Talked with them and heard their stories and they touched my heart. Invited them to come to our Church and give their stories and they did. Had some sad beginnings but they all thanked God for what He and the program were doing in their lives. Our congregation gave them over 2000 dollars and we have not regretted it. They state up front that they are a Christian based organization, so if you are not ready to let God take control it is not for you. Our granddaughters mother is a struggling addict, now in jail. I read a review stating that the treatment was ineffective, that was not my experience at all. Going to BSH is the most important decision I've ever made. Everything I lost in my addiction has been restored in just a few short years. I'm so thankful for the dedicated and attentive staff at BSH, who made me feel so welcome and loved from the day I arrived on campus. I tried several 30-day treatment programs in my home state of NC, but they did not work for me. I needed more help. The year long program, as hard as it was to commit to at the time, was just what I needed. A life mired in addiction is a hopeless existence if you're not willing to do anything about it. The outcomes are three as I see it: jail, death, or recovery. The decision is simple as look back on it. BSH can change the trajectory of your life, it did mine! 7 years ago My son has been sober now for 8 years. Brian’s Safehouse changed him from a drug fiend to a tax-paying, loving man with a wonderful family. He learned the skills necessary to overcome his addiction and to maintain his sobriety.
