I have attended this clinic since it first opened. Throughout the years, it has taught me about "coming clean" with myself & exactly the purpose and perks of MAT. It has honestly saved my life time after time! About a year ago, I was assigned a new counselor, Ms Marilyn Green, and she has been BEYOND GREAT! I've never had a counselor who cares and supports me any more than she does! She is honest, up-front, and just shows that she CARES about me. Shout-out to whomever hired her!

All the people who work in this center are wonderful, from the staff of the reception to the nurses who are always willing to help you when you need it. I have nothing but respect for the staff at the Wytheville office. I've been coming to this office for a little over a yr now and can truly say they have been a major part of my positive recovery. The ladies at front desk are the best. They have gone out of there way to address any and all issues I throw at them, thank yall for that. Like the other post said, it's not your standard cash and grab rehab station. And I've had my experience with a few of them. I really look forward to going to the office. There is so much more I could say about this team, but that's between us. Go on and make the step to reclaim your life, and you will then know what I mean.

If you’re like me, going to a psych ward is one of the last things you want to do. But if you have to, I’m not sure there’s a better place. The staff surpassed the most optimistic expectations. They were incredibly sincere and kind to all the patients, even the ones who acted out and insulted them. Yes, mental illness sucks, and treatment leaves a lot to be desired. All things considered, it’s incredibly lucky to have a genuine and supportive team right here in Christiansburg of all places.

I see a lot of negative comments here. I actually REALLY liked this place. Best care I have gotten for detox. (I've been to several) The nurses and Dr. made sure I was comfortable, gave me meds to help with withdrawal and anxiety. During the day there are tons of activities (rec. room, music therapy, acupuncture, outside time, talk therapy, group time ect.) All staff was extremely nice to me! You have access to the phone pretty much all day into the night. They explained my care plan and the meds they switched/added and the reasons why. I have been free from drugs and alcohol since the day I entered st. A. It's been the very first time I have been sober for this long since I was 11yrs old. It was absolutely life changing for me in a really great way. I would highly recommend! 5 starts for being so great!!

We at Mack & Third Foundation recommend that any person that's in the New River Valley with challenges of substance abuse visit 401 Peer Main Street Radford Va, there are many resources there to help guide you in your freedom of substance abuse, 💘💯 Thank you Jared, and Beans the team sure guided me to recovery and I love 19 months of freedom from a 39 year vicious cycle of substance abuse. This is where my journey began and today I am in 72 hour Peer Support Specialist Training classes. I also reached out to Congress to assist with barriers for individuals like me to have a place to share my life experience for specific barriers that I am determined to overcome. There is Hope in Recovery for all substances and that includes gambling.

I put a 4 just get you to read scale. Everything going great during intake webcam with Dr. Jessica Jeffrey . 5/8's into the prescription mesh she starts dropping ewaste cartridges. I mean like a test that determines if I have titty fat when we ask what it is right after --> I have a 5 and 0 runoff. So we are apexing somewhere else. Also out of the 6 meds that we got refilled the 7th was also not check for refill, just like the crisis center next door. What's good for the gang ... is good for the gang. try ABT counselling telehealth instead. Im here to try all the flavors.

So I arrived at Mt.Regis like most others do,tired and confused,angry and feeling guilty, shameful and unworthy. I was seriously damaged inside, and out. All I knew for sure is that I wanted and needed to be, and do better with and for myself and my life. I suffer from PTSD, and I have been through some horrible ordeals in my lifetime. While I was in treatment I was treated with so much respect, and understanding that it almost felt surreal to me, especially because of the life I had been living, and the treatment I was being given by all those fake friends, and even some of my family members over the years. The staff at Mt.Regis made me feel welcome,and appreciated. They taught me how to find and collect myself. They gave me all the tools I needed to make a full recovery,and also how to use them. I applied those tools which were coping skills, trigger recognition, accountability, honesty,self recognition,goal setting, boundary setting, changes to my environment and appreciation for my peers who were facing and dealing with the same challenges as myself. By doing so, I found my true self, one known as a nurturer. I was assisted with every aspect of my recovery and treated like a person worthy of a second chance and the respect and understanding that can only be given by true friends, "Family". I say family because that's exactly what I gained during my treatment. I have formed true friendships and bonds that will stand the test of time, and a family that has been supportive of me from day one. I owe My.Regis all the respect and appreciation in the world. They truly saved my life, and I will never be able to repay them for that. I'm now in a step down program,and upon completion of it,and after a few more months of clean and sober living, I hope to return to Mt.Regis as a Recovery Coach.I see that as my way of paying this gift of life forward. I want more than most other things to be able to be for someone else exactly what Mt.Regis was to me,a Lifesaver. If your looking for place to begin a healthy way of life, and pull out of the darkness of addiction, as I was, Mt.Regis is a great place to start a new chapter. Like anything in life you get out what you put into it, The staff is very knowledgeable, caring and empathetic as many were trapped in the cycle of addiction themselves, and truly can relate to what your going through. I have enjoyed my time in galax at the life center because I have learned about myself during this process and I am starting to feel better each day. The life center has helped me to focus on the person that I know I can be when I return home. The staff have helped me so much with my recovery and I am thankful. Please read the whole review, I know it’s long, but there’s important stuff that really might help you out if you’re thinking about becoming a patient. Always keep in mind however, that you get out of it what you put into it. The counselors there are wonderful, especially Amber. She has advocated for me, she helped me get Medicaid so my medicine is free now which is amazing. She always tells me how proud she is of me and reminds me how much progress I’ve made when I’m starting to feel like I’m screwing up, sometimes you just need to hear that. I know that I can always depend on her. My first counselor was Dan he was wonderful, but I just thought that I would benefit more from having a female counselor. I also know that Ray is wonderful, but any of the counselors would be more than happy to help you if you can’t find yours. The only problems I have with this place are how difficult it is to get them on the phone sometimes, also one of the nurses is kind of rude, I understand that it is a difficult job however. The rest of the nurses are very kind especially April! Also Treva The nursing coordinator is an absolute nightmare. She was rude to me from the second I walked into that building. She for some reason has a personal issue with me and makes it known. That is so unprofessional you’re supposed to keep your opinions outside the door. That kind of stuff will send people back out and then they die. Other than that it’s great! The front desk lady is wonderful, the Director is absolutely wonderful, I enjoy the group Therapy, and if you’re doing the right thing and passing your drug test, you will phase up very quickly there. I’m already to two weeks, whereas at another clinic it probably would’ve taken me A year or even longer to get to that point. There was a time that I never thought I would even get a single take home and I’m already to two weeks! So thank you new river comprehensive treatment center. If it weren’t for you I would probably be dead, not only that but my mental health has improved drastically since I started there. One more person I would like to mention is Diana who does the Medicaid and financial stuff (I think)she is also extremely helpful and kind if you ever need help with anything.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Vasedeva, and he was very attentive to her needs, up-to-date on all the statistical information about the medications he was going to be prescribing. He listened to her issues, which was a breath of fresh air opposed to some other clinics in the area we have been to for medication management. All 3 ladies at the front were kind and accommodating, we were running behind due to traffic and road construction so they started filling out the paperwork to help us out. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and at ease, so much so that my other daughter requested to also be seen here. Keep up the hard work y'all, it does not go unnoticed---You guys are AWESOME!

I'd have to say that the Staff that greet you out front are very courteous and helpful and the Medical Staff that are who and what you go there for, are the best Counselor's. The N. P Cindy is a true clinician, who I think is at the top of her Field is very professional seeking what's best for the individual wanting help. I highly recommend Piedmont Community Services to anyone who may at this juncture in their life who needs help to break the hold that illicit drugs has on you. Please believe me that you will be so glad that you decided to if not go there at least call they're counselors these people are very skilled and knowledgeable about the very things that are troubling you.

I have been seeing David Geho for about 3 1/2 years, and I can honestly say he has helped me tremendously. Through some very difficult times, he has always been professional, understanding, and genuinely caring. Spero Health is hands down the best addiction treatment center. I’ve been to over 5 different places to be able to get subs, and I’m blown away at the quality of service Spero provides!! I drove 1.5 hours to get here and it’s worth it. The office is quiet, clean, smells good, and plays good music. The staff are so incredibly attentive and kind.
