I have been through four rehabs. I came to ATA because my attorney sent me to them. I was arrested for DUI. My checkered past with rehabs came from jobs or family members pressuring me. I ignored everything until I was arrested. I had a blackout and drove. I could have killed people. Everyday I see the news and read about people who drive drunk and killed people. I am blessed not to be in the news. My assessment from ATA opened my eyes. I have had a lot of violence and trauma in my life, but I have to take responsibility for my choices in life. I am grateful for the compassion and guidelines i got from the relapse prevention program. ATA did everything to make me grow. They did not lock me into a never ending program for their own profit.

I have had several appointments with Karen Krikorian at the Kent location. She is insightful, easy to talk to, and understanding. I feel like she is determined to figure out my medication combinations. She also has other suggestions that may help with my diagnosis. There is no pressure and she is very patient. My experience with Karen Krikorian was much better than I expected based on my prior interactions with psychiatrists from other organizations. She was efficient and sympathetic while working with me to find alternative medicines for my condition.

Been with consejo since I was teenager and had returned as an adult...I have been consistently receiving help from my therapist from the last 3 years. I have noticed betterment in my self. I'm happy that I get support and understanding culturally being 1st generation of an immigrant family. So to preface, I’m giving my current therapist 5 stars 100%. She’s super helpful and has been a tremendous help!! As for past care, I’d say it’s quite rocky. Some therapists and psychiatrists that I worked with were good, while others not so much. Maybe we just didn’t fit, maybe they just weren’t that good, who cares. I think this is a great place to get help when you need it. If I wasn’t seeing my current therapist I’d probably rate a 3 or lower because trying to contact psychiatrists, can be a grueling process when in between appointments. And sometimes it felt like I was a “trial run” with some seemingly inexperienced therapists. As seen by reviews though, you have to have your own experience here to draw a conclusion on if you like it.

Will update my review in the future if needed. So far care has been excellent, I did a walk-in and got an intake the same day, then got assigned a counselor right away who has been on time and communicative about appointments. Starting med management soon, the waitlist was actually shorter than estimated. Friendly front desk staff. Clean and attractive facility with good privacy features. Can always find a parking space in the medium-sized parking lot.

My daughter was struggling with severe mental health issues and over the past two years has been to several different programs and this was by FAR the absolute worst. It was the only program we did not complete. This program is basically plopping your teen in a chair ALL DAY to listen to a teacher talk. NO group therapy, no outside activity, no activities at all and a lot of down time (reading and whatnot). I will tell you teen group therapy is the one thing out of all these programs that my teen says helped the most. But the worst thing about this program was the CONSTANT threat of financial retribution if your teen is late, or god forbid SICK. This is just criminal to do to an incredibly stressed out parent trying to save their childs life. One day my daughter was in such a bad mental health state we needed to stay home but after threat of being charged $400 I got her in the car and drove her the hour there. I was able to get my daughter to the program but couldn't get her out of the car. I called her therapist and they refused to come down to help. But still threatened to charge me. Another day she was vomiting. Again, threatened to charge me. A year later, I am getting harassing emails trying to charge me $700 for 2 missed days. I am filing a complain with the Department of Health, BBB and emailing local news organizations. We have a teen mental health crises in this country and Org's like this are taking advantage of families in crises. Please help me in shutting this practice down.

Today my wife and I got our latest booster shot. The staff was professional, efficient and very polite.

I was in Thira's Partial Hospitalization Program for 8 weeks, followed by 7 weeks in their Intensive Outpatient Program. While I experienced some pretty significant problems (their therapist called me a liar in my first session, and their process for getting switched to a different therapist was appalling; medications were not always dispensed on time; etc.), overall my experience was positive. The other patients and most of the staff increased my success in the programs. I continue to use the DBT skills I learned on a daily basis. The most important measure is that my depression and anxiety are dramatically improved from when I started there. Thira was a big part of that.

Im not one to do reviews but Thira 100% saved my life, you have to know that no mental health facility is going to be perfect and that treatment isn’t a magic wand or a fix all. However you also have to know people here care and they along with DBT do provide a foundation with strong support of which you can build off of though and start a new. You are the biggest part of your recovery though! If you don’t try, you will get nothing out of it, they make trying easier. I am so thankful for this experience and the therapists I had and technicians and nurses as they all worked together beautifully. The vibe was not fake and there are problems, like anyplace however if you put in the effort, there’s no telling what you cant do. Your there because you hit rock bottom which trust me I know sucks, and it’s also the best thing about it because now there’s no where you can go but up, if you let Thira help you build that ladder at least from my experience, you will be climbing up again soon enough and with more ability than you ever have been able to before. Its not over and don’t let others distract from your journey or progress, its not about them, its about you.

The NWRC helped me work through a lot of the challenges that I was not ready to deal with until I started attending their sessions. They provide an open and inviting space to work through things at your own pace. Highly recommend, even if you feel that you are not ready when you start.

This place saved my life. With the help of my counselor, the staff, and what I learned while being there I was able to get sober and stay sober. I had no idea what to do, but I know I wanted my freedom back. I received the tools and knowledge to add to my desire to get my life back. Thank you!!

Wonderful and a great place to refocus whether court ordered, Employer referrals or self. The therapist are awesome, they have your back even when you fall short. I miss the therapist guided group sessions. NWRC brought out the best in me and gave me the tools to navigate through my recovery. and yes, it was fun too. Kudos NWRC

Just thought id give an honest unbiased review unlike the rest of the people on here who are just upset because the outcome isnt what they desired. I was honestly stressed coming in because i have PTSD so going to places are naturally worrisome for me but each lady at that front desk made me feel listened to and respected. Oh and to the people who complain because the desk ladies chat to each other, would you rather a non friendly environment? If you would prefer a rude/hostile place then go to intercepts in federal way.

They had an Nice back to school event for the kids this month. Got alot of resources, goodies, backpacks and more from really nice staff members 😀 👍.

Simply never had a bad experience here not sure why the reviews are so bad but they have been helping me for years without this place I would be living a completely terrible life thank you all working here and doing what you do so well
