Arrowwood has been a great experience. The people here make all the difference. Jamie is EXCELLENT at what he does as an alumni coordinator. He does amazing peer support work. Keegan, Jess, Ms. T, and Ajai are phenomenal group facilitators. Uschell, Joel, Suge, Quan, Claud, Crystal, and Tracy are amazing BHT's. Everyone is so supportive. The facility is great, very clean, and lots of things to do here. I would recommend to a friend.

This place has very wonderful helpful people that are very professional. They helped me get get my vision fixed, plus since I am currently disabled they are helping me with trying to recieve my SSI benefits. I have nothing but respect for the staff at the Wytheville office. I've been coming to this office for a little over a yr now and can truly say they have been a major part of my positive recovery. The ladies at front desk are the best. They have gone out of there way to address any and all issues I throw at them, thank yall for that. Like the other post said, it's not your standard cash and grab rehab station. And I've had my experience with a few of them. I really look forward to going to the office. I just want to say that for the past 10 years I have been a patient with Revida not just here in Virginia. Also, I was a patient in Tennessee. We have here in Virginia the most respectful, loving, caring employees Rebecca, Miss Teresa their like two mother Hens . They worry about me as a patient if I miss an appointment , They call and check on me. They always ask you if I need anything . They got complementary coffee for the patients. They take care for their patients. There the most loving and caring generous people I have ever met. They are like the song by Jelly Roll save me when he sangs somebody save me WELL I HAVE BEEN TRULY SAVED FIRST BY GOD AND THEN BY REVIDA. I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've always gotten good care, concern, and prompt responses from this clinic. It isn't a major center, like Salem, so if you know that before coming, you'll understand that they are not going to have every service and specialty represented here. Wytheville is lucky to have this clinic. It saves a lot of veterans many miles from not having to drive to Salem for routine and primary care visits.

New River Valley Community Services have made my life so much better. I've been with them since 2008. I was a genuine basket case when I came here. Now I repair watches and clocks. And, I have found reason within my vise's. My temper used to control me. I can honestly say, this organization, and it's agents, have taught me that you can be happy. Even, when mental illness is prominent. I asked two or three counselors to marry me. But. They got depressed, and called the cops. Same thing my ex-wife did. Oh well. Life ain't no burger king. Just keep trying. Keep learning. And don't propose to social workers. They will call the cops. I know!!

I ve used NRVCS for about 2 years and I can honestly say they are the only facility that has ever truly cared about my mental well being. I ve been seeing my doctor for quite a while and I have made a huge improvement since being in her care. With my diagnosis, most doctors give up after a while or never even really try other than prescribe a cocktail of meds. My doctor at NRVCS takes time to listen and cares enough to make the right medical decisions for my mental and physical well being. NRVCS in my opinion is the best place I ve gone to. I also highly recommend their crisis center. An amazing resource that helps a lot if you re in desperate need. These people truly care IF you treat them with respect :)).

Addicted to opiates pills for years which led to heroin/fentanyl addiction for 8 years. Finally took the step to become a patient here for methadone almost 2 years ago now and haven't had a craving or relapse since then. Everyones path is different and treatment options vary as to what works for other people but this has definitely saved my life changes for the better in more than just one way. Nurses, staff and counselors are very genuine and caring, respectful and professional.

This place is amazing. The staff here want to help you, it's inexpensive, and the curriculum itself is fantastic. If you want to go somewhere and get something substantial from your stay, this is the place to go.

As someone who went through Hope Valley and now has over 5 years of sobriety, I highly recommend if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired. The program gave me a place to find my bearings and establish a solid after care program. The staff care about you and the counselors actually take the time to teach you new ways of coping without using. If you find yourself looking into a 30 day program for yourself or a loved one God bless you and have hope. Because we do recover. If you really want a life change Hope Valley is definitely a good place to start.

I'd have to say that the Staff that greet you out front are very courteous and helpful and the Medical Staff that are who and what you go there for, are the best Counselor's. The N. P Cindy is a true clinician, who I think is at the top of her Field is very professional seeking what's best for the individual wanting help. I highly recommend Piedmont Community Services to anyone who may at this juncture in their life who needs help to break the hold that illicit drugs has on you. Please believe me that you will be so glad that you decided to if not go there at least call they're counselors these people are very skilled and knowledgeable about the very things that are troubling you.

I had a great experience with New Choices. I'm in the process of getting my driver's license restored after some years of suspension, and substance / alcohol abuse counseling was one of the requirements. I decided to join the group sessions that David holds several times per week and was thoroughly impressed with his level of investment and dedication to his clients. For people in crisis, here is an individual with many years of experience helping people clean up the wreckage they've created in their lives and figure out how to stabilize the crisis and make the changes necessary to get started on a path of recovery. Spero Health is hands down the best addiction treatment center. I ve been to over 5 different places to be able to get subs, and I m blown away at the quality of service Spero provides!! I drove 1.5 hours to get here and it s worth it. The office is quiet, clean, smells good, and plays good music. The staff are so incredibly attentive and kind. They make me feel like I m an active participant in my treatment, like I m the one making the decision on what I want to do. Every dollar I spent and every mile I drove to get here was worth it!
