I was on the fence deciding if I wanted to try therapy again. I had some bad experiences in the past. I finally decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. Allison is amazing. She is so warm and friendly. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She has helped me understand my emotions and even to the point of why I feel the way I do during certain times. She listens and does not judge or stereotype me. Allison really cares about her clients. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me and she assured me she'd be there every step of the way. Intake employees were very nice and respectful and attentive to my needs as a patient, day to day staff seems to try for the most part to help patients but don't really b understand what we day in and day out, one thing I would highly suggest though would be empa by ttwining

Addicted to opiates pills for years which led to heroin/fentanyl addiction for 8 years. Finally took the step to become a patient here for methadone almost 2 years ago now and haven't had a craving or relapse since then. Everyones path is different and treatment options vary as to what works for other people but this has definitely saved my life changes for the better in more than just one way. As someone who went through Hope Valley and now has over 5 years of sobriety, I highly recommend if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired. The program gave me a place to find my bearings and establish a solid after care program. The staff care about you and the counselors actually take the time to teach you new ways of coping without using. If you find yourself looking into a 30 day program for yourself or a loved one God bless you and have hope. Because we do recover. If you really want a life change Hope Valley is definitely a good place to start.

I went to hope valley in 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is very experienced and extremely compassionate. I was heartbroken when I finished my stay there. This program works if you work it. The staff, from the doctor all the way down to the receptionists, are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. This is the only clinic I've been to that met me where I was at in my recovery and didn't make me feel less than. Then to top it off they used a grant to help me get my car legal, so that I could make my appointments and continue in my recovery. I have nothing but respect for the staff at the Wytheville office. I've been coming to this office for a little over a yr now and can truly say they have been a major part of my positive recovery. The ladies at front desk are the best. They have gone out of there way to address any and all issues I throw at them, thank yall for that. I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've always gotten good care, concern, and prompt responses from this clinic. It isn't a major center, like Salem, so if you know that before coming, you'll understand that they are not going to have every service and specialty represented here. Wytheville is lucky to have this clinic. It saves a lot of veterans many miles from not having to drive to Salem for routine and primary care visits.
