⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars! I was an athlete my whole life—earning multiple full-ride scholarship offers to play college basketball and football. I thrived as the starting quarterback at Glacier Peak High School and competed in a wide range of sports: MMA, black belts in karate and Tae Kwon Do, BMX biking, snowboarding, surfing, rock climbing, and more. But a string of serious injuries changed everything: I broke two vertebrae in my back playing football, tore my MCL and ACL playing basketball, broke my nose, and suffered many other major injuries. My addiction began as a direct result of being overprescribed opioid pain medication for these injuries. Back then, opioid prescriptions were handed out far more freely and without the strict oversight we have today. I became one of many who unknowingly fell victim to that crisis. After years of pain and physical setbacks, I also suffered a severe work injury as a marine machinist at the Port of Seattle shipyard—where I proudly served as a member of IAM Locals 76 and 79, District 160. I herniated two discs in my lower back, lost my mobility, and was forced to give up the physical lifestyle that defined me. Evergreen Treatment Services changed my life. From the moment I started at their Seattle clinic through the support I received at the Renton clinic during difficult times, ETS has been nothing short of outstanding. Their professionalism is unmatched—efficient, kind, courteous, and deeply compassionate. Staff don’t just treat you—they truly care and go above and beyond to help. My counselor Jeff is wise, supportive, and positive, even on my darkest days. Every team member, from front desk to nurses and technicians, treats you with respect and dignity. I’ve been a patient and receiver of M.A.T. Services (medication assisted treatment) for over 15 years. As a result of my addiction, I spent over 5 years incarcerated in prison and additional time in county jails, psych ward etc. I have tried countless programs - including Suboxone, the vivitrol shot, I've been to 10 treatment programs intensive inpatient, intensive outpatient, halfway house programs faith-based recovery programs including teen challenge and the Los Angeles dream Center Christian Boot camp discipleship program, NA, AA, CA, Celebrate Recovery, SMART recovery, Buddhist Recovery - but nothing compares to the stability and hope I’ve found through methadone treatment at ETS. Despite homelessness, serious health issues, and mental health challenges, I’ve never missed a dose or a day. Their unwavering support has been the foundation of my recovery and new life. I have been through four rehabs. I came to ATA because my attorney sent me to them. I was arrested for DUI. My checkered past with rehabs came from jobs or family members pressuring me. I ignored everything until I was arrested. I had a blackout and drove. I could have killed people. Everyday I see the news and read about people who drive drunk and killed people. I am blessed not to be in the news. My assessment from ATA opened my eyes. I have had a lot of violence and trauma in my life, but I have to take responsibility for my choices in life. I am grateful for the compassion and guidelines i got from the relapse prevention program. ATA did everything to make me grow. They did not lock me into a never ending program for their own profit.

I have had several appointments with Karen Krikorian at the Kent location. She is insightful, easy to talk to, and understanding. I feel like she is determined to figure out my medication combinations. She also has other suggestions that may help with my diagnosis. There is no pressure and she is very patient. My experience with Karen Krikorian was much better than I expected based on my prior interactions with psychiatrists from other organizations. She was efficient and sympathetic while working with me to find alternative medicines for my condition.

Been with consejo since I was teenager and had returned as an adult...I have been consistently receiving help from my therapist from the last 3 years. I have noticed betterment in my self. I'm happy that I get support and understanding culturally being 1st generation of an immigrant family. I’ve been to IOP before. This treatment center is outstanding. Everyone that works there including the owner are in recovery. The counselors are understanding and they really care about your recovery. Compared to other treatment centers that are only interested in your money.

New Life Recovery has been a blessing.. They are professional, well educated in recovery and have the knowledge of what a person needs in starting there New Life with sobriety!!! The staff is outstanding !!! There will help you in every way, if want want the help!! I’m very thankful that New life Recovery is there to assist me with my New Life!!!

Five for five nice people great place

Tree Lighting was pretty fun our kids had a blast. They talk to Santa got glitter tattoos, and played in the fake snow machine. It ended with all 4 kids smiling, laughing, and singing all the way home.

All the staff are so professional, helpful and friendly! Very welcoming environment for kids. My son is working with Nishita for about 6 months now and he's made so much progress. He looks forward to coming in to talk to her. And she's great at following up and keeping us up to date with his progress. Highly recommend this sea mar location for children or family therapy.

Ignatius is a rare and extraordinary counselor. As someone in my mid-forties experienced with excellent therapists (EMDR, lifespan integration, NVC), I hold a high bar—and Ignatius exceeds it. My elementary-aged son lights up when it’s time for sessions—he walks out taller, more grounded, and equipped with tangible skills for emotional regulation and lasting resilience. Ignatius brings an extraordinary depth of skill and presence, meeting my son exactly where he is and supporting him through both a complex co-parenting dynamic and challenges with a bully at school. The growth has been truly transformative. Forever grateful!

So to preface, I’m giving my current therapist 5 stars 100%. She’s super helpful and has been a tremendous help!! As for past care, I’d say it’s quite rocky. Some therapists and psychiatrists that I worked with were good, while others not so much. Maybe we just didn’t fit, maybe they just weren’t that good, who cares. I think this is a great place to get help when you need it. If I wasn’t seeing my current therapist I’d probably rate a 3 or lower because trying to contact psychiatrists, can be a grueling process when in between appointments. And sometimes it felt like I was a “trial run” with some seemingly inexperienced therapists. As seen by reviews though, you have to have your own experience here to draw a conclusion on if you like it.

Will update my review in the future if needed. So far care has been excellent, I did a walk-in and got an intake the same day, then got assigned a counselor right away who has been on time and communicative about appointments. Starting med management soon, the waitlist was actually shorter than estimated. Friendly front desk staff. Clean and attractive facility with good privacy features. Can always find a parking space in the medium-sized parking lot.
