I’ve seen a few therapist over the years and I’ve gotta say truly Spencer James is one of the best if not the best therapist in the world he has really been helping improve myself and my overall happiness with day to day activities and all of my anger issues he is seriously the real deal!! Thank you so much man I swear you deserve a raise after hearing my crazy spews sometimes lmao but thank for always being very active and helpful and thank you for calling me if I don’t make it to an appointment and staying on me. I know this is his job but it truly feels like he cares and even though my ADHD brain is literally everywhere all the time you always stay on track and keep up with whatever I’m saying even when I’m bouncing around from one topic to the next so thank you Prestera for employing such an amazing therapist

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself! I read through the reviews, and I can assure you. Do not base your opinion of this place by the bad ones. If you are truly ready to make a change in your life. I promise, these folks will help you with being successful!

I’ve been coming to Prestera since it was Shawnee Hills back in the 90’s. It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?” At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂 The therapists are amazing though. They’ll sit there all calm while I’m explaining my life like it’s a dramatic series, and then hit me with one question that has me rethinking everything on the drive home like, “well… that was personal.” And now with PCP services?? So I can talk about my feelings and get my blood pressure checked in the same place? Efficient. Convenient. Slightly suspicious how well they understand my needs. Staff is super kind, super patient, and somehow still nice even when I say things like “I think I’m fine now” after one good day. 10/10 would recommend. Came for therapy, stayed because they’re low-key helping me get my life together in every category.

Have nothing but great things to say about this place! I didn't get the black lady's name who did my intake on Thursday but she was AMAZING, and so was Kodara Wade who did my psych eval today! Thank you for working a Saturday and taking the time to see me! Those ladies were super friendly and personable! They both should get raises!!! ☺️

I'm a 2013 Graduate. The Rea is an absolutely phenomenal recovery home for women. Fantastic program. I couldn't recommend it more. All of my needs were met and I was taught how to live again. Best Drs. and nurses!!! My husband had a motorcycle accident yesterday and they had him in the back in seconds. They were prepared and were all taking his blood, had him hooked up to record his vitals and a ekg with mins. Then within no time at all took him to get a ct scan. They were on top of everything! They were all professional and so nice. We have never been treated that good at any other hospital. Also, to add, the hospital was very clean. I just know if something happens to me or my family. My brother is there at this time. I live out of state. I have been here with him in ICU for 3 days. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care he is receiving. Every one of his nurses and doctors have been so attentive and caring. The staff in the hallway and desks are truly there to help you every way the can. I am really impressed

I had an outpatient procedure today with Dr. Alhaj. The transfer to WVU medicine did great things for this hospital. The entire surgical team, recovery nurses and staff we're so genuinely passionate, caring, attentive, and as busy as they were still managed to stay on good time schedule. Registration was a breeze and quick as well. I highly commend all of them for their work!

Accountability is what held me back from being the best me. I needed that to keep me on the best path. They hold you accountable for your actions there, ppl may not like that and want to be mad when csught up, but you get what you put into life. Also, NONE OF THE PICTURES ARE FROM THE BTC lol. I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years I’m pretty sure I’ve been seeing McDaniels for 4. In the beginning of us going here my husband struggled with sobriety. I always felt comfortable talking to Becky about any of my concerns when it came to him. She knew I just wanted him to be sober with me. They never gave up on him & now he’s going on 2 years sober. I’ve been a patient of Hopewell for about 5 years now. The office staff is very courteous. The medical assistant that does your vitals, drug test, etc as well as takes you back to the room to see the doctor is always nice and well mannered. My doctor always listens to me and any problems that may be going on in my life at the time and she always expresses concern for whatever I may be talking to her about. I am completely satisfied with this place and the level of care I have always been given. I’m not going to disclose my doctors name but I do recommend Hopewell Place to anyone that is interested in receiving care for their mental health.

Medical detox is something I highly recommend. I was not uncomfortable for one minute once it began and the food is AWESOME. Bring your own soda and cigarettes because you can smoke outside.

This facility has truly helped alot of people in the area and alot of people feel they can always return if they need some help getting back on track whether it be detox or long term . Clients look up to Ms Blessing for the kindness she shows alot of people when they are at their rock bottom. Saw some bad reviews, only a few from people who were actually there. I met three ladies in outside a rural king store in Indiana. Talked with them and heard their stories and they touched my heart. Invited them to come to our Church and give their stories and they did. Had some sad beginnings but they all thanked God for what He and the program were doing in their lives. Our congregation gave them over 2000 dollars and we have not regretted it. They state up front that they are a Christian based organization, so if you are not ready to let God take control it is not for you. Our granddaughters mother is a struggling addict, now in jail. Am praying she can go and let's God guide her life.

Brian's Safehouse saved my life, hands down. I read a review stating that the treatment was ineffective, that was not my experience at all. Going to BSH is the most important decision I've ever made. Everything I lost in my addiction has been restored in just a few short years. I'm so thankful for the dedicated and attentive staff at BSH, who made me feel so welcome and loved from the day I arrived on campus. I tried several 30-day treatment programs in my home state of NC, but they did not work for me. I needed more help. The year long program, as hard as it was to commit to at the time, was just what I needed. A life mired in addiction is a hopeless existence if you're not willing to do anything about it. The outcomes are three as I see it: jail, death, or recovery. The decision is simple as look back on it. BSH can change the trajectory of your life, it did mine!

My son has been sober now for 8 years. Brian’s Safehouse changed him from a drug fiend to a tax-paying, loving man with a wonderful family. He learned the skills necessary to overcome his addiction and to maintain his sobriety. They have a great recovery community for support, social interaction, and, if desired, spiritual support.
