The end results I ended up self loving myself and very eager to become of more knowledge. I’m grateful for CCS and it’s councilors. If u pay attention and want the knowledge you will have growth and prosper in it. I even ran the AA meetings and a few NA. I went from a total zombie stage to I want more for myself and my family. Wayne also helped me get in a half way house. The staff was amazing. The food was straight up delish. I am very grateful God lead me to CCS . It was a great learning and growth experience. When the frist medicine didn't work, she found me another, and said "if this wasn't work will try another and another. We'll find you something" and that ment the world to me. She has been nothing but kind and helpful. As for Dawn again. She is really wonderful. She listens and she cares. She's so bubbly and you can tell she enjoys her job. At that time, I didn’t realize how much of a codependency I had with my son. Even after dropping him off, I tried to stay involved in the day-to-day details which was the very reason I dropped him off in the first place. So i wouldn’t have to stay in the details and could focus on me. My advice is to let the process work. My son is now in a much better place and said this was the best decision he had ever made. I am also in a much better place and the Tuesday night parent calls are a must do for any one that has family in the program. NSR provides more freedom and flexibility in their program that a lot of other places did not. That was a deciding factor when I was initially looking for a place for my son to go. Then I found next step, and my second chance at a better, clean and sober life. I've been in and out of rehabs and detoxes my whole life. But this facility was different. I was welcomed like I was family and I had come home. With the love and compassion, not judged, but given a real chance at a better life. I'm currently living in the sober living house, and unlike a lot of places. The houses are very nice, clean, and up to date homes fully furnished. The staff is excellent, and always available to help with anything I need. Today I feel like a better man, a better husband, a better father, and I owe it all to next step recovery. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction. What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions. If you come here and do exactly what you’re supposed to do then the stay will be amazing. By doing what you’re supposed to do I mean going to group on time, taking your meds on time, be friendly to clients and staff, have patience with staff when you’re not getting something as soon as you want it. There’s always more clients than staff so patience is key. Rehab is not a vacation. Rehab is meant to be hard and test you just like real life would. Accept responsibility where you are wrong and take accountability for your actions. We put ourselves in rehab, rehab did not call us. I see these bad reviews on here and it seems like it’s just clients who didn’t get there way and decided to complain on here about it. The staff at Crestview works hard to make sure all clients needs are taken care of but there are a lot of clients who just can’t seemed to be pleased. Don’t lie to staff or they will catch you. My recovery journey started with October Road when I entered their PHP program, which at the time was called the River House. One thing I’ve learned in recovery is that many treatment programs struggle with staffing, and people in early recovery often don’t have positive examples to look up to. That was not my experience here—far from it. I was surrounded by staff who genuinely cared and demonstrated what recovery, professionalism, and service look like every day. The BHTs, clinicians, counselors, and support staff created an environment that was both structured and supportive. Justin, Alex, Chuck, and Gray made a lasting impact on me. They treated us with dignity, held us accountable, and encouraged us to believe that a better life was possible. The community was just as important. The groups were meaningful, the other clients became a source of support, and the overall culture helped me build a strong foundation for recovery. During my time there, I served as the cook for my house and even became the barber for many of the clients. We built healthy relationships, supported one another, and enjoyed simple things like going to the river after clinical days. I continued my journey with October Road through IOP and early recovery services. Even today, I still use October Road for my medical needs. I also return from time to time to speak with clients and share my experience, strength, and hope.
