Arrowwood has been a great experience. The people here make all the difference. Jamie is EXCELLENT at what he does as an alumni coordinator. He does amazing peer support work. Keegan, Jess, Ms. T, and Ajai are phenomenal group facilitators. Uschell, Joel, Suge, Quan, Claud, Crystal, and Tracy are amazing BHT's. Everyone is so supportive. *updateed*we relocated back to Colorado and the standard of availabke clinics and treatment is so low its devestating. I hope anyone searching for helps reads this review and knows this treatment center is awesome. The facility may not be 5 star but you will get help and compassion and No judgement.It saddens me to see the bad reviews of this facility. My husband just started treatment there and we both were impressed. We utilized the online contact chat then were contaced by the 1800# to get his first appointment scheduled and had no issues. I'm not sure how it is to reach them directly but seeing the amount of people in there while their open I can see they are busy from the moment the doors open. The staff was kind, compassionate and light-years ahead of the care you would have received in our previous home state of Colorado. I think what they offer is saving lives and can't be an easy job. They treated my husband like a real person not just another dollar sign. Granted he's new in his venture to get clean but so far so good. From the front desk, nurses, doctor and counselor he received respect, compassion and felt supported.

Although I came from a very large VA clinic, this location is orderly and adequate for my immediate needs. I want to thank Michael, the physical therapist, who took care of my shoulder. It was initially scary to have my muscles stretched out, however he was very professional and competent. I was amazed at how much progress was made over 3 months. My shoulder is almost at 100%!!! I can now rest on that side and use it to do daily routine tasks. Thankyou for serving our country and for continuing to serve veterans with quality care and for creating a welcoming atmosphere for women veterans.

Dr. Scott is an excellent doctor and person. When you talk to him you quickly learn he is very smart and truly cares about you and your health. This was my first visit at the Lynchburg location to see a doctor there but I wish I had gone to see him much earlier. I would be better off now if I had gone in sooner.

Birthing experience was excellent, entire staff was kind and attentive. I'd give it 5 stars, but the person in charge of taking information for the birth certificate/SS card got details wrong three times. Despite telling them this info, my child's social security card had her middle name misspelled. Now I have to go through an unnecessary and lengthy process to correct her name when it could easily have been avoided.

My son has tried inpatient rehab in the past and it didn't work. Madeline Centre has reached him in a way that others haven't. They met him "where he was" and gradually have shown him a way to sober living. Fear of failure can be a trigger and I think he knows that they will be there if he falls without any judgement. The staff at Anderson counciling have done more for me than I can ever express. from the office staff to councilors, and especially the mental health skill builder I work with. Everyone you come in contact with wants to make sure you come out of there feeling better than you did before and 9/10 you do. they really put emphasis on the client. they don't baby you but they treat you with kindness and most of all like your a person not just another number in the system. you are definitely family at Anderson and a place to grow and heal. 10/10 would recommend.

I don t understand all the negative reviews but I cannot say enough good things about this facility.I was hesitant to have testing done here due to the negative reviews on Google but I really had no other choice thanks to my limited insurance options.From my first visit I was treated so kindly and professionally by the front desk staff. I ve had multiple visits since and everyone has been equally wonderful.My reason for care was to have testing performed. The testing did not provide me with any conclusive results and I opted to proceed with a brain map test (my choice not forced or coerced by facility). The test was administered by a grad student who was nothing less than sweet and caring and was informative through the process.After my test I set an appointment to specifically see Dr. Barclay to go over my results. Dr. Barclay was very professional and took his time going over my results (finally got the answers I needed) and addressed all my concerns.Please don t let bad Google reviews deter you from giving this place a try. Everyone is unique and has their own experiences; In my case I m happy I trusted them with my care and will definitely continue to use them for any of my future needs.

My experience was amazing! My two hour drive was worth it! The ladies at the front desk always made my visit beyond amazing, they greeted us with a smile, answered every nervous question this mama had to ask. And if they didn't know the answer they made sure to go find that answer! They made me feel like every question I had was very important. The employees in the back took time to speak with me and explian the process for my child. And how things work. The second visit I was so confused and they sat down and explained how it worked and that took so much stress and confusion off my shoulders! Now we are just waiting on the results! Would recommend 10/10 do not read the reviews and not go! Go get your own opinion!

The support that our family receives from Advanced Psychotherapeutics is excellent. There were a lot of choices when I decided to find a rehab facility. I'm glad that I chose this one. They accepted my insurance, put me thru the paces, gave me a new perspective, and ultimately got me sober. I wouldn't be alive now if i hadn't gone here. Dr Gilmore is amazing. So helpful, understanding, and compassionate. Also very thorough. Can't say as much for everyone else. Some people are just RUDE and you can definitely tell they DO NOT enjoy working there. But as far as counselors, doctor's, and nurses, they are all amazing.

I'm a veteran from Texasand am in the area visiting family. I forgot some eye drops and went to Salem VAMC. My experience was exceptional. I started out getting added to system. Went to pharmacy and then went to sick call and doctor wrote me a prescription for two eye drops. Then finished back in pharmacy where I left with my 4 eye drop prescriptions. I go to Micheal E. Even though I have no addiction issues:(Father God's Love, Jesus' saving grace,Breathing, eating,sleeping,music, my cat, coffee and cigars), Sarah is very caring and very concise with process and progress of all needs and always listens to medication needs and fills them with my particular needs in mind, keeping me from having to go to the pharmacy too many times.Great practitioners!!Highly recommend!!

I'd have to say that the Staff that greet you out front are very courteous and helpful and the Medical Staff that are who and what you go there for, are the best Counselor's. The N. P Cindy is a true clinician, who I think is at the top of her Field is very professional seeking what's best for the individual wanting help. I highly recommend Piedmont Community Services to anyone who may at this juncture in their life who needs help to break the hold that illicit drugs has on you. Please believe me that you will be so glad that you decided to if not go there at least call they're counselors these people are very skilled and knowledgeable about the very things that are troubling you.

I had a great experience with New Choices. I'm in the process of getting my driver's license restored after some years of suspension, and substance / alcohol abuse counseling was one of the requirements. I decided to join the group sessions that David holds several times per week and was thoroughly impressed with his level of investment and dedication to his clients. For people in crisis, here is an individual with many years of experience helping people clean up the wreckage they've created in their lives and figure out how to stabilize the crisis and make the changes necessary to get started on a path of recovery. Highly recommend.

I have been both in group and private therapy here at August's Health Behavioral Health. They are warm, kind, understanding, and help you to solve problems that are getting in the way of you living a healthy and happy life. They are knowledgeable of other agencies in the community that might be able to also assist you. There are a multitude of licensed therapists if you find you don't mesh with one. Office staff is very welcoming as well.
