Spero Health is hands down the best addiction treatment center. I’ve been to over 5 different places to be able to get subs, and I’m blown away at the quality of service Spero provides!! I drove 1.5 hours to get here and it’s worth it. The office is quiet, clean, smells good, and plays good music. The staff are so incredibly attentive and kind. This positive review is long overdue. The skill building run by along with its partnership with the therapists and the good working relationships amongst them and the autistic services provided for children I appreciated at the time and their was a sense of warmth 😊 and gratitude but not until I left the area did I fully realize how special the treatment was and how great it is that you use state and federal funding for the betterment of society. How grateful I am that I was fortunate enough to be wrapped up with so many gifted people in the right line of work for the right reasons while my children were young. How little at the time did I realize how much my happiness was due to the support provided by places like yours. I'd have to say that the Staff that greet you out front are very courteous and helpful and the Medical Staff that are who and what you go there for, are the best Counselor's. The N. P Cindy is a true clinician, who I think is at the top of her Field is very professional seeking what's best for the individual wanting help. I highly recommend Piedmont Community Services to anyone who may at this juncture in their life who needs help to break the hold that illicit drugs has on you. Please believe me that you will be so glad that you decided to if not go there at least call they're counselors these people are very skilled and knowledgeable about the very things that are troubling you.

Amazing service and kind understanding therapists. I've been using horizon for close to 2 years now and have received tremendous care. Scott Bradley, whom I see, never pushes me to follow by the book therapy and allows me to choose my own path. A fantastic listener and patient therapist, he has seen me at my worst and best. I ALWAYS feel encouraged, safe, and cared for when I'm there. I have come a long way thanks to him. Dr Gilmore is amazing. So helpful, understanding, and compassionate. Also very thorough. Can't say as much for everyone else. Some people are just RUDE and you can definitely tell they DO NOT enjoy working there. But as far as counselors, doctor's, and nurses, they are all amazing.

If you’re like me, going to a psych ward is one of the last things you want to do. But if you have to, I’m not sure there’s a better place. The staff surpassed the most optimistic expectations. They were incredibly sincere and kind to all the patients, even the ones who acted out and insulted them. Yes, mental illness sucks, and treatment leaves a lot to be desired. All things considered, it’s incredibly lucky to have a genuine and supportive team right here in Christiansburg of all places.

I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

This is where my journey began and today I am in 72 hour Peer Support Specialist Training classes. I also reached out to Congress to assist with barriers for individuals like me to have a place to share my life experience for specific barriers that I am determined to overcome. I put a 4 just get you to read scale. Everything going great during intake webcam with Dr. Jessica Jeffrey . 5/8's into the prescription mesh she starts dropping ewaste cartridges. I mean like a test that determines if I have titty fat when we ask what it is right after --> I have a 5 and 0 runoff. So we are apexing somewhere else. Also out of the 6 meds that we got refilled the 7th was also not check for refill, just like the crisis center next door. What's good for the gang ... is good for the gang. try ABT counselling telehealth instead. Im here to try all the flavors.

I have been going to the madeline center for over 6 years. The madeline center has absolutely saved my life. It has a very special place in my heart. It hurts my heart to read some comments about some of the peoples experience. I am turely sorry to hear that anyone has had to go through situations they have went through at the madeline. The madeline is a very amazing and special place for anyone who is looking for a positive change in their lives. You will have one on one sessions with therapist along with an amazing group sessions you will partake in to share your story with others who are as well struggling with similar issues in their lives. Yes there has been some staff changes over the years and some very special therapist and doctor have choosen to part ways with the madeline center over the year. And yes it has changed not only my own Experiences over the years, but many others as well. I will never give up on the madeline center and i will do anything in my power to help the madeline in any way possible so they can continue to help others as they have helped me and saved my life. I would be dead right now 100%, if it were not for the madeline center. They are helping me continue on my 6 year strong Sobriety of walking, breathing and living on this earth with my childern and family i am blessed to have. Thank you madeline center. My son has tried inpatient rehab in the past and it didn't work. Madeline Centre has reached him in a way that others haven't. They met him "where he was" and gradually have shown him a way to sober living. Fear of failure can be a trigger and I think he knows that they will be there if he falls without any judgement. He likes the warm and family-like atmosphere that they offer.
