Arrowwood has been a great experience. The people here make all the difference. Jamie is EXCELLENT at what he does as an alumni coordinator. He does amazing peer support work. Keegan, Jess, Ms. T, and Ajai are phenomenal group facilitators. Uschell, Joel, Suge, Quan, Claud, Crystal, and Tracy are amazing BHT's. Everyone is so supportive. CFD saved my life I have battled an Ed for 2 years now and since coming here and just leaving my life has been turned upside down for the better. I have learned so much here than I have in any other treatment. CFD helped me fix my body image issues and helped my exercise addiction and I was able to find other activities to enjoy besides those. All the staff here are absolutely amazing and so kind. I love you Sebastian, Lydia, nurse ester, and Sarah. I had a therapist switch in the middle of treatment but my new therapist was still able to provide an amazing experience at CFD and helped me so much. CFD is great and the treatment is very personalized with your own personal meal plan and after a while you can prep your own meals and go on walks. My favorite thing was going out and going on exposures to help me. All my peers were amazing and always so helpful. The staff is so kind and respectful. You can also go on walks once you reach medical stability. Highly recommend CFD.

Center for discovery really saved my life! when I was admitted to cfd I was scared, but all the staff were so welcoming and very helpful with answering any questions I had. Most of the staff were extremely kind and so understanding. Nurse Esther was the best nurse ive ever had an all of my treatment. I want to give my opinion about this place. I was there and it was a good experience. They were quick to attend to the patient. The truth is that UVA Health came to change everything. I advise that if you have an emergency, go there, don't hesitate. It's a new administration. It's like being in Fairfax Hospital. If there were 20 stars, I would give them to them.

Went to the emergency room with severe pain from gallstones and everyone was very friendly and very thorough. They had me seen right away and it seemed like there was only one other family in the waiting room. Everyone was very kind and helpful even with me being in so much pain I could barely walk and so much anxiety. I can t speak highly enough of my experience. I have never before been to a medical facility where every single person was so kind, from the front desk, triage nurse, phlebotomist, nurse, ultrasound tech, and doctor. They even got me set up to get a call the next day to set up a consult regarding surgery.

My daughter was there this past summer and they really worked with her and helped her through group and one on one therapy. Personally I like the people who work here and haven't had any bad experiences with them but some of the other clients have made me uncomfortable many times. I'm aware it's a clinic for addiction but that shouldn't give anybody an excuse to treat others horribly. If you come here and do what you're supposed to do then it'll be a good experience overall.

WMTC is a great place and they provide a great service. If you can get past some of the stupidity of some program statements/practices you will do great. An example is I had 5 take homes per week which meant I only had to go in 2 days a week, but when I started to taper down by 3 mgs a week (my dose was only adjust once a week) they took my take homes....it was clear they wanted to keep me strung out on methadone! I went down to 10 mgs and quit and have been doing great for over a year...….so I appreciate them getting me off heroin but it is clear places like this want to keep your payment coming in !!!

While asking for help and following through is not easy or necessarily fun, the team you work with is going to help you a lot. Sandstone helped me with the building blocks I needed to be alive today. She, even, stayed with me while I waited for my ride to come, which I thought was really sweet and i really appreciated it. I had alot of fun doing Pearlers while chit-chatting with other alumni. Sandstone care was a a huge part of my healing journey. I was so enthusiastic to be there again. It was nice to be surrounded by peers who understand mental health struggles as well as the challenges associated with navigating the pyschiatric healthcare system and balancing mental health treatment with school and/or a job. Loved the event! Will strongly recommend! Would love to see alumnis from my time there and catch up in future events!

This was my first time in treatment. Honestly, it completely changed my life. The bonds that I ve made in this place, the sober network I ve built, getting my psych meds right, the entire staff and facilitators- have all been such an extraordinary experience for me. I never understood the difference between just being sober/clean versus actually working a program/recovery. RU has helped me to understand that recovery goes beyond clean time- and it s about changing who you are for the better and continuing to progress as a person overall. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has even the slightest desire to change their life for the better. Gold star all around! AND THANK YOU FOR CHANGING MY LIFE!

Recovery Unplugged was an amazing experience for myself who had tried treatment a bunch of other places and routes, it was truly my last stop. Wonderful staff and very engaging groups! Would recommend to any friends or family looking to get clean or follow up on their sober journey to check them out!!

We recently had an experience at Virginia Hospital that I feel compelled to share, especially given the circumstances surrounding my 91-year-old father's procedure. From the very beginning, the staff demonstrated a level of care and understanding that was truly remarkable.The process started with our ability to check him in the night before the procedure, which eased a lot of our worries. The nurses on the 6th floor, particularly Annabelle and Shoriyah, provided exceptional care on the first day. Their kindness and attentiveness made a significant difference during a stressful time.On the second day, after my father's procedure, we found ourselves in the ICU, where the nurses, doctors, and staff continued to impress us with their professionalism and compassion. Thank you to Shelby and Michael to name a few. They genuinely understood the challenges that come with my father's dementia. Unlike our experiences at Inova Fairfax and Inova Fair Oaks, where we often felt that the medical staff lacked patience and understanding, Virginia Hospital truly gets it. They recognized his agitation and combative behavior as part of his condition and treated him with the dignity and respect he deserves.It's clear that the staff at Virginia Hospital understands that the way you treat a patient is crucial. They provided not just medical care, but emotional support that made us feel relieved and reassured that our father was in good hands.I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care we received. I have been very happy with the care my 89 year old mother received. We had one small mishap - not serious- but did delay surgery. The hospital made it so right. I can't say enough about the entire staff of Arlington Hospital. Dr. Petersen is a very trusting surgeon. Lucky and blessed to get him. Would highly recommend this health care and hospital.
