Amanda Patt is the best! I came to her with two issues that needed physical therapy. She easily divided my scheduled appointments to address both problems. I first arrived for PT after surgery in a wheelchair and large leg brace, then progressed to a walker and finally left using only a cane! She was very knowledgeable about both issues and carefully explained home exercises for me at each visit. We will recommend Amanda to anyone who needs PT; in fact, our son has already received therapy from Amanda.. This review pertains only to the out-patient lab section of MMC. I had a Covid-19 test, for an upcoming medical procedure if you must know, on the morning of Oct. 12, 2021. I was just a little bit anxious because, believe it or not, this was my first real Covid-19 test (I believe being fully vaccinated, masked, and social distancing are responsible for that). A young woman named Anna drew my test sample, and even though it was just barely 8:00 a.m., her effusive, bright personality brought a smile to my face and eased all my anxiety. She is an asset to MMC and hopefully she will be compensated with a commensurate pay raise of at least 15%.

This review pertains to my experience with Dr. John Korger. I have been seeing Dr. Korger long before he joined Aurora Behavioral Health. He is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, kind, attentive and he listens. He has always made sure I was allowed plenty of time during our appointments to ask questions, discuss options and get his feedback and recommendations. What I have always appreciated with Dr. Korger is that our appointments (two to three times/year) are not just a quick medication check, but a true check-in and update - which takes time. However, I give the Aurora corporation about a 3 star review as they seem to approach behavioral health treatment from a strict business model. Mental health issues need time to talk, explore and discuss; not a quick vital check and a shot or medication. Yet, since seeing Dr. Korger at Aurora Behavioral Health in Oshkosh, it appears that Aurora has put unreasonable time limits on therapy appointments and (my assumption), expecting staff to see more patients per day than is reasonable if you are a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist with Behavioral Health. That seemed to be relaxed some during my last appointment with Dr. Korger and I hope that the concerns I have expressed - and I am sure by others, as well - are being listened to.

I went to Casa and was so surprised by how wonderful it was. We really all become a family. I remember 2 girls were pregnant and worried about their babies. A girl named Haley was one of them pregnant girls and today she's been sober for almost 2 yrs. She had her beautiful son and is doing amazing. Has her own apartment and just doing such great things in her and her son's life. I know Casa Clare and friendships she had helped her so much. Casa Clare took me in the same week I called for help, after not showing up for 2 prior intake appointments. I was 38 weeks pregnant, I was deep in addiction, homeless, and lost. This program not only got me sober and offered support, they are the reason I was able to keep custody of my baby and continue to thrive almost 2 years later. They helped make postings on local support groups to help me gather needed baby supplies, let me bring my newborn to group sessions, and still to this day offer updated letters of completion and support. The counselors are able to connect with residents, as they have fought their own personal demons which makes sobriety feel so much more attainable. Thanks Casa Clare, I wouldn't be an independent, sober mama that's about to graduate college if it weren't for your support and guidance lifting me up from rock bottom. You guys truly helped to save mine and my babies life. ❣️

We have adopted four children, all with special needs. Our current home study expires on May 20. Our current agency does not want to renew our study. They feel we are too old (in our 50's) and have enough children. We are saddened by the fact that we only need a renewal to add another child to our family. Our son is just finishing his 4 week stay for marijuana addiction. i do not know how his long term recovery will go, but the staff at The Manor (particularly Dr Thomas) have been incredibly supportive to us. I did a tremendous amount of research prior to selecting The Manor. I have been reassured throughout this process by their caring staff. I'm so grateful that I found it.

My family was encouraging me to get help. I put it off as long as possible. If I was going to treatment, I wanted a very nice program and a private room. I finally went to The Manor. This place saved my life. The staff were very patient with me. I had been to treatment before but it was nothing like this program. I liked having individual therapy. Also, my wife and I had a lot of couples counseling. I was also able to do some work and that helped relieve stress about losing clients or my company. I have been home now for several months. It has been difficult at times but I am doing well. I have my life and my family back.

I was given an ultimatum by my wife. Go to The Manor or get a divorce. You do a lot of hard work there and within two weeks it was clear that my addiction to meth was a co addiction evolving primarily from my addiction to a controlling and mentally abusive wife. The staff is wonderful..they ask the tough questions but we do the work. I'm now happily divorced and drug free! Thank you to the amazing staff!

Mr. Avenash is my therapist over several weeks or months I have been able to see growth in my mental health healing process. It is good to have such a caring person to talk to. He is patient and understanding. The flow is good and he let's me be me. Sometimes I color or fidget and he is great at giving words of encouragement. He really provides a positive experience. The staff at the Paquette Center are absolutely wonderful and so easy to work with. Everyone is welcoming, caring, and truly makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The therapists have been amazing — compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and want the best for them. I called to inform you of my donation and then I didn’t hear anything for 5 days. I called again and got the number of Dale, the driver assigned to pick it up. He tried to call me many times. Before my insurance changed I worked with Ryanne Wendt and Alyssa Sydalko. (not sure if their names are spelled correct) I have nothing but positive things to say about both of them. My life will be forever changed by them. Ryanne is an amazing counselor who makes difficult issues easy to talk about and helps you to see what you’re doing right as well as areas to improve on. Wish I could still see her, if my insurance situation changes definitely going back to her. Best counselor I’ve ever worked with! Alyssa changed my life forever too! She took me seriously when discussing symptoms and gave me a referral for a pulmonologist instead of messing with medication combinations that did nothing to relieve my symptoms.... turns out I have narcolepsy! Alyssa was the one medical provider who went the extra mile for me ... after 10+ years of misdiagnosed symptoms she is the person who sent me down the path for a proper diagnosis and symptom management. That process would have taken years to figure out on my own. These ladies are amazing providers who definitely care about their clients! If you get the chance to work with them, do it!
