Hope Valley was excellent. I have been to 2 other treatment centers and Hope Valley's curriculum, counselors, AA/NA knowledge and guidance far exceeded the others. The only issue i had was it is very hard to find the regular ER. My daughter dropped me off but it was at the labor ER. A very nice nurse concierge took me by wheel chair to the regular ER. I would have never been able to walk that distance. Everyone was very friendly and caring. I very highly recommend this place.

You only get into the detox center if their doctor approves you. He didn't approve my son. We have no idea why. My son wants to remove himself from the environment he's in and stop drinking and using. I am betting that he wasn't approved because he doesn't have insurance. So, if you really want help, I suggest going somewhere else. I will continue to spread the word every chance I get. They do not deserve even one star.

Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape.

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction.
What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions.

I have been going to the Freedom House Durham for about 7 years. The Freedom House has always been my comfort zone with battling life issues and struggles. Dr Julie Mutua has been the best doctor I’ve had for my mental health concerns. She is always available welcoming and she not only understands but she has a compassionate heart. The receptionist Ms Linda always is available for all my scheduling needs and I am so thankful and grateful for the services they have and will continue to provide me. The program offered multiple classes a day and they focused on eating, exercise, wellness, GLP-1s, planning, medical issues, cooking and they also offered support groups. There were also planned field trips to play pickleball, shop at target and shop at the mall. My FAVORITE activity was Aqua fitness which was held 2x a day. There was also an art classes held during my last week that I wish was offered more! The nutrition classes also taught me a lot I didn’t know.
The other people in the program were a pleasure to spend time with and it’s a very supportive environment.
The food was beyond amazing and Chef Thomas and his staff were wonderful. They had so many options of food. The food was healthy, but it tasted delicious! It was a great way to reset your eating and patterns around eating.
I had a 1 bedroom apartment and it was very nice and modern. There was plenty of space and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the bathroom.
If you are considering going to SH, I highly recommend it. During my time there, most of the people there were returning customers which says a lot! It means that people come back multiples times because it’s so great! I am hoping to be one of those return customers!
The only thing I would change would be more classes on the weekends 🙂

I went to Structure House in 2019. I can’t say enough about it. It helped me get into shape with the exercise classes and equipment. It helped me to develop healthy eating habits and because I stayed the whole month, I was able to stop my sweet cravings. In addition the classes taught me some great skills to catch myself when I want to go back to bad habits.
I am actually 20lbs lighter now then when I was when I left (144lbs) and now in my husband has lost weight from the skills I learnt when there.
My diabetes is a little better.
So thankful for Structure House!

It was my first visit and I'm already planning to return next year. Staff is outstanding and I have made significant improvements to my health. There is something for everyone here. The ladies up front and the nurses are all the reason this place is such a great place to get treatment at. Everyone there really cares, and they don't act like they are better then you . They are great people who make it worth your while to go to McLeod . They do not judge , and they treat you with much respect. Love all you ladies up front and all the nurses!

My counselor is wonderful. She honestly cares about me. Takes time to listen, she's understanding, gives advice and is very personable. The nurses are all so nice and they care about you too. The ladies that check you in, I love them. So very nice. Every person in the building is amazing. If you want help, they're there and will give you 100% of their time. I am so glad I decided to get my life together. The most, I'm glad I went there, to a place that really cares! Going there is the best decision I've ever made. So thankful for every single person there!!!
Edit... one reason I stopped going is because they (nurses) are not fair to all patients. 2 test exactly the same and 1 gets weekly take homes and the other doesn't. It was 1 nurse that was the 1 that did it over and over. I love those people and they really did save me, but fairness in take home's isn't consistent.

What a great community resource. Staff (administration and clinical) are attentive, compassionate and really embrace community service models. Case management for when you have children with complex medical histories has proven to be an great foundation for care. I recommend for any parent whose child needs general counseling. Mental Heath is just as important as physical healthcare.
