What a great community resource. Staff (administration and clinical) are attentive, compassionate and really embrace community service models. Case management for when you have children with complex medical histories has proven to be an great foundation for care. I recommend for any parent whose child needs general counseling. Mental Heath is just as important as physical healthcare.

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction.
What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions.
Today, I am sober and living a life beyond my wildest dreams, and I owe it all to the amazing team at Willow Ridge. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't hesitate to reach out to them. It was the best decision I ever made!!

I’ve searched for a good therapist and psychiatrist team for a long time and I’ve absolutely found it here! They seem to really care and are very genuine and patient. They are not there to push medication and get you out the door, they take the time to understand your symptoms and background to find ways that will help the most. I’d recommend them to everyone.

PLEASE don’t waste your time going anywhere else I promise you, “INSIGHT” is life changing. There is no where in NC that does what Insight does! (I searched for months). The way they reach these kids hearts & work with every aspect of building their emotional health while working with the substance abuse. The parents meet once a week & I have never felt so supported in my whole life! One year ago when we walked in those doors, I was so broken not knowing how to help her. I had just gotten my daughter out of the hospital the night before from Alcohol, drugs & cutting. Everything was of control. i was scared, alone & so desperate for help. We found Hope again & a support group like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Morgan- best Counselor ever/ Steve, Matt & Hailey (Best sponsor ever) they all had a huge part in saving my daughter's life! I was voluntary and quickly DTO’d due to not being able to articulate I was uncomfortable with the room I was in.
Due to COVID no visitors were allowed, however, hopefully if not ideal patients can at least FaceTime/messenger family
The one time the third floor went outside I don’t recalling grass, I believe it was all pebbles. When I transitioned to the second floor, there was a window in the room and we were able to go to the gym for group. I would hope that on the weekends, the third floor gets to visit the gym, I did not during my stay in 2023. The staff on the third floor, for the exact people, I need in my life to get help at that time. Essentially angels to me.
