I have received good care here ever since my first appointment over two years ago. I have had no issues even during my walk in appointments. My appointments have been punctual with little delays.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've always gotten good care, concern, and prompt responses from this clinic. It isn't a major center, like Salem, so if you know that before coming, you'll understand that they are not going to have every service and specialty represented here. Wytheville is lucky to have this clinic. It saves a lot of veterans many miles from not having to drive to Salem for routine and primary care visits.

The “ flash” indicates it’s a hospital. It is not. It is an ambulatory care clinic. Nice folks there.

Please read the whole review, I know it’s long, but there’s important stuff that really might help you out if you’re thinking about becoming a patient. Always keep in mind however, that you get out of it what you put into it. The counselors there are wonderful, especially Amber. She has advocated for me, she helped me get Medicaid so my medicine is free now which is amazing. She always tells me how proud she is of me and reminds me how much progress I’ve made when I’m starting to feel like I’m screwing up, sometimes you just need to hear that. I know that I can always depend on her. My first counselor was Dan he was wonderful, but I just thought that I would benefit more from having a female counselor. I also know that Ray is wonderful, but any of the counselors would be more than happy to help you if you can’t find yours. The only problems I have with this place are how difficult it is to get them on the phone sometimes, also one of the nurses is kind of rude, I understand that it is a difficult job however. The rest of the nurses are very kind especially April! Also Treva The nursing coordinator is an absolute nightmare. She was rude to me from the second I walked into that building. She for some reason has a personal issue with me and makes it known. That is so unprofessional you’re supposed to keep your opinions outside the door. That kind of stuff will send people back out and then they die. Other than that it’s great! The front desk lady is wonderful, the Director is absolutely wonderful, I enjoy the group Therapy, and if you’re doing the right thing and passing your drug test, you will phase up very quickly there. I’m already to two weeks, whereas at another clinic it probably would’ve taken me A year or even longer to get to that point. There was a time that I never thought I would even get a single take home and I’m already to two weeks! So thank you new river comprehensive treatment center. If it weren’t for you I would probably be dead, not only that but my mental health has improved drastically since I started there. One more person I would like to mention is Diana who does the Medicaid and financial stuff (I think)she is also extremely helpful and kind if you ever need help with anything.

I’m so glad I got sent there. They helped out me so much. I owe everything to them. A great place to go to get back up on ur feet.

Some Staff is cool and 3 staff my favorite and I do care about I just don't want them just get hurt at all they are my family forever

All the people who work in this center are wonderful, from the staff of the reception to the nurses who are always willing to help you when you need it. Really it was thanks to the help I received in this place that I was able to recover my life and start again, thanks for opening the doors for me to have a second chance.

The nurses are amazing and the counselors are genuinely concerned about the personal well-being of each of the patients. Great clinic and excellent people who work there, I highly recommend it to all people who are looking for a place to receive treatment. Coming to this clinic was the best decision I could have taken.

As a person who has been in numerous different MAT(medicated assisted treatment) programs I can honestly say this clinic is a lot better then some of course there’s room for improvement(my opinion) but overall it’s a good place and I’m beyond grateful that my wife n myself are patients there

Love the workers here they are all amazing. This placed saved my life I would not be alive today. This place taught me how to deal with severe depression anxiety and panick attacks without medication. This place also taught me how to stay sober and find myself again that I had list during years of drug use and traumatized life!! I love the workers here they are caring and my counselor I know I can go talk to anytime. I thank all staff for helping me abd saving life avd helping me find myself again and repair relationships with family.

The treatment you receive from the staff is very kind, they treat you as an important member of a large family. I am very happy to have attended this center.

Best detox I went to.

I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

Daymark has some of the kindest, most caring, patient, and genuine people on their staff! From the moment you walk in, the ladies at the front desk make you feel at home. They have a way about them, the way they welcome you and show they are sincere. The waiting area is so calm and peaceful. Every therapist, nurse practitioner, ect. I’ve seen have provided sincere care, and listen to absolutely everything you have to say. Highly recommended!

Rip doc Jackson and if u do what unsupported to u will never get drugs from the street again and u will not have no we're near the urges and craving u have n past and if u do then u still can't use cause u took ur meds.and it a clinic unsaid 90 plus days but I been goin 4 years and not 1 relaspe and I was addict if the worst kind shoot up my kids lunch money type dude now I got car from Shelor and and working kids at hone like I said life saver

I put a 4 just get you to read scale. Everything going great during intake webcam with Dr. Jessica Jeffrey . 5/8's into the prescription mesh she starts dropping ewaste cartridges. I mean like a test that determines if I have titty fat when we ask what it is right after --> I have a 5 and 0 runoff. So we are apexing somewhere else. Also out of the 6 meds that we got refilled the 7th was also not check for refill, just like the crisis center next door. What's good for the gang ... is good for the gang. try ABT counselling telehealth instead. Im here to try all the flavors.

I came from Loudoun County, Virginia, the wealthiest county in the United States. NRVCS is LIGHTYEARS beyond what Loudoun County offers. I probably can't even get into much detail, but mostly just, probably the opposite of what most people end up receiving in most other places, from level of care and attention, to excellent, helpful, LOGICAL, respectful, resourceful, dedicated, personalized experts in virtually any social services arena. Amazing, competent, caring and thorough staff, I personally cannot thank this place enough. NRVCS has helped me change my life around in a very efficient matter. They don't do "cookie- cutter" help. They help on so many levels on virtually any issues you could imagine. NRVCS should serve as an example to the entire nation on how to use community resources to ACTUALLY help people. I cannot recommend or thank them enough.

I will recommend NRVCS in Radford to any and everyone. They care. They listen. And they work with you. My psychiatrist took one session to fix my sleep habits and my counselor. Oh man. She is the best person ever on this earth. Thank you NRVCS. You really did save me and my life.

The staff at NRVCS(BLACKSBURG) are absolutely amazing and so is the Genoa pharmacy. If it wasn't for them my husband would be without his meds. I just want thank each and every one that works there for their understanding and courtesy. You guys rock!!
