .

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! I read through the reviews, and I can assure you. Do not base your opinion of this place by the bad ones. If you are truly ready to make a change in your life. I promise, these folks will help you with being successful!

Its giving me back my life adulting..Not enough privacy and too much freedom in my early recovery didn't work well with me in my past.. I am blessed to live here along side many other recovering addicts.. I have also been blessed to see the parking lots fill up with cars and friends move back to their home towns or new apartments.. I’ve been coming to Prestera since it was Shawnee Hills back in the 90’s. It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?” At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂 The therapists are amazing though. They’ll sit there all calm while I’m explaining my life like it’s a dramatic series, and then hit me with one question that has me rethinking everything on the drive home like, “well… that was personal.” And now with PCP services?? So I can talk about my feelings and get my blood pressure checked in the same place? Efficient. Convenient. Slightly suspicious how well they understand my needs. Staff is super kind, super patient, and somehow still nice even when I say things like “I think I’m fine now” after one good day. 10/10 would recommend. Came for therapy, stayed because they’re low-key helping me get my life together in every category.

Would have given 5 stars but I’m waiting for security to call me back bc they are trying to locate my husbands 3xl Dickies long sleeve shirt that he wore as a jacket and I accidentally left it when he was released and when I got back the next day it wasn’t in the drawer so I checked at the nurses station and it wasn’t there and they said that house keeping cleaned the room and they had to do something with it so I called security and they said that they have a lost n found in house keeping also so he’s checking and supposed to call me back. Im hoping that he can find it and that the house keeper who worked Tuesday, may 5th (we were released at 6pm) and cleaned room 222 (second floor) didn’t steal the shirt but, they could have left it at the nurse station and they should have and didnt. They possibly could have put it in the loss n found in house keeping but I just don’t know why they would have. It’s a dickies men’s shirt and it’s not even that great or new but it was just his “coat” that made me so mad about it and if they took it then they are stealing and they shouldn’t be trusted bc what if someone left something with money in it? They’d not turn it in either! When they clean the rooms they should know that if they find something they shouldn’t keep it or at least wait a few days before keeping it and see if it’s a important enough item for the patient who left it to come back after it. They might not have enough workers and they might not care for that reason but if they are stealing they should lose their job! Now the reason for the 4 stars was the great ER staff who had my husband admitted and moved upstairs in no time. The nurse who was trying to give him a IV like to never got one and blew two of his veins but anyone can have a bad day so it doesn’t mean she was a bad nurse, she was very nice he said. Upstairs we had Shelly who was Amazing! She made our night go ahead smoothly and exceptionally nice! She changed his IV to a new spot and got it the 1st time! She brought us everything we needed and asked me if I needed anything to! She was the best nurse I’d ever seen! Usually you have to ask for help but I didn’t have to ask her for nothing and she was coming through our door when I would have anything even hit my mind so she just had excellent timing! The nurse that next morning was a great nurse but after a few hours into her shift she seemed like she was the one who needed a nurse…. She still did the best she could though and they sure did have a lot of walking to do around those halls. I’m just glad that they got my husband checked out fully and that he’s ok and didn’t have any blockages. I just really hope security calls me back and says that they found the shirt! 🤞🏻

My dad has been there a few times this summer and the care he has received has been exceptional. Every single time. People from reception, to pre op, to labs, ORs , Drs . All compassionate, caring and impressively knowledgeable. The fact they are on Epic and he has access thru MyChart makes it so much easier. He was in today for a test and labs. Was in and out within an hour, free parking, and his labs were posted in his MyChart before we got back to the car. I’m thankful that WVU Thomas and its great team are there for my parents and grandparents. Thanks Dr Rosencrance and WVU Medicine Thomas for the investments you are making in technology, facilities and people! It shows!!

My Husband just entered the program today. One would think I wouldn’t have the perspective to give a review but one would be wrong. The staff has been marvelous in every effort to get My Husband a bed and to get him transferred. They’ve helped me every step of the way and I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of them.

The complaints about the program from family could potentially be from their master manipulator residents who are looking for a way to justify leaving. I know, I was one accept everyone was done listening by the time i went. The complaints from Alumni,,, Everything changes and at 2:30 a.m., they are asleep, leave them alone. The building isn't supposed to be comfortable. It's not the Hampton. It's a starting point for Recovery. It's a place if personal discovery, acceptance and overcoming our self-induced crises with like minded people, staffed by those who did it already. It's not for everyone, but it could be, if you want it. There will never be a perfect rehab. It's addiction treatment. The help is there, again, if you want it and will get up everyday and get it.

I may have not went through this program but I am friends with everyone that is going through right now. This is where my AA home group is "STW" every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6 pm. These meetings have helped me grow in my recovery and has helped me find a lot of good friends.

Accountability is what held me back from being the best me. I needed that to keep me on the best path. They hold you accountable for your actions there, ppl may not like that and want to be mad when csught up, but you get what you put into life. Also, NONE OF THE PICTURES ARE FROM THE BTC lol. Idk why the didn't use real photos. Eh it's all good though.
