I have to admit I hated Augusta health for a long time. I ended up here under some very difficult circumstances. The staff made me believe in the impossible. I’ve been to both inpatient and outpatient groups and many a therapist. I am so happy here I could scream it from the mountaintops! They’ve done a huge turnaround and have some new policies and Darlene Hilton is a doll. No therapist has ever taken me under their wing like she has. She’s my one on one but I appreciate all of the therapists there and the work they do for IOP. Shoutout to Campbell! And the rest. It has been a great experience that has helped me grown tremendously and I can’t wait to see what the future holds there for me! They have it all! They’re program is the best thing that has happened to me in DECADES!

We are not bad people just as cancer is a disease so is addiction! I was never warned by my doctor that the medication he was given me would turn my life upside down and when it did my doctor cut me loose. Coming from a family with addiction problems I then knew I had to get help. This treatment center is great compared to others! They help you with EVERYTHING from your addiction to your transportation needs. Be prepared for friends and family to turn their back on you because it will happen. Narrow minded people think this isn’t getting help it’s replacing on addiction with another. If that’s the case then almost everyone in the world are addicts. If you get the flu and take medication for it same thing, you get poison ivy you get medicine for it same thing. Yes I know it’s not 100% exact but hopefully some of you get my point here! Please stop knocking us down when we are doing everything we can to fix the problem. I promise you if you take treatment seriously and friends and family support you and even get involved in your treatment you will find yourself again. I just want to say how great this center is!!! I came from PA to train for my current job and attended this clinic during that time. This clinic has their duck's in a row and some of the friendliest and most helpful ppl I've ever met in my lifetime. I had a great experience with New Choices. I'm in the process of getting my driver's license restored after some years of suspension, and substance / alcohol abuse counseling was one of the requirements. I decided to join the group sessions that David holds several times per week and was thoroughly impressed with his level of investment and dedication to his clients. For people in crisis, here is an individual with many years of experience helping people clean up the wreckage they've created in their lives and figure out how to stabilize the crisis and make the changes necessary to get started on a path of recovery. Highly recommend.

One of the best clinics I have been to in the area. They have gone through some recent changes and it has made it even better. Probably one of the nicest and most compassionate staffs I have worked with. When they say they will do everything to meet you were you are at they mean it. They all treat you with dignity and respect, and not as a number. I’ve been to other clinics, and I can truly say Applegate is the best. If you are debating starting treatment I highly recommend you check them out!

Went today for the first time and I could not have asked for a better experience! The entire staff was amazing! I was completely comfortable, they took care of literally everything, the process was super smooth and the staff-again, I just can’t say how caring and welcoming they were. They made me feel right at home. 10/10. You won’t regret going here!

I’ve been visiting this practice for years and cannot speak highly enough about their service. The staff is expedient, accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, and kind. Rescheduling is always easy, and they are more than happy to work with you if you’re running a bit late. Through sublocade I have been able to regain confidence, security, and stability in my life, making me feel whole for the first time since childhood. I can’t encourage those in need of and ready for help to contact the Coleman Institute (AppleGate Recovery) enough.

I recently visited Spero and it was a great overall experience. The employees were all very detailed and helpful with the answering of my many questions. The most important to me was the level of kindness they all showed. It is not an easy thing for me to actually seek help with my addiction issues, but they made it comfortable. They send reminder texts about upcoming appointments and are available if I need to communicate with them.

DR GOLDIZEN! She's all you need for psychiatry! She is SO kind, respectful and helpful. She's truly gotten me my life back, I couldn't have done it with out her. REQUEST HER. I don't know anything about the other Drs. but I know she is one of the actual good ones! When it comes to therapy, I'm happy I had an option but Do NOT trust the female therapist they recommend, I believe her name is Amber. She made a mockery of my OCD and OCPD. One example, I have countless repetitions to get out the door to my house. She said "have you ever tried NOT doing that" TO SOMEONE ONE WITH DEBILATATING OCD AND AND OCPD. I was truly blown away with how incompetent she was left feeling insulted and overlooked and embarrassed. She even cut me off, and rushed me out, right at the hour mark, when I was talking about something really serious. Awful. But if you need psychiatry help, definitely request Dr. Goldizen! SOMEONE GIVE THAT LADY A RAISE! <3
