It's an okay place though my mom had a bad experience (she requested a female therapist and was given a male one; overall didn't have a good experience and switched her place). I've had an okay one though. the waitlist is HELL though. took a year for autism and ADHD testing and the Dr didn't even do ADHD testing. and I need more testing but insurance + waitlist isn't great right now.
But my therapist is nice though, so no complaints there

My son has tried inpatient rehab in the past and it didn't work. Madeline Centre has reached him in a way that others haven't. They met him "where he was" and gradually have shown him a way to sober living. Fear of failure can be a trigger and I think he knows that they will be there if he falls without any judgement. He likes the warm and family-like atmosphere that they offer.

Anderson Counseling is amazing, the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond for you. 3 months ago for the first time ever I decided to reach out to a counselor to help with some personal issues in my life. Dr.Anderson has been so great to work with and has helped me tremendously with working through issues and on myself. The staff at Anderson counciling have done more for me than I can ever express. from the office staff to councilors, and especially the mental health skill builder I work with. Everyone you come in contact with wants to make sure you come out of there feeling better than you did before and 9/10 you do. they really put emphasis on the client. they don't baby you but they treat you with kindness and most of all like your a person not just another number in the system. you are definitely family at Anderson and a place to grow and heal. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews but I cannot say enough good things about this facility.
I was hesitant to have testing done here due to the negative reviews on Google but I really had no other choice thanks to my limited insurance options.
From my first visit I was treated so kindly and professionally by the front desk staff. I’ve had multiple visits since and everyone has been equally wonderful.
My reason for care was to have testing performed. The testing did not provide me with any conclusive results and I opted to proceed with a brain map test (my choice not forced or coerced by facility). The test was administered by a grad student who was nothing less than sweet and caring and was informative through the process.
After my test I set an appointment to specifically see Dr. Barclay to go over my results. Dr. Barclay was very professional and took his time going over my results (finally got the answers I needed) and addressed all my concerns.
Please don’t let bad Google reviews deter you from giving this place a try. Everyone is unique and has their own experiences; In my case I’m happy I trusted them with my care and will definitely continue to use them for any of my future needs.

My experience was amazing! My two hour drive was worth it! The ladies at the front desk always made my visit beyond amazing, they greeted us with a smile, answered every nervous question this mama had to ask. And if they didn't know the answer they made sure to go find that answer! They made me feel like every question I had was very important. The employees in the back took time to speak with me and explian the process for my child. And how things work. The second visit I was so confused and they sat down and explained how it worked and that took so much stress and confusion off my shoulders! Now we are just waiting on the results! Would recommend 10/10 do not read the reviews and not go! Go get your own opinion!

There were a lot of choices when I decided to find a rehab facility. I'm glad that I chose this one. They accepted my insurance, put me thru the paces, gave me a new perspective, and ultimately got me sober. I wouldn't be alive now if i hadn't gone here. Amazing service and kind understanding therapists. I've been using horizon for close to 2 years now and have received tremendous care. Scott Bradley, whom I see, never pushes me to follow by the book therapy and allows me to choose my own path. A fantastic listener and patient therapist, he has seen me at my worst and best. I ALWAYS feel encouraged, safe, and cared for when I'm there. I have come a long way thanks to him. Dr Gilmore is amazing. So helpful, understanding, and compassionate. Also very thorough. Can't say as much for everyone else. Some people are just RUDE and you can definitely tell they DO NOT enjoy working there. But as far as counselors, doctor's, and nurses, they are all amazing.

I’ve been to both inpatient and outpatient groups and many a therapist. I am so happy here I could scream it from the mountaintops! They’ve done a huge turnaround and have some new policies and Darlene Hilton is a doll. No therapist has ever taken me under their wing like she has. She’s my one on one but I appreciate all of the therapists there and the work they do for IOP. Shoutout to Campbell! And the rest. It has been a great experience that has helped me grown tremendously and I can’t wait to see what the future holds there for me! They have it all! I was voluntary and quickly DTO’d due to not being able to articulate I was uncomfortable with the room I was in.
Due to COVID no visitors were allowed, however, hopefully if not ideal patients can at least FaceTime/messenger family
The one time the third floor went outside I don’t recalling grass, I believe it was all pebbles. When I transitioned to the second floor, there was a window in the room and we were able to go to the gym for group. I would hope that on the weekends, the third floor gets to visit the gym, I did not during my stay in 2023. The staff on the third floor, for the exact people, I need in my life to get help at that time. Essentially angels to me.

One of the worst practices out there. Very difficult to get a hold of your doctor or anyone. They don't file your insurance and then send you a crazy bill you owe such a large amount when they never even filed my insurance card to begin with. This office and the durham office where I had spravato Treatment is the worst. They knew for months they were being bought out and needed to file paperwork and never did. They never informed spravato patients of this, therefore they cut off treatment abruptly with no warning and no help for the patients to find other centers for help. By far the most inconsiderate and negligent malpractice I've ever seen. Would not recommend any of there offices. You can't connect with anyone when you need help. There is a reason they were sued a few years ago and had to pay back thousands of dollars for malpractice. Don't go to any of these places.

Currently looking for a new therapist. The one they connected me with was more interested in controlling her child than paying attention to me and what I was saying. You could hear her baby In the background and we had to keep stopping so she could catch him. It was pretty unprofessional and didn't make me feel heard. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was scared initially as I had read the reviews. Everyone was kind and genuine. We saw Jeremy Jones (intake) and Case Manager, Denise Patterson. These two individuals are some of the kindest, most compassionate human beings that I have EVER met in my life. I truly felt that we were in the presence of angels. I moved into the Avalon house about 8 months ago. It has really become a home to me. There is a lot of women in one home but we all manage to get along rather well. The Avalon house has been a safe , supportive, clean environment. We operate similar to the Oxford model in that we hold one another accountable. Anastasia is a hands on housing manager but she gives you the room you need to be an adult and make the decisions for your recovery that you feel are right. If you follow the rules, and prove to her that you’re trustworthy then she affords you that trust and she is understanding. I truly believe that Avalon is one of the main reasons that I’ve been successful in my recovery thus far.
It’s imperative in early recovery to surround one’s self with like minded people and Avalon is absolutely a home that you will find the resources you need to grow and thrive into the person you want to be. I absolutely suggest this home to anyone that is willing to put in the work to live a sober life. It’s all about what we put into it that determines what we get out of it.

Been living at one of Anastasia's houses for over a year, I came to this place via a treatment center and have stayed since. The structure and supportive environment of the house, its owners and its other tenants have helped me to achieve the longest amount of sober time I've had since I first picked up a bottle.

Avalon is simply the best. The owner, Anastasia, is so genuinely invested in the success of every member in her program. She holds people accountable while also offering grace. She stands her ground on what she believes but also takes the time to truly listen. She's involved, caring, and earnestly invested in the path of recovery for every person she meets.
You won't leave this program without being impacted by what she and avalon has to offer. It develops structure, elevates discipline, and guides people from a state of "is this possible?" to a reality of unfathomable possibilities and complete change.

My stay in Parham Hospital was enjoyable .
I had an LTHR surgery, so one wouldn’t describe being in the hospital as enjoyable, but everyone treated me wonderful. My nurses Tiffany, Justin and Whitney were attentive to me and they took the best care of me. They made my stay pleasant.
