I’ve met some people who are in this program and I myself am in recovery and after reviewing the program and the location in comparison to others it looks like a blessing to the person wanting to recover , I do believe in their professionalism and the people I have met are a testimony to that.

This was my first experience. I got there on Thurs (good security). I was checked my nurse, talked to a counselor, & the doctor can't see me until next Mon (it's a long time). Doctor wasn't there on Monday? Apparently, doctors are there Tuesday and Wednesday only. Otherwise, I'd have to wait another week (another stretch). It's clean. No one else there at the time.

First I want to say I went up there of my own free will, I had no court dates no probation nothing, and honestly if it wasn’t for my counselor Christine I would not have given this review!! She was the only in there that was actually understanding and would do anything to help you stay clean!! The director Les only cared about the rules no matter how out dated or ridiculous they were!! If it wasn’t for Christine helping me out and changing her schedule those rules would’ve cost me my job which Les seemed to not care about!! The other staff was very nice but you could tell they were tired of those out dated rules as well!!

I love their ENTIRE staff, I was alittle nervous at first because I was not sure if my insurance was going to cover it or if I was going to be able to get state funded. They went above and beyond to make the Sublocade shot happen for me and I’m on my 2nd month sober. Look at GOD! Thank you staff at ADS.

Spero Health is hands down the best addiction treatment center. I’ve been to over 5 different places to be able to get subs, and I’m blown away at the quality of service Spero provides!! I drove 1.5 hours to get here and it’s worth it. The office is quiet, clean, smells good, and plays good music. The staff are so incredibly attentive and kind. They make me feel like I’m an active participant in my treatment, like I’m the one making the decision on what I want to do. Every dollar I spent and every mile I drove to get here was worth it!

This positive review is long overdue. The skill building run by along with its partnership with the therapists and the good working relationships amongst them and the autistic services provided for children I appreciated at the time and their was a sense of warmth 😊 and gratitude but not until I left the area did I fully realize how special the treatment was and how great it is that you use state and federal funding for the betterment of society. How grateful I am that I was fortunate enough to be wrapped up with so many gifted people in the right line of work for the right reasons while my children were young. How little at the time did I realize how much my happiness was due to the support provided by places like yours. To those of you that are Christians... keep fighting the good fight and keep using your many wonderful talents to bring a sparkle to the eye of the vulnerable

Dr Reedy and Dr Ali are the best! They stay with you during a crisis (over the phone ) If need. I recommend family insight for children and adults. I feel you won't find a better place.

For anyone suffering from a dwi offense and required to get an assessment t to get their license back I highly recommend Life Changes with classes in various locations from Danville VA to Reidsville NC to Roxboro NC to Burlington NC and beyond. Jack Bowers is an incredible counselor and will help you every step of the way through the process of getting you either to court with helpful documentation or after conviction with getting your license reinstated. Very helpful friendly group sessions and down to Earth counseling. Definitely the way to go if you find yourself in these unfortunate circumstances.

The staff at NRVCS(BLACKSBURG) are absolutely amazing and so is the Genoa pharmacy. If it wasn't for them my husband would be without his meds. I just want thank each and every one that works there for their understanding and courtesy. You guys rock!!

Very caring and great resources .

New River Valley Community Services have made my life so much better. I've been with them since 2008. I was a genuine basket case when I came here. Now I repair watches and clocks. And, I have found reason within my vise's. My temper used to control me. I can honestly say, this organization, and it's agents, have taught me that you can be happy. Even, when mental illness is prominent. I asked two or three counselors to marry me. But. They got depressed, and called the cops. Same thing my ex-wife did. Oh well. Life ain't no burger king. Just keep trying. Keep learning. And don't propose to social workers. They will call the cops. I know!!

I must say that the intake receptionist 💚💚 PEARCE 💚💚has done an outstanding job, taking my information in a comforting, caring, professional manner as always . Amazingly providing me with the assistance I need ; Let me explain I had to call and search around for a OB to get appointments for me being pregnant. Pearce took me by surprise when she suggested that she would help me with 1 or 2 calls (realizing I did not have a phone). When she seen that those calls did not come through, she continued on her search for me a OB SURE ENOUGH * PEARCE FOUND ME ONE * located near me . She has always been very determined to help when I and others come into the office. Thank you so much Miss Pearce for always being so patient with the intake process with the clients of this facility. God bless you .
