I have been going to the Kent Comprehensive treatment Center for a little over a year now. I did have a small break after only being a client for 3 months or so. But came back because I was ready to use the program for what its intended for. I've made some friends at the clinic. I credit the in person art group for helping me rediscover my love for coloring/drawing. The staff are always super friendly. And the counselors are all here for us when we need the help. If you've contemplated going to a methadone clinic, I will always recommend doing it. Cause it saved my life as well as my girlfriends. And I will always be grateful for that

Im on my second week this week and I truly love it the two girls in reception are total sweethearts and my counselor Amy i knew her 5 seconds before I knew I was in good hands I instantly felt comfortable and that I could tell her anything and I new she actually cares and isn't there just for a paycheck ! And idk why I didn't listen to people sooner about getting on the program it's working and I'm slowly but surely getting better

The negative reviews are mostly people that push the limits of their program and try to game the system. Yes there is hope you have to jump through when you start and precovid there were a lot more of them. Now they have streamlined the system so aslong as you are stable and showing up when your supposed to it’s as simple as spending a few minutes at a time you choose between 6am-12pm waiting to get your meds and go once or twice a month. The dosing staff and doctors are doing their best to work with getting everyone in as few times as possible while making sure you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing the only real negative is the other clients can be a lot to handle when you are trying to get clean in the beginning if they aren’t. Front desk staff and councilor turn over is roughly every two years but that’s the average in the industry so bake that in to your plan. All the way around this is the high water mark for MAT clinics in the state and your alternative is to keep suffering day to day waiting on deadbest people that don’t care about you. SIGN UP TODAY you won’t regret it.

i’ve been to a few of these clinics in my life, This is a really good one. I got off to a slow start though. Hint: *make sure the doctor is in that day, if you want to get it done fast!. and if you’re trying to get on meds the same day, get there real early. Staff is friendly, patient, Doctor is amazing, Only good to say after three months.

Yes,at first I hated the treatment but as time went on and I surrendered the program was awesome.Ive been through numerous treatment centers and doing a 3 month program and putting the work in honestly this time has worked for me .The staff is very helpful and respectful and are there to help .

I entered this facility last week when I was moments away from catastrophe, skeptical, hopeless, angry at myself, and embarrassed. They saved my life, which seemed unimaginable to me 7 days ago. If someone I loved and cared about was ever in the situation I was in, I would recommend this world-class hospital. Everyone’s experience is different and I understand why there is volatility in the ratings here. I’ll grade specific aspects to paint a better picture of my experience: Care team: A+ Every encounter I had with every nurse, social worker, mental health counselor, and security guard was positive. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about the patients, each of which had diverse needs and circumstances. I have no idea how they assembled all of these talented and compassionate people on one team. Each person had their own unique approach and areas of expertise, but everyone maintained the same standard. I wish I had written down names while I was there, but I’m especially grateful to Sonja and staff. Facilities: A Every square inch of this place was designed with patients in mind. The private rooms are like a boutique hotel with a beach vibe, each coming with their own private bathroom, custom room-by-room temperatures with centralized air, sound machines, light dimmers, and yoga mats. If it weren’t for small reminders that I was in a psych ward, such as no toilet seats, it would seem like I was at a resort. The common area shares the same level of quality, with ice machines, TVs, quiet rooms, and activities. The jail-quality beds and pillows are the only con. Security and safety: A I was envisioning a room full of dangerous and violent psychiatric patients that would potentially require me to defend myself. Instead, I encountered a group of terrific and pleasant people. There were 0 seconds in which I felt unsafe, and there are measures like 24/7 security, cameras, removal of unsafe objects, & room checks that protect patients and staff. This isn’t a place you need to sleep with 1 eye open or worry about physical safety. Food: B Depends on what you get, but it was pretty good. 3 meals per day, snacks in the fridge, and nighttime tea. Upper echelon hospital food & Starbucks coffee. Autonomy: B- There are a lot of rules and while they are necessary, it was difficult to adjust. Still, the staff takes steps to ensure patients have freedoms within the confines of those rules, such as cordless phones that patients can access at any time. Visits are 2X a day and it was so nice to have a visitor in my room. Psychiatrist: F It isn’t surprising that many negative reviews center around the psychiatry aspect. During my 1st appointment with Dr. Avila, I was prescribed powerful antipsychotics. When I asked about options, I was met with hostility, which shocked me. I started thinking I might be imagining conflict, but each appointment became progressively more uncomfortable. I was accused of not taking part in the program, which was so disappointing because asking for help in the first place was so incredibly difficult (I preferred death a day before I came in). When I couldn’t immediately commit to an outpatient program, as I wasn’t sure if I would be on leave, he told me leave was for people who were actually trying to get better. On the day I was ready to go home, he placed me on a hold and threatened me with detainment at an involuntary facility. I asked to see the laws he was citing to better understand my rights, and he became irate. As someone who hates seeking help, this was all of my worst nightmares come true. I didn’t chat with other patients about this, as I didn’t want to interfere with their journeys by creating a weird environment. Unsurprisingly, I was cleared in 5 minutes when I was finally evaluated by someone else. Overall: A+ I don’t think I’d be here if I picked another facility. If you’re on the fence about taking the brave step to enter this place, I hope you reach out for help. 5 stars.

I was here in 2018 and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were all very kind, I felt like people cared that I was there, and as an added plus, the food was amazing. It was still inpatient, definitely, but I would recommend this hospital before I would recommend anywhere else. The shortest stay possible is about 4 days, which is incredible. I truly felt cared for, and received much of the help I needed. I also applied for financial assistance and didn’t have to pay a single penny for my stay.

I’ve been to IOP before. This treatment center is outstanding. Everyone that works there including the owner are in recovery. The counselors are understanding and they really care about your recovery. Compared to other treatment centers that are only interested in your money.

The facility itself wasn't good but wasn't bad either, but what did make this a five star review is how much love and empathy the facility genuinely had for me, they were the only people who treated me like I was a person instead of a weapon or a criminal or even just someone to use, the only requirements they had were literally just to follow a structured life while in there, be respectful, and be the best version of myself while needed, Majority of the staff in there had experience and stories that would actually help a young man like myself keep composed and actually learn something, and the counselors in there were top tier and actually loved the kids unlike the justice system in Washington state, they were genuinely so cool that I idolized them, and my counselor's Dillon.p and Oriana actually gave effort into analyzing my mental health problems and actually giving me ways to handle it, and the funny thing is every psychologist and therapist I've seen couldn't see past any of my words, that's how you know these "Counselors" actually cared enough to listen to me when I needed it, and the floor staff were hella cool and were people I'd genuinely hangout with outside of rehab if I could, even the cooks were chill, and Sabrina and cj and Kristen were so professional that I looked up to them even, plus don't get me started on the chill therapist aakanksha genuinely a sweetheart, this message is very long so I'm gonna wrap it up though, if you want a treatment that will not only get your kid sober, but also help them mature and actually want to have better emotional control and mature to be a dope person, please consider seamar they genuinely hold a place in my heart and I loved it here and would actually go back just to be there if I could, also forget to mention maria she's also hella cool and sits down and gives time to those in need, anyways that's all I gotta say I love you seamar and i appreciate you changing my life.(Shout-out Shaq and jairo too)

I came hear a bit ago 2 times actually it’s honestly not a bad place I actually liked it the staff are chill probably there new staff but usually all the staff I have meet are good people the foods hella good to I lowkey miss it but the first time I went I was doing dumb stuff honestly I was not really taking it serious wich ended up n me running away but the second time I went they where hella welcoming I was honestly surprised they actually let me back but this last time I went it was amazing I did talk to the mental Health therapist and my counselor a lot they was all hella respectful what they said made sense they have a program that comes every once in a while and they do activities outside but honestly seeing all these people complain honestly it also really depends what other teena are there wi u but it’s all up to you when it comes to stopping

I denied going in for PTSD reasons but there was this staff that I sat and talked about philosophy and life with. I even showed him how to play "come as you are" by Nirvana on guitar. It really touched me man and if that staff is seeing this, thank you so much bro you heard me when nobody else did and that changed everything I'm 16 now and doing better then ever, truely thank you so much. (Edit: Also, I don't doubt that this place is a solid place to get better if you genuinely want too also the staff are super down to earth and seem to truely care, it has warmer/cozier tones and lights, and the sweats they give you are super comfy.)

Dispite what other comments say, I've actually had a great time getting things scheduled in a timely manner that isn't super far out compared to other places. The therapists and psychologist are awesome people. Haven't had any sort of issue, and really feel like this is a highly underrated place.

Wonderful and a great place to refocus whether court ordered, Employer referrals or self. The therapist are awesome, they have your back even when you fall short. I miss the therapist guided group sessions. NWRC brought out the best in me and gave me the tools to navigate through my recovery. and yes, it was fun too. Kudos NWRC

Can't thank the staff at Overlake outpatient enough! I went in super depressed and pretty hopeless I came out with tons of new skills to help cope with both my anxiety and depression... Saul is great. Very respectful and kind and good at his job. Makes you feel welcomed. The clinic is not comfortable or inviting. The patients don't have access to the patient portal and my psychiatrist told me that it is because of "our population."
