This review is a little late in the making. This treatment facility, it's programs and it's staff were great. This is the type of treatment center you want when you are truly ready to change. I've seen a lot of ppl just quit and leave because of, well , you name it. If a person isn't truly ready for change then any excuse to leave is good enough no matter what treatment center it is. If you or a loved one or someone you know has a problem with addiction and is ready, I mean truly ready for positive change then I believe Westcare will help you do it.

This place changed my life I'm now clean an sober , I have regained my family , a job , and the knowledge , and tools that I needed to suceed being sober. My counselor Mr Ratliff understands the mindset of an addict . We all have a choice to either get clean or not . And the people that run off or give bad reviews in my opinion dont want to change , if nothing changes then nothing changes . I spent my whole life giving in to drugs the easy way it takes work to stay clean .

Scheduled an appointment for a check up, doctor refused to see me until I got blood work done. THEN the dude at the front desk was openly running his mouth about how I should have called them back at 8am to learn that I needed blood work (apt at 11) and that I’ll be last. When he realized I was sitting right in front of him, he tried throwing on that “customer service” voice… I drove 1 hour to be denied a regular check up because I didn’t get blood work done on a 2 hour notice…. WORST VA clinic around.

Great ER Staff, had 6 stroke in my abdominal cavity, 4 in my brain. My papaw is actually writing this review because i cant move my right hand anymore. So i started going to Spero in Nov 2023 after moving to this state. Out of all the treatment facilities in Coeburn and Norton this is the ONLY office that took my insurance. The Norton Office is amazing. The whole team is very polite and respectful and they listen to you and what's going on. Highly recommend this office if you are looking for an addiction treatment program.

This place is amazing..You don't have to wait long for appointments. They tke walks in everyday at certain times. An they pretty much got any kind of doctor you would need right there.. The best thing is their slide fee. That means they only make you pay base on your income. Very friendly and caring staff.

What a great community resource. Staff (administration and clinical) are attentive, compassionate and really embrace community service models. Case management for when you have children with complex medical histories has proven to be an great foundation for care. I recommend for any parent whose child needs general counseling. Mental Heath is just as important as physical healthcare.

Today, I had the enjoyable experience of meeting Adam & his friend outside the Ravenswood WV Food Fair. I believe in this program & pray more locations will open. Addiction is at epidemic levels. Many need help or a voice that says, "I care about you". I do care about all of you & you can be reassured that God does too. The enemy comes to steal, kill & destroy. The youth are in his cross hairs. You're a target because you're a threat. You need to know how valuable you are. We all should do anything we can to help this organization. In response to the other comments, would you rather your loved one be either dead or homeless on the streets due to addiction? Can't comprehend anyone that is negative or has anything bad to say about a program that's saving lives. You should be grateful. I'm beyond thankful for this program. The UTC is such an amazing facility that I have ever been too. The staff there is amazing, not to mention how they go out of their way to help those who in need. I can honestly say that the UTC has actually saved my life and I am extremely grateful for everyone that has taking the time to help me build the skills needed to help me have whatever a normal life is. I would recommend anyone looking to get treatment in addiction this would be the place I would recommend to anyone.....

It's not a difficult environment / program and they do everything they can to help you the food is great they provide hues clothes and everything you need you will not want for anything while you're there.l
I'm a 55-year-old white guy who has struggled with addiction all my life meth whiskey marijuana and other things when I couldn't get those things and I felt very comfortable there very appreciative and very grateful for the opportunity I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to escape the madness and work on their recovery

I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.
