Arrowwood has been a great experience. The people here make all the difference. Jamie is EXCELLENT at what he does as an alumni coordinator. He does amazing peer support work. Keegan, Jess, Ms. T, and Ajai are phenomenal group facilitators. Uschell, Joel, Suge, Quan, Claud, Crystal, and Tracy are amazing BHT's. Everyone is so supportive. The facility is great, very clean, and lots of things to do here. I would recommend to a friend.

New River Valley Community Services have made my life so much better. I've been with them since 2008. I was a genuine basket case when I came here. Now I repair watches and clocks. And, I have found reason within my vise's. My temper used to control me. I can honestly say, this organization, and it's agents, have taught me that you can be happy. Even, when mental illness is prominent. I asked two or three counselors to marry me. But. They got depressed, and called the cops. Same thing my ex-wife did. Oh well. Life ain't no burger king. Just keep trying. Keep learning. And don't propose to social workers. They will call the cops. I know!!

My Regis was wonderful for me, it took me 3 times but each time I was welcomed back with no issues and worked even harder with the staff on my issues. It's Ben over a year and I am sober today. I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

I had a great experience with New Choices. I'm in the process of getting my driver's license restored after some years of suspension, and substance / alcohol abuse counseling was one of the requirements. I decided to join the group sessions that David holds several times per week and was thoroughly impressed with his level of investment and dedication to his clients. For people in crisis, here is an individual with many years of experience helping people clean up the wreckage they've created in their lives and figure out how to stabilize the crisis and make the changes necessary to get started on a path of recovery. When I transitioned to the second floor, there was a window in the room and we were able to go to the gym for group. I would hope that on the weekends, the third floor gets to visit the gym, I did not during my stay in 2023. The staff on the third floor, for the exact people, I need in my life to get help at that time. Essentially angels to me.

All the people who work in this center are wonderful, from the staff of the reception to the nurses who are always willing to help you when you need it. I ve used NRVCS for about 2 years and I can honestly say they are the only facility that has ever truly cared about my mental well being. I ve been seeing my doctor for quite a while and I have made a huge improvement since being in her care. With my diagnosis, most doctors give up after a while or never even really try other than prescribe a cocktail of meds. My doctor at NRVCS takes time to listen and cares enough to make the right medical decisions for my mental and physical well being. NRVCS in my opinion is the best place I ve gone to. I also highly recommend their crisis center. An amazing resource that helps a lot if you re in desperate need. These people truly care IF you treat them with respect :)).

Chrissy is the absolute best Tech I’ve ever had while at the life center of Galax she goes above & beyond to help anyone in anyway she can! Also wanna mention Dan & Jessica they’re the nicest and most helpful people at the center!! I’ve learned a lot and truly believe that me coming to this rehab has changed my life for the better!

Intake employees were very nice and respectful and attentive to my needs as a patient, day to day staff seems to try for the most part to help patients but don't really b understand what we day in and day out, one thing I would highly suggest though would be empa by ttwining
EDIT: This review was basically forcibly written as a response to the center "allowing me" to file my taxes while I was there, yes you read that right, in order for them to allow me to file my taxes they basically strong armed me into writing a positive review for them because of how terribly they are doing and how badly people hate the place nowadays

Addicted to opiates pills for years which led to heroin/fentanyl addiction for 8 years. Finally took the step to become a patient here for methadone almost 2 years ago now and haven't had a craving or relapse since then. Everyones path is different and treatment options vary as to what works for other people but this has definitely saved my life changes for the better in more than just one way. Nurses, staff and counselors are very genuine and caring, respectful and professional.

I have nothing but respect for the staff at the Wytheville office. I've been coming to this office for a little over a yr now and can truly say they have been a major part of my positive recovery. The ladies at front desk are the best. They have gone out of there way to address any and all issues I throw at them, thank yall for that. Like the other post said, it's not your standard cash and grab rehab station. And I've had my experience with a few of them. I really look forward to going to the office. There is so much more I could say about this team, but that's between us. Go on and make the step to reclaim your life, and you will then know what I mean.

I just want to say that for the past 10 years I have been a patient with Revida not just here in Virginia. Also, I was a patient in Tennessee. We have here in Virginia the most respectful, loving, caring employees Rebecca, Miss Teresa their like two mother Hens . They worry about me as a patient if I miss an appointment , They call and check on me. They always ask you if I need anything . They got complementary coffee for the patients. They take care for their patients. There the most loving and caring generous people I have ever met. They are like the song by Jelly Roll save me when he sangs somebody save me WELL I HAVE BEEN TRULY SAVED FIRST BY GOD AND THEN BY REVIDA. I want to thank you guys for being my doctors, my counselors, my receptionist and our doctor Mrs. Pam Wells she is an AMAZING PERSON AND AN AMAZING LOVING DOCTOR.
