I learned how they cope with their problems and they strove to give me the force needed to endure my most hard moments. This place can help anyone who is struggling with some addiction, but only if allow them to help.

Miss Hillary would be the best therapist for people with trauma. Please go here if you need someone or some help and you’re a child between 5-17!

I don't have any drug or alcohol problems thank the good Lord but I just want to give a big shout for Sarah who actually takes the time to listen to me and my concerns about medicines and stuff. She is the only one that I absolutely trust with my issues. Thank you to the great staff there too,they're the greatest!!!

Even though I have no addiction issues: (Father God's Love, Jesus' saving grace, Breathing, eating,sleeping, music, my cat, coffee and cigars), Sarah is very caring and very concise with process and progress of all needs and always listens to medication needs and fills them with my particular needs in mind, keeping me from having to go to the pharmacy too many times. Great practitioners!! Highly recommend!!

Quick and efficient doctors visit

Over these many years, I have never had a bad experience with the VA Clinic in Lynchburg. I have always been treated with excellent medical care and respect. I am very grateful to everyone on the staff.

Spero Health is hands down the best addiction treatment center. I’ve been to over 5 different places to be able to get subs, and I’m blown away at the quality of service Spero provides!! I drove 1.5 hours to get here and it’s worth it. The office is quiet, clean, smells good, and plays good music. The staff are so incredibly attentive and kind. They make me feel like I’m an active participant in my treatment, like I’m the one making the decision on what I want to do. Every dollar I spent and every mile I drove to get here was worth it!

This place has helped my family so much. My son used to be so unhappy until he went there and they treated him with so much love and he became a new kid!

Very understanding

For many years I had a one star review and long PTSD rant on google. But I've since mostly healed from my trauma and Horizon has really flourished in recent years. It's obvious leadership makes a huge difference to improve a place! They do a lot of good for the community!

The people seem friendly. I love my Dr. She's patient, caring and actually listens to me. I've been going here for yrs and only had a couple of hiccups (scheduling and my ability to get there on time)Otherwise so far everything's been good. Would recommend to others.

It's an okay place though my mom had a bad experience (she requested a female therapist and was given a male one; overall didn't have a good experience and switched her place). I've had an okay one though. the waitlist is HELL though. took a year for autism and ADHD testing and the Dr didn't even do ADHD testing. and I need more testing but insurance + waitlist isn't great right now. But my therapist is nice though, so no complaints there

My son has tried inpatient rehab in the past and it didn't work. Madeline Centre has reached him in a way that others haven't. They met him "where he was" and gradually have shown him a way to sober living. Fear of failure can be a trigger and I think he knows that they will be there if he falls without any judgement. He likes the warm and family-like atmosphere that they offer.

Amazing friendly and real life staff…. Accepts you where you come from but encourages growth and helps you better understand yourself and the WHY behind it all! Wish I’d found them sooner!

I had the privilege of working at Anderson Counseling Services as a Community-based Mental Health Skill Builder, and it was e great learning experience. The staff are very supportive, caring, and also very knowledgeable, showing concern and consideration for both clients and employees.

Anderson Counseling is amazing, the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond for you. 3 months ago for the first time ever I decided to reach out to a counselor to help with some personal issues in my life. Dr.Anderson has been so great to work with and has helped me tremendously with working through issues and on myself. The best decision I made was to reach out and start coming in for counseling services. I will always continue to support his practice.

The staff at Anderson counciling have done more for me than I can ever express. from the office staff to councilors, and especially the mental health skill builder I work with. Everyone you come in contact with wants to make sure you come out of there feeling better than you did before and 9/10 you do. they really put emphasis on the client. they don't baby you but they treat you with kindness and most of all like your a person not just another number in the system. you are definitely family at Anderson and a place to grow and heal. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews but I cannot say enough good things about this facility. I was hesitant to have testing done here due to the negative reviews on Google but I really had no other choice thanks to my limited insurance options. From my first visit I was treated so kindly and professionally by the front desk staff. I’ve had multiple visits since and everyone has been equally wonderful. My reason for care was to have testing performed. The testing did not provide me with any conclusive results and I opted to proceed with a brain map test (my choice not forced or coerced by facility). The test was administered by a grad student who was nothing less than sweet and caring and was informative through the process. After my test I set an appointment to specifically see Dr. Barclay to go over my results. Dr. Barclay was very professional and took his time going over my results (finally got the answers I needed) and addressed all my concerns. Please don’t let bad Google reviews deter you from giving this place a try. Everyone is unique and has their own experiences; In my case I’m happy I trusted them with my care and will definitely continue to use them for any of my future needs.

My experience was amazing! My two hour drive was worth it! The ladies at the front desk always made my visit beyond amazing, they greeted us with a smile, answered every nervous question this mama had to ask. And if they didn't know the answer they made sure to go find that answer! They made me feel like every question I had was very important. The employees in the back took time to speak with me and explian the process for my child. And how things work. The second visit I was so confused and they sat down and explained how it worked and that took so much stress and confusion off my shoulders! Now we are just waiting on the results! Would recommend 10/10 do not read the reviews and not go! Go get your own opinion!

There were a lot of choices when I decided to find a rehab facility. I'm glad that I chose this one. They accepted my insurance, put me thru the paces, gave me a new perspective, and ultimately got me sober. I wouldn't be alive now if i hadn't gone here. I was ready to start a new life and they gave me the skills and time to do just that. I'd recommend this place to anyone, and have been since I completed the program 2 years ago. The staff and program director have my deepest gratitude.

They saved my life in 2021. I went to 5 rehabs in Richmond multiple times and had 13 overdoses since 2012. Multiple hospitalizations for detox and never could get off heroin and fentanyl until may of 2021 with the help of Spero I been clean for over 4 years. Like I said they saved my life and the kindness and support they showed me over the years is unmatched by any other facility or programs I ever participated in and believe me I there were many. I tried for over 30 years to get clean and never made it 90 days until I meet the wonderful team at Spero Health. ❤️💯

Counselors are trained in all matter of psychological situations, and some helpful managers will even go visit patients in their home setting. They have been in your shoes and understand all you are going through.

Went through this program around 2016. Detox was as comfortable as could be. Scenic place, open for family to visit. Beautiful location on the side of a mountain. Programming wasn't overwhelming. Food came from hospital but was surprisingly good. Watched movies afterwards and went into the city for meetings each day Most concerning downfall.. Nursing staff gossiping about clients. Attitude from nursing was to be expected. Tgey would also speak to techs on client situations that was bothersome. We could hear everything that was said. To add to: Random strangers in NA/AA knew how long I was in treatment and pointed her out as the problem

14+ months still going strong, thanks to my 28 days at Pathways last January. Incredible, amazing treatment center; compassionate staff, good food, cozy rooms.. just enough regimented schedule to keep folks on task, and just enough freedom to not feel like you’re locked up in there. Great variety of group sessions. I loved it there. I can’t thank the staff enough. That place absolutely pulled me out of the deep end and gave me a leg up to get started at sobriety, and saved my life.

Pathways is the best treatment center in Virginia. They have a caring staff and Amy, their director, is a good compassionate leader. I think they have a good pace at this place and keep you busy but there’s plenty of breaks too. The huge majority of the staff are good people. They have good food. My only suggestion - let people have nicotine vapes please 🙏
