My stay here helped save my life! While the program is rigorous and rules are strict - if you throw yourself fully into the process, you will see results. I don't have firsthand experience with treatment here but I can say this is the only place in Toccoa including the "health department" where people are unashamed to talk about HIV prevention and harm reduction. I also know that the staff here go through a lot standing for what they believe is right including police harassment and intimidation for running a program that is 100 percent legal.

I’ve been bringing my son to Avita for years, and he’s worked with several different counselors. Until recently, it always felt like a struggle just to get him to go, and I honestly started to lose hope.
Since he’s been seeing Daniel, everything is different. My son actually looks forward to his sessions now, which is something I never thought I’d say. Daniel connects with him in a way no one else has, and the progress we’re seeing is real.
What I appreciate most is that Daniel doesn’t just focus on my son—he involves the whole family. He challenges me too, and has helped me recognize ways I can support my son better. Because of that, our relationship feels healthier and less like a constant fight.
If you’re a parent who’s been discouraged with counseling in the past, I can’t recommend Daniel enough.

My wife has Alzheimer's/FTD/PPA and was moved here from her memory care facility to get a medication adjustment and re-placement into another facility. Did some work there is an outside vendor. It’s a rehabilitation facility for men recovering from various forms of addiction. They learn how to live off the land and run a farm, everybody I saw there had a smile and a positive attitude, they invited me to eat with the patients and staff, the food was great. Im currently a client on methadone that has moved from Ca. to Ga. It was spur of the moment with no time to make arrangements. I spoke with ERIC on Healthqwests csr dept based on New Jersey. Fyi. Ive been in tech supt, customer service, Quality Assurance & M.I.S. For over 30 yrs Ive worn a headset and have been helping customers. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them.
Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt.
Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. Id be crippled, so you can see the magnitude of my plight.

I would absolutely recommend the lodge to anyone who is on the fence about approaching residential treatment. When I first got here, I was terrified- I barely remember the tour, and soon after I was alone in my room, waiting for my belongings to be checked. I thought I had made a bad decision, to be honest, before my first roommate came in. I made so many friends at the lodge, everyone here is so kind and empathetic towards your struggles- including the staff! I know I probably wouldn't have and couldn't have made so much progress on my mental health journey without the lodge. Getting to see the animals, go to coffee, and participate in groups was wonderful. I hope everyone is able to get the chance to experience the lodge if they can, as it can be truly life-changing.
Thank you to the therapists there, the swing shift techs, and all the friends I met along the way. I hope everyone is able to find whimsy at the lodge, as I did.

My wife was flown in to the hospital from Stephen’s County hospital because as SCH said MGMC resources are more extensive. My wife was a hairs breath from death. A team of doctors, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center took her case , operated and took care of her heart problems that had just manifested itself while at SCH. These skilled doctors saved her life and restored her health.
I am very grateful to the team of doctors and nurses that kept watch over her for the whole time she was there, four weeks mostly in ICU.
In my opinion this is the place to go for fast, efficient and empathetic care.
I thank each one on the team and those that helped them with their work.

I don't leave reviews... so the one and only review that I will leave will be for the place that gave me a hope when I had none. I went to this facility July 9, 2018. One of the instructors there said that he had never relapsed and when he picked up his chip he wasn't going back to have to pick it up again. This challenged me... I have been sober for 6 years now. This facility taught me surrender. It taught me humility. It gave me a soft cushion to land while learning these lessons about the terrible person I was. It offered me a hand to help me up... most of all... it gave me a plan of how to live and never get back into the condition I had gotten myself into. I carry the Big Book with me everywhere I go in my van with my now 3 children. I am a child of God, I am a wife, and I am a mother. Thank you Owls Nest Recovery... may you be proud of the difference you make in the world. You are making sober soldiers that carry this message to others. God is moving in this place... keep it up!

Update: After being here a couple of months I can honestly say these are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. It seems like every new staff member I meet is friendlier than the last, it's crazy. So if you need MAT treatment and you are in the area look no further than New Season in Morganton. You won't regret the choice. I also changed my review to a five because if anybody deserves it they do. I just can't recommend this place enough, I'm lucky to get such a nice place after the horror stories I've heard about other clinics.

Project Adams had gone above and beyond to help with my alcohol assessment and was in constant contact with my out of state lawyers. The heart that went with this was awesome and I definitely recommend for anyone that is having issues contact this rehabilitation center.

I am in project Adam. When I first came in the program I was there to do what I had to and nothing else ....some were along the way.
